About: I’ve watched, walked and babysat my friends, neighbors, and relatives pets for my whole life! I’m a huge animal lover and have experience working at the Monmouth county SPCA where I interned, assisted with adoptions, spay neuter appointments and overall customer service and animal care. I was recently laid off so in between jobs I’d love to hang with your fur baby whenever needed!! I’m very flexible and am in the area all week and on weekends. Also willing to come late night or early mornings if need be. :) I have a building with an elevator where plenty of other folks have friendly pets. My apartment is decent size with a bedroom where I could crate off your fur baby if needed. My space is super cozy and safe and has both carpeted and wood flooring areas. We also live right next to the dog park in Hoboken and would feel comfortable bringing your fur baby to play if that’s their jam!
“Sydney was great with Atlas. She was punctual, professional, personable and a went above and beyond to ensure my pup was comfortable and enjoyed his walk with her.”

“Kaitlin was great with Cody, our senior cockapoo. I left Cody with my senior parents and Kaitlin walked him 2x a day for 10 days. I would definitely book her services again.”

“I had very specific needs for my two dogs with regard to rotating them and walking them, and Dee was very attentive to both my boys’ needs. I don’t trust many people with my dogs, but was in a pinch due to a last minute switch in holiday plans around Christmas - I trust Dee 100% with them. I would recommend Dee to anyone in the area who needs such services, and I have already recommended Dee to my sister. I know I can count on Dee and plan on using her services again in the future.”

“Caren is great! She is super responsive and has given me great advice on how to care for Stevie. She constantly communicates and pays attention to all details to ensure Stevie is comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since 2015 and became a professional dog groomer in 2017, continuing in that role until 2020. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I’m dedicated to exploring every avenue to deepen that connection. I currently volunteer at the Newark Animal Shelter as a dog walker, and every moment spent with the animals there brings me joy. Whether your pet has paws or purrs, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring, capable hands. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos to keep you connected while you’re away. I’m experienced in administering medications—both oral and injectable—and always prioritize your pet’s health and comfort. Every dog and cat I care for is treated like family, with all the love, attention, and TLC they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the best care possible! Pet care is a natural part of my routine and something I truly enjoy. I’m busiest from Tuesdays through Thursdays, but I make sure to schedule pet care around those days so that each visit or stay gets my full attention. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or cuddles, I always carve out dedicated time to care for each pet like they’re my own. My beagle is a couch potato and will spend most of her day sleeping. My Jack Russell gets walks both in the morning and at night, and training during the day to keep her active. I will do the same for your pets, depending on your wants and the animal's needs!

About: I have always loved animals and enjoy spending time with them. I am responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I can provide feeding, walking, playtime, and basic care. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel comfortable and confident, so I always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I am also open to following any specific instructions you may have for your pet. I currently have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I am available on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs and provide consistent, loving care. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep a clean, calm environment. I pay close attention during walks and at home, ensuring pets are secure at all times. I can provide regular updates and photos so you feel at ease.
About: I am an animal lover to my core and am sure that I will have as much fun with your pets as they will have with me! I know what an important part of the family pets are, so rest assured nothing is more important to me than your pets’ safety and happiness. Aside from my family’s own pets, I have previously pet sat puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, and senior dogs for friends on numerous occasions. I have fairly open availability for pet care. Other than the days I am required to be in the office for work (Tu/Wed/Th), I have very little obligations that would interfere with care. Pets are members of the family and should be treated as such! Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment is of the upmost importance. Having dog friendly space in the home, the availability of a plethora of toys, or making sure each walk is engaging and fun - whatever the pet needs to be happy and taken care of.

About: I have several years of pet sitting and care experience. I have cared for a wide variety of pets such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and lizards. I’v provided walking, feeding, play, and overnight sitting for neighbors, friends and family. As a pet owner myself, with four cats and a dog, I understand the care and responsibility that comes with taking care of our furry (or not!) loved ones. I am comfortable around all types of energy levels, temperaments, and multi-pet homes. I am currently a student at FIT and attend class once a week on Tuesdays. Aside from school I work part-time remotely. I have a lot of free time and flexibility! I am very detail oriented and have an easy time following instructions. I am comfortable doing all pet care tasks like crating, giving medication, feeding, walking, etc. I treat anyone’s pet or home like I would my own with respect and kindness.
“Alison was incredibly patient with my new rescue dog, Olive, who tends to need a bit of time to warm up to people. She took some time to give Olive some treats and get to know her prior to taking her out for the walk which was so appreciated! I am excited to have her take Olive on more walks.”

About: I have been walking and taking care of my friends and families dogs for years. I am very passionate about animals and will always do my best to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I am currently a college student at American University. I play on the men’s soccer team at AU. For the summer, I have a lot more free time and flexibility. I would be available for daily walks through various parts of the day. I live in an apartment with plenty of room for a pet. I would let you pet on my furniture and have no problem with them hanging out in my room.
“Love Isabella! And so does my pup! She is an extremely responsible kind and reliable dog walker!! She sends us tons of photos and responds promptly to our requests. My dog loves her! Highly recommend!”

About: Your pet’s favorite vet student! I’m currently a third-year veterinary student with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a beloved senior, they’ll receive attentive, compassionate care and plenty of love while you’re away. I’m patient, reliable, and enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and safe. Growing up with a senior dog taught me the importance of personalized care, patience, and attention to detail. My veterinary training also allows me to recognize potential health concerns and monitor your pet’s well-being closely. You can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in caring, knowledgeable hands. I am currently on summer break! So I have lots of free time on my hands. I will be doing externship work at nearby veterinary hospitals at some point but that shouldn’t change my schedule too much. I love keeping pets active, happy, and entertained through walks, playtime, and plenty of interaction. I make sure they always have fresh food and water, get the exercise they need, and stick to their normal routine as closely as possible. Most importantly, I give them lots of love, attention, and companionship so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
The Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Elizabeth walks our dog multiple times a week and we can’t recommend her enough — she is fantastic!! Our dog loves her and she is so easy to work with. She is always on time and is flexible, communicative, and thoughtful. We have loved working with her and highly recommend!

Ashley is the best dog sitter! My Pitbull is a rescue and can be reactive and Ashley is so great with her. Very careful and aware on walks and follows all the detailed feeding instructions for her allergies. Before my cat passed, Ashley used to stay over and cat-sit for us as well. Very trustworthy and always kept us informed with texts and pictures. To top it off my animals are obsessed with her, Ashley is a true animal lover. I don’t know what I’d do without her!

Eli was absolutely wonderful with our two pups! She came to our home, was friendly, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Our pups were happy, well-exercised, and comfortable with her right away. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We highly recommend Eli and look forward to having her walk our dogs again!

We love having Talita walk our dog Pistachio! She is so attentive, friendly, and always follows our instructions for Pistachio. She sends great updates and the cutest photos. We can always rely on Talita to be punctual and take amazing care of our puppy! Could not recommend Talita more. She’s the best!!!

Ana from the beginning was quick and responsive and willing to meet. She was attentive to asking all the right questions that made me feel more at ease in making my decision. She cared for my dog Zorro while my husband & I traveled, and updated me with pictures and questions along the way! Even though my two cats were not part of her duties, she was nice enough to update me on them. I plan on booking with Ana come further travels! Thank you once again.

Brynne goes above and beyond - with proactive communication with us as well as following care instructions that we've shared for our pup. She is so friendly and kind. She truly loves dogs and treats them like her own. So happy to have booked her again and will keep her in mind in the future!
