Dog Walking in Downtown, Jersey City, NJ

About: I grew up with a beagle and pitbull-mix, so dog care (and playing with dogs) comes naturally to me. Plus, as a freelance advertising creative, I have a flexible schedule where gaps open up pretty regularly during the workweek. Also, I've lived in Jersey City for over 5 years now (and lived in Hoboken for a year prior), so I know the nooks and crannies--especially Paulus Hook, Downtown, Hamilton Park, the Waterfront, etc.--of the local area really well. I'm a freelance/contract copywriter currently working with a big consulting firm. However, I work remote and there are regularly down periods during the day. But, being remote, mornings and evenings are easy for me to be available, as well as weekends. In my home, it's about creating a comfortable space for your pup to play and relax. Additionally, I'll be living a block away from Van Vorst Park, which has a relatively popular dog run. In others' homes, it would be about respecting the home and how the owner takes care of the place, and adapting to those standards.

About: I've been walking my neighbors' dogs for a year now (back in California). My current place doesn't allow pets, but in the past I've also done boarding for a few days at a time. I work from home so I have plenty of time to walk, play with, and take care of your pets! My schedule is extremely flexible so I am available pretty much every day of the week. I live very close to the waterfront and multiple dog parks so there's plenty of space for your fur baby to play and run around!

About: Had pets all my life, dogs, cats, and even fish. Always loved animals and have a real passion for them. I was lucky to have the most well behaved amazing pets as a kid but have also had to deal with some toughies I am a student and a part time worker and volunteer. I’m pretty lucky to have a flexible schedule during the summer so I should be available most days at most times. Pet service is a two sided job. Of course you have to love the pet and have a good time being with them but it’s also about responsibility and being kind but stern. My grandma loves her cats but she feeds them a bit too much and I think I have learned from dealing with those poor cats.
