“Andrew is our go to person when I need someone to keep TIMO company’s especially during last minute requests! TIMO always enjoys play time with Andrew and always waits for him and greets him with a hello each time. If anyone needs a dependable person who is good with pets look to Andrew! Timo and I appreciate it!”

“Liz was great watching my cats! She sent me lots of pictures and spent plenty of time with them to make me feel comfortable while I was away! She even got my shy cat out of her shell in just two visits which made me so happy to see while I couldn’t be there with them. Great communication from her and overall just such a great help while I was gone.”

“Kathryn was eager to meet my boys prior to our trip. This puts everyone at ease. It’s something I look for when choosing a new pet care provider. Kathryn followed all my instructions and was communicative all during our trip. My boys were happy and content when we got home.”

About: Ever since my family got our first dog, I absolutely fell in love with them. I offered to always watch after my friend’s dogs whenever their family would travel. I would walk them, play with them, and always send cute updates about their pup! I am currently unemployed this summer so I will have plenty of time to play and walk your pups! I’m typically available any day of the week and I am also open to same-day scheduling. If I am not available I will let you know as soon as possible! Having dogs myself, I have learned how to take properly care for them and understand the importance of keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. I always follow owner’s instructions, make sure pets have plenty of food and water, exercise, and lots of attention!

About: As a teacher, patience, responsibility, and clear communication are part of my everyday life, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I'm comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, whether they love long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with company. I pay close attention to each pet's routine, follow care instructions carefully, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. During the summer I am working less hours I am available Monday- Friday after 3 pm and the weekends I am free all day. Caring for my own two dogs is already part of my daily routine, so looking after other pets fits in naturally. For dog walks, I make sure each walk matches your dog's energy level and routine, whether they enjoy a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. During drop-in visits I am capable of doing anything that is needed to care for your dogs needs.
“Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -”

“She is absolutely amazing. Always kept me updated and asked questions if needed to know anything. She is very thorough and took care of my dog and he was her own. 100% recommend if you want you fur baby to be loved while you are gone.”

Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. Hi! I aim to be reliable, communicative, and gentle with every animal I care for, and I’ll treat your pet with the same patience and care I give my own. About: I have over two years of professional pet care experience working for Animal Loving Care (ALC) in New York City. During my time there, I worked as a dog walker, pet sitter, and in the dog daycare department, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. The company even invited me to return after I moved to New Jersey, which I consider one of the greatest compliments to my work. I now provide reliable, loving, and personalized pet care in New Jersey. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I return early the following morning to continue their routine, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, companionship, walks, meals, and playtime. • Boarding in My Home: I can welcome pets into my home any day of the week, as long as they are friendly and comfortable around young children. • Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits: I am available seven days a week for walks, feeding, potty breaks, medication (if needed), playtime, and companionship. Depending on the time of day, I can accommodate visits with or without my son, depending on the schedule and your pet’s needs. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before the first booking so you and your pet can get to know me. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and the same love and respect I would give my own. I am a stay-at-home mom raising my two and a half year old son. I am available full time to care for your pet, taking him/her for walks, feeding it, and playing with them. We live in an apartment, but we have parks nearby, and there is plenty of green space right downstairs. My son is a calm child, and he likes animals. He doesn't hit, bite, or scratch, neither the animals nor us.

About: I never anticipated become a dog dad. However, when my brother passed away 5 years ago, someone had to step up to take care of Hunter, the 3 year old lab who's life was just destroyed. Together, we have been there for each other through countless highs and lows while I do my best to give him the best life possible! My goal is to provide your pet with the above and beyond care that I would want someone to provide Hunter when I am not there to do so. This Summer, I plan to make myself available after 3pm on the weekdays, as I will be playing piano for some musicals in Westchester. Saturdays and Sundays I will be available all day long! I can't think of a better way to fill my weekend than spending time with your dogs! Pet safety is of the utmost concern, whether I'm caring for my own, or your precious child. When entering and exiting client's and pet's homes, I always exercise an abundance of caution and tranquility to ensure a peaceful visit from start to finish. What you can expect from my walks: lots of love, whatever enrichment they need, and a safe and fulfilling time for them!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maywood
We had a great experience with the pet care service for our dog, Cola! Jinghong was very patient and caring with her, especially since Cola is an older dog and needs extra attention. We really appreciated the regular visits, feeding support, walks, and overall communication. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of Cola — we truly appreciate it!
Tatiana goes above and beyond and is by far the best pet sitter/walker Penny has ever had. She is reliable, communicative, responsible, patient, and so kind. She takes Penny for long and scenic walks, plays fetch with her, and takes time to sit with her and give her plenty of pets and treats. I would recommend her to anyone!

I cannot recommend Maxibel enough! She has been absolutely amazing with my dog!! She is so kind, caring, and attentive. My dog genuinely gets excited to see her, which gives me so much peace of mind whenever I’m away. She is always punctual, responsible, and incredibly reliable. One thing I especially appreciate is how consistent she is with updates and photos, which always reassures me that my dog is happy and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does and treats every pet like her own. I’m so grateful we found her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
