I currently am an education consultant that work remotely. There are times that I need to travel for work, but often, my schedule is pretty open. I have a passion for dogs and their well-being. I used to live in Milwaukee where I would spend many days at our local animal shelter and take care of the dogs there (it brought me so much purpose, even though it could be draining at times). After moving, I am missing the joy of being around other dogs and would love to re-integrate that back into my life as your dog walker/sitter!

My primary goal when sitting or walking your dog is to ensure that they feel comfortable, loved and safe. I know that when I am out of town, my dog can be quite nervous around new people. If I am staying at your house, I will ensure that I connect with you in advance to understand where all the dog's necessities are located in your home. I realize this is their space that I have the privilege of being in, and I want to honor that for them. If I am walking your dog, I will ensure that you know where we are going (whether it is on a hike or just around the neighborhood) so that you are comfortable with that. I LOVE taking photos of dogs, so I will make sure you have a whole photo album (if you'd like!) with all of our adventures!

Pet care experience
I have grown up loving and taking care of dogs! My current pup is a 103 lb Great Dane, Lab, Retriever mix, and she is the love of my life! More recently, I volunteered at an animal shelter where I took care of dogs all sizes. I understand and have supported dogs with a variety of needs and behaviors. I see the best in every dog and my priorities are always to keep them safe and happy. I do this through affirmations, smooches (if they are comfortable with me being in their space!) and lots of yummy treats!
