About: ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. My first dog — Lucy, a Border Collie I had when I was 11 back in Shanghai, China — was my best friend for 16 years. Alongside her, I cared for a rescued stray cat "Noji" and an adopted poodle "Bebe" when I was 13, which taught me patience, responsibility, policing different pets, and how to understand different pet personalities. After moving to the U.S. for school, I brought home my baby Corgi "Brioche" in 2020. She’s now a 5-year-old certified service dog who’s friendly, well-trained, and walked three times a day for at least 30 minutes each time. I also helped train and kept a baby Devon Rex cat for my family in 2025. What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I love fur babies more than anything and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I will be working part time starting summer 2026 in NYC, so my schedule is flexible, I'm available for daily walks, boarding both weekdays and weekends. I live in a 2 bedroom in FiDi close to battery park city. There are no crates and my corgi was never crate-trained. I don't have indoor pet potty so I almost only take my dog out for potty unless the weather is crazy. I have plenty of dog beds and toys.

About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life. I had a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian Spitz of my own, and over the years neighbors, friends, and family have asked me to walk, feed, and look after their dogs. I’ve taken care of all kinds — from small fluffy ones to big energetic breeds. I just really like dogs and try to treat them the way I’d want someone to treat mine. I’m reliable, I don’t mind long walks, and I always send owners updates and photos so they know their dog is doing fine. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits while they’re at work, or staying overnight at their place, I’m happy to help out in Jersey City. I’m currently working part-time, so I have good flexibility during the day. I’m available for dog walks on weekdays in the morning and afternoon, and also on weekends. I can usually fit in walks between 9am and 6pm, and I’m happy to adjust if a regular client needs a specific time. When walking dogs, I always make sure they are secure on the leash and I pay close attention to their behavior and the surroundings. I follow the owner’s instructions about routes, other dogs, and any special needs. I’m calm and patient, and I do my best to give each dog a good, safe walk while keeping them happy and exercised. About: Coming from a family of breeders, I grew to learn how to take care and love dogs who are not all mine. I have a dog of my own but she stays with my mom where she is less anxious. I love and miss my dog so by allowing me to take care of yours will help me just as much as I am helping you! I’m currently a full time student with a part time internship. I have 2 in person classes and the rest online so I have plenty of free time and availability. My home welcomes all dogs, small and big. I do not have a fenced in home, however i do have a tight grip on leashes and and confident and comfortable at walking dogs. My apartment has pathways and grass areas where dogs can sniff and walk freely.

“Ahmed and Michael are absolutely the best and Rambo can't wait to see them again. The best part of our vacation was knowing that our dog was enjoying his vacation too. We got frequent updates through pictures and videos and they were very responsive in general. They have a large place that easily accommodated multiple dogs and their backyard made it easier for Rambo and his new friends to run around and play off leash in a safe environment. They also stuck our spoilt brats diet and made sure that he was always entertained. We are looking forward to using them again in the future for all our boarding purposes!”

It can be hard to find someone that will take on a big dog in Hoboken and were very glad we found Lucas.”
