“Five stars for Jane! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I left my beloved pug, Lord Ginsberg, in Jane’s care while I traveled to Mexico, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Lord Ginsberg is not your average dog. He has his own routines, preferences, quirks, and very strong opinions about comfort. Jane understood all of that immediately. Her patience was absolutely legendary, and she took the time to learn his specific needs and little eccentricities without ever making me feel like I was asking too much. What meant so much to me was how communicative she was throughout my trip. She regularly sent adorable photos and videos of Ginsberg, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. Every update made it clear that he was happy, comfortable, and being genuinely cared for. Jane is not only responsible and attentive, she’s also warm, funny, and incredibly understanding. The best compliment I can give is that I could tell she truly enjoyed Lord Ginsberg’s company. She wasn’t just watching him, she was spending time with him and appreciating his unique little personality. She even came to understand his profound and unwavering love of cheese, which any true friend of Ginsberg quickly learns is a very important part of his worldview. When I came home, I found a happy, relaxed, well-cared-for pug, and that’s every pet parent’s dream. I can’t thank Jane enough for the care, kindness, humor, patience, and attention she showed him. I have a background of volunteering at farms and raptor rescues and I’ve also been a pet owner since I was a child, ranging from lizards to birds to rodents to dogs! My friends and colleagues have great confidence in me to take care of their fur babies. I currently work full time, but since my husband works weekends, I take that opportunity to help others by looking after their pets! What better way to spend a free Saturday than with furry friends. About: For the past few years, I have taken good care of my dog (the cutest Shih Tzu in the world) who is 12 years old and has one eye blind. Unfortunately I’ve lost him in the recent breakup - and therefore I have turned to Rover seeking opportunities to spend more time with cute dogs around the city. About: I’ve had my own cats and one dog throughout my childhood. They are the best parts of life. In addition, I have walked and watched dogs and cats for my friends and neighbors since high school. Dogs of all kinds and size - from pit bulls to corgis. Their ages have range from puppy to senior dogs, so I have experience with the more specific needs of older furry friends. I’m currently taking a course for social media marketing, so I’m looking for part time opportunities. There would be nothing better than getting to spend my extra free time with your furry family members. The nature of my course (that I make my own schedule) will allow me to be extremely flexible with your hours throughout the day and evenings. It is imperative that a dog/cat’s specific needs are thoroughly understood so that they can be best cared for in their home or mine. It is a privilege to be in an animals life, and it is only right that we do right by them. Once I do extensive research into their needs and routine, I will make sure to replicate those needs and routines when they are in my care.
About: I grew up surrounded by all dogs from family members, neighbors, etc. And have also had the privilege to take care of cats come college. I work well with dogs that need some extra excercise or cats that have a little less than friendly attitude. Whatever specifics you need, I'm sure I can accommodate! I currently work as a contracted employee in Manhatten so I have an extremely flexible schedule! I am able to be fully transparent about my schedule up to a week in advanced, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
