About: All my life dogs have been a part of my life All kinds and sizes of dogs And since I was the eldest it was my responsibility to take care of them My work schedule is flexible so I’m available anytime to be your sitter My daughter who lives with me also loves dogs so they will get more than enough care and attention We have a fenced yard and my apartment can most definitely be their playground as there is more than enough room for our furry friends
About: ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. My first dog — Lucy, a Border Collie I had when I was 11 back in Shanghai, China — was my best friend for 16 years. Alongside her, I cared for a rescued stray cat "Noji" and an adopted poodle "Bebe" when I was 13, which taught me patience, responsibility, policing different pets, and how to understand different pet personalities. After moving to the U.S. for school, I brought home my baby Corgi "Brioche" in 2020. She’s now a 5-year-old certified service dog who’s friendly, well-trained, and walked three times a day for at least 30 minutes each time. I also helped train and kept a baby Devon Rex cat for my family in 2025. What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I love fur babies more than anything and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I will be working part time starting summer 2026 in NYC, so my schedule is flexible, I'm available for daily walks, boarding both weekdays and weekends. I live in a 2 bedroom in FiDi close to battery park city. There are no crates and my corgi was never crate-trained. I don't have indoor pet potty so I almost only take my dog out for potty unless the weather is crazy. I have plenty of dog beds and toys.
About: I've always had dogs in my life growing up and recently have gotten a puppy on my own! However, I moved to Jersey for my post-doctoral fellowship and was unable to bring her with me. I have a well trained 5 year-old doodle that I miss a ton! I love long walks and would be awesome to bring your furry friend with me and I can definitely leash train while on walks as well. your pet remains clean, comfortable, and happy throughout their stay. You can expect timely updates and photos so you can see how well your furry friend is doing. Your pet will be in a loving and attentive environment, receiving the best care possible. I currently work from home so I will have plenty of time with your pups! I love training dogs and I would say it is my specialty. I have a fenced in dog area and lots of parks around my neighborhood that I would love to take your dog around. We'll enjoy long walks then just park up on the couch watching TV.
“Eduardo is always wonderful with our dog Sophie. She's been staying with him for two years now, and there is no one I trust more! Sophie isn't always great with other dogs, and Eduardo knows just how to help her overcome her fears and help her set boundaries! She's much better with other dogs now and I really think a lot of that is credit to Eduardo!”

“Peter was amazing with our puppy, Watson. He was extremely patient, communicative, and punctual. He sent photos throughout the days that Watson was with him and provided updates. I am so grateful to have found him and can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks Peter!”

“Nike can be nervous around new people but I can see that she definitely loved Kristi! We got regular updates and pictures and we’re happy that we met Kristi. Thank you!”

“Our little Tate looked like he had a wonderful time! From the moment they first met, Tate seemed really at ease with Nancy and Derek. They were so communicative and caring, and Tate will definitely be back!”

“My dog now becomes friend with Vera’s dog! Even before the day care start date she has already asked many questions for my dog to make sure everything is ready. During the day care she constantly sends my update with photos and videos. I know my dog has a wonderful stay at her home with his dog friend!”

“Our Pote had a wonderful day staying with Allison and Lucy (new beagle buddy) with plenty of fun and walks! Allison is such a loving and caring person, will definitely ask her help again.”

“Amanda was wonderful with out dachshund, Lola, who fell in love with her very quickly. Lola can be a bit of a handful (big personality, Napoleon syndrome) but Amanda knew how to handle her, and it sounds like they both had a great time. I know Lola got lots of cuddles and activity, and after the first day (when she was nervous being left with a stranger), she was very excited to see Amanda every morning.”

“Was such a blessing and relief to have you both take care of my baby girl. This was her first experience being babysat by strangers and she absolutely loved it! She came home and rested all evening. Thank you so much for spoiling her.”

“Alessandra was absolutely amazing with Dottie! As a young puppy, I was a little nervous leaving her, but Alessandra made me feel completely at ease from the start. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures and messages, and was always very informative about how Dottie was doing throughout her stay. It was clear that Dottie was getting lots of love, attention, and great care, and I really appreciated how communicative Alessandra was the entire time. Knowing Dottie was happy and in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with our experience and will definitely be booking with Alessandra again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter! Alessandra was absolutely amazing with Dottie! About: Pups Sanctuary is a cozy, home based space Veronika and George created together with one goal: to give every pup a safe, comfortable, and genuinely home like experience while their family is away We bring 15 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, needs and routines. We work as a team, which means your pup has two people looking out for them and providing plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, cuddles, and supervision throughout their stay We share our home with Brando, our friendly 10-year old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix), who is gentle with other dogs and enjoys having canine visitors around Our home is filled with plants 🌱, cozy couches, soft blankets, sunny spots to lounge, and plenty of comfortable spaces where pups can relax and settle in. We also have separation gates and multiple areas throughout the home so we can give dogs their own space whenever needed Because we work from home, our pups are rarely left alone for long periods. They can enjoy regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, affection, and plenty of opportunities to simply hang out with us and feel like part of the family At Pups Sanctuary, we believe great care starts with understanding each dog as an individual. We’re happy to follow your pup’s normal feeding schedule, walking routine, sleeping preferences, crate routine, medications, and any special instructions that help them feel secure Whether your dog loves long walks, play sessions, belly rubs, following us from room to room, lounging on the couch, or finding a quiet cozy corner for a nap, we adjust our care to their personality and routine Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times: Keeping our home calm and giving every pup a comfortable experience is very important to us. Drop-offs begin at 9:00 AM If you need an earlier drop-off, we ask that your pup stay with us the night before and arrive before 9:00 PM We generally do not accept drop offs or pick ups after 9:00 PM. We understand travel plans can change, and we may occasionally be able to make an exception. Whenever possible, though, we prefer for your pup to enjoy an extra night with us and be picked up the following morning. This helps us avoid late night arrivals or departures disrupting pups who are already relaxed and settled in for the evening Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always our priority. We want Pups Sanctuary to feel less like boarding and more like a warm, peaceful home away from home We look forward to welcoming you and your pup to Pups Sanctuary! 🐾🌱 My partner George works remotely and I have hybrid mode, so there will be always someone to spend quality time with your furry family member I like to care for them as the owner would. Any specific training or special need for a pet, I'm flexible and happy to do
“Chi was such a pleasure to work with. He kept us updated throughout the day with plenty of photos and videos. He was very responsive whenever I sent a message. I will definitely use his services again in the future.”

Vera was wonderful with our little Shih Tzu! She took him out for walks and gave him a comfortable place to rest, kept us updated with pictures and videos and was very responsive and communicative throughout the booking process and the actual stay. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Appreciate Grace for being patient and taking care of my Jubilee. She took the time during our meet and greet to learn more about Jubilee and her personality which I really appreciate since every dog has different needs and energy level. I’ve asked Grace to watch Jubilee twice now for daycare and I will definitely ask her again in the future.

We only have nice things to say about Yushan, she was very kind, professional, and caring. We received just the right amount of updates before we started to wonder if Ukah was doing well, with pictures showing how much fun he was having. It was also nice that Yushan had other dog and cats allowing our Ukah to socialize, since he doesn’t have any other dog/cat siblings. Despite our last-minute daycare arrangement, Yushan thoroughly asked for any needs or requests and cared for Ukah as discussed. We are very satisfied with our experience and would be happy to recommend Yushan to others.
