About: I've worked via Rover for about six months (as of mid-July '26) -- during which time I've had many highly-satisfied customers, both recurring and one-time. I have cared for a wide range of dogs, from a massive greyhound to an uncharacteristically aggressive male lab to a 20-year-old miniature requiring loving TLC. Prior to Rover, I've taken care of two family dogs who became family members, one of which I rescued from a neglectful owner. I was a hands-on dad to my son (now grown), got him the care he needed to survive and thrive as a preemie, and as a single parent knew well how to feed and change him and care for him when he was sick. As a senior, I have the experience and "seasoning" to know what's important, whether it's an infant or child or a family dog or a person with a disability or a senior like myself. So I know how to see to it that the one in my care is well cared for, happy, and loved. Since the condo development where my wife and I live doesn't allow dogs, I take special pleasure in spending time with them at every opportunity. I come from a long line of dog lovers on my dad's side, and I proudly carry on that tradition. I keep as active as the vicissitudes of age allow, and currently am able to hike, play pickleball, and have recently returned to tennis, 5K runs, and kayaking. I gave them love and more respect. i can do in the mornings daily on the weekends i can do the same as well. what i can do is get extra time if thats needed. well for me we live in a house we have a garden back yard where my brothers dog or my down stairs neighbors dog they all come in sometimes and i babysit for them i watch out for them at all times and take them for good walks. my neighborhood is nice for walking dogs.

Maddie was by far the best dog sitter. I have two golden retrievers that love to run, play fetch and go on hikes. She did all of the above and more. she sent me pictures, took the dogs hiking at the reservation, they went on 2 mile walks, played fetch and were very well taken care of. She went above and beyond — Rocket is currently going through a hard time and she cooked fresh meals for Rocket every day and was able to get him to eat without vomiting, which has been a big challenge for him.
