About: Hi! I’m Catalina, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. My dad and I used to take care of dogs together for years, and now that he’s stepped away from Rover, I’m continuing the work we both loved. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds. I’ve handled everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, I’ve cared for all types of animals, dogs, cats, small pets, and have hands-on experience with pregnant dogs, newborn puppies, and even helping deliver a litter. My class schedule is Tuesdays (11 AM–5 PM), Wednesdays (1 PM–5 PM), and Thursdays (3 PM–5 PM). I’m available before and after class times and have flexible availability on other days! My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved just like they are at home. Even with my class schedule, pet care is an important part of my routine. I organize my day to make sure pets receive regular walks, feeding times, playtime, and lots of attention. Before and after classes, I’m fully available to give pets the care and companionship they need. Under my care, pets receive constant attention and structure. I create a calm, clean environment where each pet has space to relax and feel secure. I stick to their feeding and walk schedule, monitor their behavior throughout the day, and offer plenty of playtime and breaks. I also keep communication open with owners and send frequent updates. Safety, routine, and comfort are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since I was 13. Aside from caring from my own dog, I have care for the dogs (and cats!) of family and friends, walking them, dog sitting at their homes, or dropping for walks, feeding and play time. I’ve had plenty of experience working with puppies and senior dogs, particularly with my own dog who experienced many health issues in his older years. I work from home, and have a relatively flexible schedule. That being said, my availability is largely after 3pm during the weekdays or mornings and afternoons on Saturdays, but I am able to drop in visits and walks during the day as well, schedule allowing! I typically care for pets in the pet parents home based on the pet parents guidelines. I like to ask pet parents as many questions as possible to make sure I try to maintain as close a routine as possible for the pet while they are in my care. This include walking and feeding schedules, how much playtime and what kind of playtime is allowed/encouraged, and any other specifics I should know about how to care for the pet (medication, where they sleep, how they interact with other dogs/pets, etc.)

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life since I was very young as I always enjoyed hanging out with my friends and family’s dogs. During parties, I would frequently end up gravitating towards the animals in the house more than the people. I’ve always wanted to know what exactly they’re thinking. As for my own personal experience with dog care, I have had a dog of my own (Chihuahua/Terrier Mix) for 6 years now and before that I fostered a dog (Coonhound) who was from an abused home. I work in a Public School, so on weekdays I’m available after 3PM (after 4PM on Wednesdays only) for Drop-Ins. I am available to housesit on most weekends (Fri-Sun). I love snuggling with dogs (my own dog loves a good long cuddle after he eats). When the weather is warm, I enjoy laying out a picnic blanket and sunbathing with my dog and playing with him. If your backyard is fenced in and you don’t mind, I’d love to have some leisurely outdoor time with your dog too! I just really want to hangout with some furbabies! I am attentive and always looking out to see if I’ve made my own dog uncomfortable & I will take the same care when it comes to a client’s dog. Their boundaries matter! As a small dog owner, I’m very keen on this.

About: In addition to having worked via Rover for about six weeks (as of March '26), with many pleased recurring and one-time cusomers, caring for a range of dogs from a massive greyhound to a two-decade-old moniature almost at hospice-level care, I've taken care of two family dogs who became family members, one of which I rescued from a neglectful owner. I was a hands-on dad to my son, and as a single parent knew well how to feed and change him and care for him when he was sick. As a senior, I've the experience and "seasoning" to know what's important, whether it's an infant or child or a family dog, and how to see to it that the one in my care is well cared for, happy, and loved. Since the condo development where my wife and I live doesn't allow dogs, I take special pleasure in spending time with them at every opportunity. I come from a long line of dog lovers on my dad's side, and proudly carry on that tradition. I'm a retiree who does part-time volunteer work, both hands-on with elementary-school-aged children and legislative and policy advocacy on behalf of folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My other major activities are staying in shape and learning a foreign language. These part-time gigs, and the fact that my wife works part-time, leave me enough time to do some pet care. I cannot care for pets in my home, or for that matter have a dog, because the condo development where I live does not permit dogs. I care for dogs in their owner's homes, following their owners' lead, so to speak, and according to their owners' directives. Fortunately, this means that the dogs I care for, who know their way around their own turf, do not need to adjust to new environs. As a guest myself, I am naturally inclined to treat the home where I find myself with extra care and respect, more so than I would my own home.
