About: I am a remote worker who is able to stop in and take care of your pets any time of day. I have a very flexible schedule. I am a remote worker who spends most of my time at home. I am available to drive around locally any time during the day/night to do a drop in or all day pet care. I am very attentive to your pet’s needs and personality. About: Had pets all my life, dogs, cats, and even fish. Always loved animals and have a real passion for them. I was lucky to have the most well behaved amazing pets as a kid but have also had to deal with some toughies I am a student and a part time worker and volunteer. I’m pretty lucky to have a flexible schedule during the summer so I should be available most days at most times. Pet service is a two sided job. Of course you have to love the pet and have a good time being with them but it’s also about responsibility and being kind but stern. My grandma loves her cats but she feeds them a bit too much and I think I have learned from dealing with those poor cats.

If you'd like your dog to be crated, please provide your own crate. In Clients’ Homes: I ensure each visit feels familiar and comforting for your pet, sticking to their routine as much as possible. I refresh food, water, and any bedding as needed, and provide companionship and plenty of play. My focus is on creating a seamless transition so your pet feels safe and secure while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a beagle and pitbull-mix, so dog care (and playing with dogs) comes naturally to me. Plus, as a freelance advertising creative, I have a flexible schedule where gaps open up pretty regularly during the workweek. Also, I've lived in Jersey City for over 5 years now (and lived in Hoboken for a year prior), so I know the nooks and crannies--especially Paulus Hook, Downtown, Hamilton Park, the Waterfront, etc.--of the local area really well. I'm a freelance/contract copywriter currently working with a big consulting firm. However, I work remote and there are regularly down periods during the day. But, being remote, mornings and evenings are easy for me to be available, as well as weekends. In my home, it's about creating a comfortable space for your pup to play and relax. Additionally, I'll be living a block away from Van Vorst Park, which has a relatively popular dog run. In others' homes, it would be about respecting the home and how the owner takes care of the place, and adapting to those standards.

“Emily does a great job with my pup Dolce! She was my dog sitter for when I went out of town for 5 nights and I came home to a happy pup! The apartment was clean and tidy when I came home. She gave me updates along the way and when I got settled back into town I decided to hire her as my regular dog walker for Dolce. She comes twice a week and takes her out. She takes photos along the walk and I feel confident that Dolce is being looked after well. Highly recommend!”
