About: I have over 7 years volunteering as a Dog Foster for a local rescue group. I love being around all kinds of animals and enjoy being out in nature. I have fostered and trained over 35 dogs including my own rescue pup Amber. If you have a feisty pup and would like me to train yours, I can also train your dog while in my care for an additional fee. Upon request, I can teach sit, stay, paw, high five, crate training, walking on a leash and playtime. Although I am not a licensed dog trainer I am fully capable of getting you the results you seek through love, patience and repetition. Just come meet Amber, she is perfectly trained and I can do the same for your furbaby. I have many references which I can provide at your request. I look forward to hearing from you and caring for your furbaby as though she/he were my own. Please note: Rover does not have a section to ck off for training so it would be based on request. Rover also does not list a Ck off for teenage children in the house; I have two (One 17 year old and one 19 year old) Also, my beautiful loving cat Madonna recently passed of old age in March of 2019 she was 17 years old. May she rest peacefully in Gods heavenly kingdom for our furbabies.
“Casey was great! She was right on time for the walk with my puppy Brandy, took her around my neighborhood and even played with her a bit inside before putting her back in the crate.”

“Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!”

“I needed a dog-sitting service last minute, and Angela came through in a big way! She was super responsive and made sure my dog was well taken care of despite the short notice. I got updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease. My dog seemed happy and relaxed when I returned. Highly recommend for anyone in a pinch!”

About: I've had my own dog for the past 10 years, so I'm very comfortable with the daily responsibilities of caring for pets. I take care of everything from walking and feeding to bathing and basic training. Over the past few years, I've also looked after my neighbors' and family members' pets while they were away, making sure they stayed on their normal routines and got plenty of attention. I understand that every pet is different, and I always make an effort to provide the same level of care that I'd want for my own dog. I work part-time remotely, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the day to walk, play with, and care for your pet. I'll make sure they get the attention and care they need while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions. I make sure the pet is always safe, supervised, and comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m careful to respect the home, keep everything clean, and communicate if anything comes up while I’m there.
“I was looking for a new dog walker after my last one recently moved, and after extensive searching, I found Bryndon. He accommodated my last-minute booking and quickly gained the trust of my reactive dog, Shaggy. Shaggy was excited every time Bryndon came back to walk him, and I was impressed with Bryndon's responsiveness. I am looking forward to booking with him again in the future.”

“Cheryl and Elmar took such great care of our dog Peanut! They were even able to accommodate us when we needed emergency doggy care on short notice after our flights were canceled - we are so grateful! Peanut also had so much fun on his walks with them, he was so excited and waited by the door for them! Highly highly recommend!”

I can't say enough about Elizabeth! She was wonderful! I was so worried about finding a dog walker, and she eased my fear. She's definitely confident when it comes to larger breed dogs, the size and look of my dog did not faze her! The initial meet and greet went well! And I think it helped with the relationship between her and my dog.. I'm so relieved that we have someone that we can count on! And someone that my dog likes, and it comfortable to go on walks with! Thanks Elizabeth!! See you next time! 😉

Bryndon is great! Our dog usually barks at everyone that comes in the house. She did not bark at all with Bryndon. She met him at the door and after a few sniffs, sat down so he could pet her! Bryndon was very engaged in learning about Miracle's personality and quirks. He was engaged with her and at the same time maintained full control of her (she can pull at times). Bryndon was also very attentive to everything we shared with him about Miracle and we are very confident that Miracle will be in great hands on her walks with Bryndon.

Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
