About: I’ve been a dog owner for years and have cared for pups at every stage of life—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who needed extra patience, gentleness, and consistency. I’ve raised one dog through his puppy years and lovingly supported two others through their golden years, so I’m comfortable with training basics, routines, mobility changes, medications, and slower-paced walks when needed. Over the years, friends have trusted me with their dogs while they travel, and now that I have more space in my home—and a large, fully fenced yard—I’m excited to do this regularly. My dog, Ochosi, and I love getting outside for long walks and hikes, and I’m happy to tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, energy, and needs—whether that means an adventurous trail day or a cozy afternoon of cuddles. As a bonus, my roommate is also a longtime dog lover and former dog owner, so your pup will get extra attention and affection beyond just me and Ochosi. Between our household, your dog will be surrounded by care, play, and consistency while you’re away. As an empowerment coach, I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present with the dogs I care for throughout the day. I do have occasional workshops, classes, and client visits that take me out of the house part-time, but I always plan my schedule carefully so pups get plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I focus on keeping routines consistent, energy balanced, and tails wagging. My Shih Tzu has always received compliments on her friendly behavior and obedience training. She's allowed to roam freely in the home b/c there are no perishable items accessible to her. About: I raised my puppy from when she was only a couple months old. I stayed up with her when she needed someone and took her out every few hours, and she never had an accident in the Home. I work from home so I am pretty flexible with what your dog might need. I would be taking your dog outside every few hours as needed. We have a backyard that does not have a fence so your dog would be on a leash whenever we go outside to take breaks or play.

About: I have been a dog owner for several years now! I understand what it’s like to worry about our four-legged children while we’re away from them. Not all of us get to have the luxury of having family and friends care for our pets when we can’t ourselves. My mission is to make sure they get enough play time, lots of love and yummy treats! About: My life has always been measured in the animals who’ve walked beside me. My very first furry friend was a dog my mother rescued the day I was born; a stray who chose us as much as we chose her. She watched over me as I grew, and when she passed, our home filled again with life: a white German shepherd, a Siberian husky, a Chesapeake Bay retriever, and two rescue dogs who completed our pack of five. Alongside them were rabbits, birds, and fish, each one a small heartbeat that shaped my understanding of care, patience, and love. I grew up feeding, walking, grooming, training, and comforting animals of every age and temperament. I’ve raised puppies from their first steps, and I’ve supported senior dogs through their gentle final years. I’ve administered medication, helped dogs with mobility needs, used ramps, changed diapers, and adapted to whatever made them feel safe and dignified. To me, these things aren’t chores, they’re acts of love. During my undergraduate studies, I also trained to become a veterinarian, deepening my understanding of animal health, behavior, and compassionate handling. As part of that training, I traveled to Thailand for two weeks to volunteer at a dog and cat shelter, where I supported stray animals and assisted licensed veterinarians with spay and neuter procedures. About: I am a puppy mom in Astoria/LIC, close to many scenic walks and dog parks. I know how important it is (especially with puppies) that you re-enforce positive behaviors and training so your pup comes back behaving how you want them! I have been caring for others dogs (friends, neighbors, coworkers) for the past 10 years and have now successfully raised and train my own dog over the past year. About: I grew up with a dog that we lost at age 15, then I adopted a senior dog who I had for five years afterward. He had a variety of health issues I had to administer medication for, including epilepsy and arthritis. In March of 2024, I adopted a puppy, so I now have experience with younger dogs as well. I allow drop off/pickup between 8AM and 8PM. I work from home full time, M-F from 9AM - 6PM. I can take your dog out to pee numerous times throughout the day and can take them on longer walks 1-2 times per day, weather permitting. I only board dogs who are fully house trained and can be left alone for a few hours at a time as I do not offer constant care. Please bring all of your dog’s supplies as I live in an apartment and don’t have extras: food, bed, treats, bowls, toys, chews/enrichment, leash and collar, and anything else you want to send them with to feel comfortable. I have poop bags and some toys they can share with my dog. I can only accept bookings with dogs who are friendly with others, as I have a dog of my own. If they do not seem comfortable together I have a baby gate I can use to separate them. My dog stays in her crate whenever I leave my home. Please note that I do not let dogs I am sitting sleep in my bedroom so they will be sleeping by themselves in whatever bed or crate you provide in my living room.

I’d say I personally have more experience babysitting than pet sitting but that being said, I have a huge heart for nurturing and caring I am currently working a part time job but my schedule is pretty flexible so I have a lot of time on my hands! Starting June 1, I will be working a full-time internship and will be available on weekdays from 6 PM to 10 PM, and on weekends from 9 AM to 3 PM. During dog walks, I make sure they get safe, structured exercise based on their energy level, while always keeping them securely leashed and monitored. For drop-in visits, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, refreshing water, playtime, and any specific routines.
