“Kobi is great! My dog has been transitioning to a new space and he has had a lot of anxiety. Kobi entered my apartment and sat down and waited for Henry to become comfortable! I really appreciated that and will continue to use her just for that small gesture. Thanks Kobi!”

About: Hello my name is Nicholas and I'm a pet loving, experienced dog walker. I just received my first 5 star rating. I take great pride in providing the best pet care possible for my clients. Besides having pets growing up I was the only child. So I fully understand the value of a pet as a member of the family. I'm a full time pet care provider but more over we're a family owned business. So we provide pet care in McGinley Square and in Society Hill. Essentially we walk, board, pet visit, and doggy daycare all week. Plus on holidays. We have a backyard so the guys get run some laps and get in some much needed quality time. Plus we literally take group photos. Plenty of belly rubs to give out and fresh Poland Spring for the modern active doggo.

About: Hi! My name is Anna. As long as I can remember, I’ve always been surrounded by animals. From a young age, I would bring home kittens and help care for animals I found outside. I also helped my brother take care of a German Shepherd, including walking and daily care. I’ve worked at a stable with horses, which taught me responsibility and attentiveness. I’ve had different pets, including a chameleon, which taught me to pay close attention to details and animal behavior. I am very responsible and always pay attention to a pet’s health and mood. I follow instructions carefully and try to understand each animal to find the right approach. I treat every pet with care, patience, and respect. I will make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your pet’s needs. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walking on weekdays and weekends. I can also help on short notice if needed. I always follow the owner’s instructions and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I pay attention to their behavior and mood and try to understand each animal. I am calm, patient, and careful. I keep everything clean and make sure your pet is well taken care of. I also send updates and photos, so you can feel relaxed while you’re away.

About: Hello my name is Shanel Smith. I am a aspiring actor, model, and poet. What makes me different from the rest is that i know how to make people and dogs feel at home. I am very open and like minded to whom ever i meet. Both the dog and the owner are going to love how I engage with them. Dogs need love and affection just like human beings. They respond to what's right and wrong, and since they are spiritual creatures they are going to pick up on my aura. i have always been a animal lover they understand me and i understand them. My availability is flexible and I’m very compassionate about what I do. As I was growing up my dog was my baby brother I shared everything with him cleaned up after him and gave him all the attention he deserved. I also love to run and play them. Bath time is the best! And just like taking care of a baby you have to be on a schedule and have great time-management skills. Both the owner and the dog are going to appreciate what I bring to the table.

IF YOU NEED TO MODIFY OR CANCEL A BOOKING PLEASE DO SO 7 DAYS BEFORE THE BOOKING STARTS. IT IS STATED ON THE REQUEST ON THE BOTTOM THAT THERE IS A 7 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY. I have this in place because when you book me I don’t reserve any other clients during the times you reserve me and so when I’m cancelled within 7 days I am often asked to waive the cancellation penalty and I cannot. This is put in place to compensate for the time and days I’m unable to book anyone else. 1. I DO NOT give discounts. My normal rate is $55 per 24 hours. My puppy and senior dog rate is $65 for 24 hours. And during holidays it increases by $10. 2. I DO NOT give discounts for long-term care. Rover takes a percentage of my earnings. 3. I offer pick up and drop off for a fee. The fee is a one-time fee and it covers both ways. Please add it to the request if you require that service. Thank you! 4. IMPORTANT: Please provide pick up and drop off times as accurate as possible. I normally make plans after a boarding is finished (whether it’s personal or another dog or cat is on the way). If you believe that your flight might be delayed or not sure at what time you’re going to be able to pick up your pet kindly set a pick up time that covers that timeframe accordingly. 5. I am open to meet and greets! Just let me know what times and days work for you and where you would like to meet and I’ll also check my planner. I DO NOT hold meet and greets in my home as requested by my landlord and neighbors. I can hold meet and greets outside my building however! 6. Please provide me with care instructions, allergies/medications, schedules etc. that way I may provide the best care possible for your pet 💜 7. Please disclose behaviors and/or behavioral issues. Does your dog have anxiety? Can he or she be left alone for at least two hours? Does your pet have a trigger or past trauma? Does your pet get into things in the home or during walks? Is your dog or cat aggressive? Do they get along with other animals, children, men? Safety is my number one priority when it comes to hosting pets for all parties involved 💜 8. Please provide all supplies that your pet will need during my care to make his or her stay comfy. I do have dog beds, bowls, toys etc but feel free to provide whatever you’d like. The one main thing I do not provide is food! Every doggy has their own dietary restrictions so to avoid issues with their tummies please provide what they eat at home. Thank you 😊 9. Let me know how many updates you’d like me to send you daily. That way it’s not underwhelming or overwhelming. Whatever works for you works for me! 10. Please provide an emergency contact and vet information in the event of any occurrence or just for backup. 11. I kindly ask you for courtesy as this is my living, income. Thank you for your courtesy and understanding. After one day I will decline your request and if you wish to proceed at a later time then feel free to submit a new request. I cannot hold dates. 12. If you’d doggy has severe anxiety please let me know so we can determine if we are a good fit for your pet and their needs. While there is always someone at home, I do step out with my son 4 days a week to take him to his karate lessons in the late afternoon/early evening (depending on the day) for about one hour to one hour and a half (with commute). Thank you! Any questions feel free to include them in your request and I will answer everything for you. I thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope that I can be of assistance. Have a great day 💜 I provide three walks daily: morning, afternoon, evening before bedtime. We are home a good amount of time with the exception of my son’s extra curricular activities which normally take an hour to an hour and a half. All doors to the outside are closed at all times. Our building also has two doors to the entrance. For cats, we keep our windows especially closed. We also have a gate that separates the living room and the kitchen so when we are cooking and eating the gate is to keep the dog/s in the living room area in order to prevent them from eating anything that might fall on the ground. Dogs are truly easy to manage when it comes to safety as they tend to be obedient and I’m able to entertain them easily. However, with cats as we know get into everything, on everything and it’s much difficult to know what they do overnight since they are free spirits 🤪 Nonetheless, I do my best to ensure the safety of everyone, your pets and my family. Please read the Rover Guarantee for further details.
“Lailah, walked our dog morning and night for five days in a row when I got hit with COVID. She did a fantastic job and really saved the day! Communicating was always easy, she was very nice, and my dog LOVED her. She would get so excited to see her each time. It was clear that she had good dog energy. I highly recommend trusting her with your pet. We will totally reach out again in the future. She did a fabulous job!!”

“Gabriela and Maidely were so wonderful! They went above and beyond with Charlie and Mr Peppers. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our kids were in good hands. We will definitely be using their services again! :)”

Jersey City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ana from the beginning was quick and responsive and willing to meet. She was attentive to asking all the right questions that made me feel more at ease in making my decision. She cared for my dog Zorro while my husband & I traveled, and updated me with pictures and questions along the way! Even though my two cats were not part of her duties, she was nice enough to update me on them. I plan on booking with Ana come further travels! Thank you once again.

We had a great experience with Maryna as our dog walker! She was always prompt, left thoughtful and detailed notes after each visit, and made sure Gordy got a full walk even in the rain. She also took the extra time to refill his food and water whenever needed, which we really appreciated. It was so nice being away and knowing Gordy was in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care!
