“Erica is a devoted dog lover and sitter. From the very beginning (soon after my initial request) and all throughout her visits, she kept in regular contact and always communicated clearly and kindly. Our dog Ranger never had it so good. She kept us updated with photos of his activities and the love and care she provided. We'll definitely have her back. She has our highest recommendation!”

“Liz was great watching my cats! She sent me lots of pictures and spent plenty of time with them to make me feel comfortable while I was away! She even got my shy cat out of her shell in just two visits which made me so happy to see while I couldn’t be there with them. Great communication from her and overall just such a great help while I was gone.”

“Amazing. Amanda went above and beyond taking care of our grumpy old lady and rambunctious kitten! She followed all of my ridiculous instructions and sent lots of photos and video. I can tell that she loves animals and cares for them as if they are her own. Great communication too. We will def be requesting to book again! Thank you so much!”

About: Hello!! I’m Zainab, an owner of 2 silly cats and I would love to take care of your furry loved one! Spending time with pets genuinely makes me happy and it shows in the type of care I give them. Finding the appropriate pet care is just as stressful as finding the right care for your human child. A few of my qualities like being patient, reliable, and responsible can help ease your mind especially when you are far away from your pet. I will always stay in touch and give regular check-ins with a photo of your pet so you can see how they are doing. Yours and your pets comfort is my priority. I’m there to make your pet feel safe, loved and cared for no matter what their big personality brings. They can be shy, energetic, cuddly or even a bit stubborn. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s dogs and I care for my 2 cats including one of my cats that needs his daily oral allergy medication. I’d love to meet you and your furry best friend! I am currently unemployed and looking to fill up some of my time looking after your pets. My time is pretty flexible to give them all the attention they need! I try my best to keep up with your pets same schedule and routine so they do not feel lonely or stressed without their human their. And of course there will be extra attention and play time going around.
“Kathryn was eager to meet my boys prior to our trip. This puts everyone at ease. It’s something I look for when choosing a new pet care provider. Kathryn followed all my instructions and was communicative all during our trip. My boys were happy and content when we got home.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through family and friends, and I’m always the person they trust to watch their pets. I genuinely love animals, and dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m especially patient with more anxious or sensitive dogs. I have an anxious dog of my own, which has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and create a calm, safe environment. I’m very attentive and detail-oriented, so I always follow care instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or specific routines. I can also help reinforce basic training like leash manners and structure during walks. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, understood, and happy while giving owners complete peace of mind. I treat every dog like my own and always keep communication open and consistent. I’m available Thursday through Sunday, with the most flexibility on weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays, I work part-time and am home by early afternoon, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication above everything. I follow each pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, behaviors, and comfort levels. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as a very friendly Shihpoo who is used to being around other dogs. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I also have a pet camera at home for added monitoring, and a baby gate if a dog feels more comfortable in a smaller, more confined space. I’m especially mindful with more anxious dogs, as I have one of my own, so I understand the importance of patience and creating a calm, safe environment.
About: I have over two years of professional pet care experience working for Animal Loving Care (ALC) in New York City. During my time there, I worked as a dog walker, pet sitter, and in the dog daycare department, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. The company even invited me to return after I moved to New Jersey, which I consider one of the greatest compliments to my work. I now provide reliable, loving, and personalized pet care in New Jersey. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. My availability: • House Sitting (Client’s Home): I am available on weekends to stay with your pet throughout the day and evening. I return early the following morning to continue their routine, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, companionship, walks, meals, and playtime. • Boarding in My Home: I can welcome pets into my home any day of the week, as long as they are friendly and comfortable around young children. • Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits: I am available seven days a week for walks, feeding, potty breaks, medication (if needed), playtime, and companionship. Depending on the time of day, I can accommodate visits with or without my son, depending on the schedule and your pet’s needs. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before the first booking so you and your pet can get to know me. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and the same love and respect I would give my own. I’m an experienced and responsible pet caregiver with professional experience caring for dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home and available throughout much of the day, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and personalized care. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, exercise routines, and special instructions, and I always make your pet’s safety and comfort my priority. Your pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️

About: My heart doesn’t know any other way-when it comes to animals, I love them instantly and unconditionally. I have 18+ years of experience caring for animals, starting from a very young age. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for both Pitbulls and French Bulldogs but to me, breed doesn’t matter. I truly love all animals, big or small. I’m bilingual and speak both English and Spanish, which helps me connect with a wider range of pet parents and provide clear, open communication. I’ve always been the go-to person for anything pet-related. My family calls me the dog whisperer because I have a natural bond with animals, especially dogs. Whether it’s advice, health concerns, or just being a listening ear, I’m the one family and friends trust with their fur babies. My soul dog was a red nose pitbull named Bricks- he taught me what real love is. Since then, I’ve raised three amazing French Bulldogs: Juicy, Kuma, and Tron. I also had the incredible experience of raising two litters from birth- Juicy had 5 puppies and Kuma had 6. I provided round-the-clock care until they were ready for their forever homes. I still keep in touch with the families- they became part of mine. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I regularly pet-sit for friends, family, and neighbors-dogs and cats alike. One of my most consistent companions is Max, my neighbor’s dog, whom I’ve been caring for for over a year. I give him daily medication and make sure he always feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’ve also cared for a bearded dragon, who was part of our family for 11 wonderful years. I’m familiar with reptile needs, feeding, handling, and tank care. I also have experience caring for a cockatiel, including feeding, changing water, and maintaining a calm, happy environment for birds. I’m experienced with: Giving medication Drop-in visits Long walks and playtime Baths and basic grooming Feeding routines and crate care Newborn puppy care and socialization Basic reptile and bird care I truly treat every pet like they’re my own because in my heart, they are. The amount of kisses, cuddles, love, and attention your pet will receive is immense. I go above and beyond to make sure every animal feels safe, comforted, and cared for like family. I’m also very communicative and will keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. You can trust me to provide more than just care. I offer love, safety, and genuine companionship. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent attention, walks, feedings, and lots of love throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning potty breaks, midday walks, or evening snuggles, I can easily adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. Being home full-time means your pet will never feel alone and will always have someone nearby to care for and comfort them. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m visiting yours, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. At my home, pets have plenty of room to play and relax-I have a large fenced-in yard that's perfect for safe outdoor time and supervised play. If your pet is crate-trained or needs a crate for naps or bedtime, I can easily accommodate that too. I follow each pet’s routine closely-feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care instructions-to make sure they feel at home. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and ensure everything is done exactly how you’d like. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is safe and well cared for. I treat every pet like family and work hard to create a calm, loving, and secure environment, whether they’re with me or in their own home.

About: I have been a dog lover and animal rights advocate all of my life and I have always wanted to work with animals in some capacity. Making dogs happy has always been such a fulfilling goal of mine so walking and playing with your dogs is one way I can do that. I have previously worked at a dog hotel and know how to handle different sizes and temperaments so I am experienced in all situations. I am a big advocate for the more cuddles the better so your dog will feel loved for the entirety of their time with me! I currently work from home and it is flexible so I will be able to walk your dog as often as they need to. I have two dogs of my own that are super sweet and loves other dogs so your dog will fit very well into our already existing routine. I am respectful by following the rules of your home when I come into your home to pick up your dog. I will never do something that you do not approve of first whether it be giving a certain treat, going to a park, etc. Trust is the key!
About: Hi, I’m Kaila. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who will give your dog extra love, you’ve come to the right place! Other than being responsible and caring, my goal is to understand every client’s wants and needs. Let me know if you have any special requests, and I would be sure to accommodate them. I send updates while taking care of your pet so that you can rest assured that your dog is safe with me. I know how much the protection of your pet means to you, so that is my #1 priority! As for my background, I have interned at Oradell Animal Hospital observing surgeries, sitting in on clinical appointments, and familiarizing myself with different dog breeds and their unique personalities and medical needs. I have also worked as a Veterinary Assistant, assisting veterinarians during handling, exams and medical procedures. I have just graduated with my Bachelor's Degree and am working part-time as a medical receptionist so I have extra time to look after your furry loved ones. I have pivoted my career path but I still have a special place in my heart for caring for animals and am on Rover to fulfill that! I can also take care of cats or any small animals. My preference is for smaller animals for doggy daycare/boarding since my apartment is on the smaller side! I am able to provide plenty of quality time with your pups! My schedule is that I work part-time and I try to keep my Calendar updated as much as I can. Safety is a top priority. I always stay attentive when opening/closing front doors and make sure there isn’t anything unsafe on the floor or reachable for your pet! In terms of play, I love to provide your dogs with mental and physical exercise. Bring your dog’s favorite toys and treats, and I’ll be sure to have some fun with them and make your dog feel comfortable. I look forward to get to know you and your wonderful dog soon.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saddle Brook
Lillian was absolutely wonderful with our two Shih Tzus, Smokey and Bandit. From our initial meet-and-greet to a last-minute request for a walk and feeding, she was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She kept us updated, responded promptly, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in great hands. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Smokey and Bandit, and they were happy and well cared for every time she looked after them. We highly recommend Lillian to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring dog sitter. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

We had a great experience with the pet care service for our dog, Cola! Jinghong was very patient and caring with her, especially since Cola is an older dog and needs extra attention. We really appreciated the regular visits, feeding support, walks, and overall communication. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of Cola — we truly appreciate it!
Erica is a devoted dog lover and sitter. From the very beginning (soon after my initial request) and all throughout her visits, she kept in regular contact and always communicated clearly and kindly. Our dog Ranger never had it so good. She kept us updated with photos of his activities and the love and care she provided. We'll definitely have her back. She has our highest recommendation!

Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -

Alexander was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Ranger. He was attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. I could tell Ranger was in great hands the entire time. Alexander followed all of my instructions carefully and handled small changes to the plan with ease and flexibility. I felt completely at ease knowing Ranger was being so well cared for. I’d highly recommend Alexander.
