About: Hello!! I’m Zainab, an owner of 2 silly cats and I would love to take care of your furry loved one! Spending time with pets genuinely makes me happy and it shows in the type of care I give them. Finding the appropriate pet care is just as stressful as finding the right care for your human child. A few of my qualities like being patient, reliable, and responsible can help ease your mind especially when you are far away from your pet. I will always stay in touch and give regular check-ins with a photo of your pet so you can see how they are doing. Yours and your pets comfort is my priority. I’m there to make your pet feel safe, loved and cared for no matter what their big personality brings. They can be shy, energetic, cuddly or even a bit stubborn. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s dogs and I care for my 2 cats including one of my cats that needs his daily oral allergy medication. I’d love to meet you and your furry best friend! I am currently unemployed and looking to fill up some of my time looking after your pets. My time is pretty flexible to give them all the attention they need! I try my best to keep up with your pets same schedule and routine so they do not feel lonely or stressed without their human their. And of course there will be extra attention and play time going around.

“It was a pleasure to meet Diana! She answered all of my questions and is very flexible. She took Marcus on a walk and he had a great time. Have already rebooked! Thank you!”

“I have to start saying I’ve never hired a dog walker before, it was hard to trust someone else to take care of my pup. I had to find someone urgently a couple of days ago and Lillian was super accommodating with her needs and our requests. She was able to go to our place right away and kept us posted on every step of the way. She seemed pretty nice and I wanted to meet her as we’ll need more help with our pup in the future. We met a couple of days after and I have to say she was super sweet and loving towards my pup. I was happy she remembered all the things I told her about our dog. She even walked to the park and stayed with us for a while. She made it easier for me to trust in this apps. I highly recommend her.”

“Thank you for much for taking great care of Pinot. You were able to see quickly he is a sick little guy and gave him extra care of love. Appreciate the extra attention. I’ll surely reach out again!!!!”
“Erica was amazing! So sweet and easy to communicate! Pepper loved her and I’d definitely call her again to help out. She’s the best & I’m sure pepper will miss her!”

“I have used Liz multiple times, and she's been wonderful every time! She's so sweet with my dog, takes her time, and genuinely cares. I always appreciate the updates and photos after each walk, and she's consistently punctual and responsive. I will definitely continue booking with her.”

About: I have two siblings with a rescue dog each and I have been the go-to auntie to dogsit for them for years. Anytime anyone’s need to go on a trip, Auntie’s got them 💪. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can give them the attention, the cuddles, the walks, and the treats they need to be absolutely cared for. I work a remote job from 9-5. It’s not demanding so I have lots of flexibility. I will do walks in the mornings and evenings and can fit in a fun one in the afternoon for a little nature enrichment. Meal times are how the dog parents want. They can have access to my furniture and bed. I see myself as their auntie and they will be treated with the best love and care. My apartment is right next to a train so there will be loud train noises every few hours. I’m hoping this doesn’t spook the babies but please keep that mind.

I’m available throughout most of the day for midday dog walks, routine drop in visits, and last minute requests. Because I am not tied to a traditional 9-to-5 job, I can match your dog or cat’s exact schedule for feeding, exercise, and playtime without rushing I provide attentive, reliable care right in your pet's safe environment. For drop in visits, I handle all feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard cleanup, and plenty of undivided attention. I always double check locked doors, secure leashes, and send detailed photo updates before I leave so you have complete peace of mind.
“Amelia was absolutely wonderful with Bishop! She was available on very short notice, which was such a huge help, and she made the whole experience completely stress-free. She was caring, dependable, and kept us updated, giving us peace of mind knowing Bishop was happy and well looked after. It was clear she treated him like one of her own. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through family and friends, and I’m always the person they trust to watch their pets. I genuinely love animals, and dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m especially patient with more anxious or sensitive dogs. I have an anxious dog of my own, which has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and create a calm, safe environment. I’m very attentive and detail-oriented, so I always follow care instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or specific routines. I can also help reinforce basic training like leash manners and structure during walks. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, understood, and happy while giving owners complete peace of mind. I treat every dog like my own and always keep communication open and consistent. I’m available Thursday through Sunday, with the most flexibility on weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays, I work part-time and am home by early afternoon, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication above everything. I follow each pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, behaviors, and comfort levels. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as a very friendly Shihpoo who is used to being around other dogs. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I also have a pet camera at home for added monitoring, and a baby gate if a dog feels more comfortable in a smaller, more confined space. I’m especially mindful with more anxious dogs, as I have one of my own, so I understand the importance of patience and creating a calm, safe environment.
“Xavier was great! He was on time and patient. I have two dogs with special needs and Xavier took care of them with no issue. He sent plenty of pictures and they clearly were very well taken care of. He was communicative and very helpful!”

I am very flexible and active, what else would you want in a dog sitter! I have owned a dog my entire life and anyone who has a dog turns to me first to ask if I can watch their dogs! People would nickname me “an animal whisperer” as I seem to get along with all dogs difficult or not. I’ve dealt with the sweetest to aggressive pups! No matter the size, I am confident that I am capable to care and love your dog as needed! You’ll be passing up a great opportunity! Once your dog meets me you’ll forget passed sitters!

“Diane was such a friendly and communicative walker. She walked my 10 month old golden retriever puppy while I was away for a business trip. She walked him twice a day and left comments every single time and sent me pictures . I would definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her ?”

“Enis is wonderful and we couldn’t have hoped for a better dog walker. We made a last minute request to seek Enis’ service for Biggie Smalls, our 1-year-old, 76lb Tree Walker hound. Enis squeezed us in his busy schedule & upon arrival, Biggie loved him instantly! During the walk, Enis sent us photos -worthy enough to post on IG. It hasn’t been easy finding someone who isn’t intimidated by Biggies size & piercing howl. Best surprise when Enis returned Biggie —exhausted!! We were shocked as Biggie is HIGH energy. A treat for us, as we work long 12hr shifts at the hospital & needed the rest. Above all, Enis is reliable, professional, respectful, and a good communicator. Highly recommend Enis!”

I went abroad and needed someone to check on my dog and give him some extra love while he stayed with my dad. Erica was amazing and went above and beyond my expectations! She sent several photos of him, which were the highlight of my day while I was missing him so much. I would absolutely recommend her and will use her next time we go away!

Sophia was absolutely amazing with Bishop! From the very beginning, she was kind, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bishop was happy, safe, and well cared for. It was obvious he was in great hands and enjoyed his time with her. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sophia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog walker or pet sitter. Thank you, Sophia, for taking such great care of Bishop!
I can't say enough about Elizabeth! She was wonderful! I was so worried about finding a dog walker, and she eased my fear. She's definitely confident when it comes to larger breed dogs, the size and look of my dog did not faze her! The initial meet and greet went well! And I think it helped with the relationship between her and my dog.. I'm so relieved that we have someone that we can count on! And someone that my dog likes, and it comfortable to go on walks with! Thanks Elizabeth!! See you next time! 😉

Bryndon is great! Our dog usually barks at everyone that comes in the house. She did not bark at all with Bryndon. She met him at the door and after a few sniffs, sat down so he could pet her! Bryndon was very engaged in learning about Miracle's personality and quirks. He was engaged with her and at the same time maintained full control of her (she can pull at times). Bryndon was also very attentive to everything we shared with him about Miracle and we are very confident that Miracle will be in great hands on her walks with Bryndon.

Daisy trusted Michelle the moment she met her and is so happy when she drops in for her visits. She is very attentive to her needs, responds quickly to my messages and is flexible with me. She has a very calming demeanor to her which is exactly what my anxious Daisy needs. Highly recommend!

We’ve had such a great experience with our dog walker, Xavier! He’s been walking our two dogs, Koda and Miso, and I honestly couldn’t ask for better care. Both dogs have their own personalities, and he handles each of them so well—making sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and love. I always feel at ease knowing Koda and Miso are in good hands. Xavier is reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs he works with. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows in how happy and relaxed my pups are after every walk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
