I’ve also worked with a professional trainer to help my dog overcome fears of loud sounds and unfamiliar environments while transitioning from suburban to city living. Through that experience, I developed strong skills in leash handling, positive reinforcement, and reading canine body language, which helps me keep walks calm, safe, and enjoyable. My background in occupational therapy has also made me patient, observant, and detail-oriented—qualities that help me quickly understand a dog’s comfort level and energy. I know it can feel stressful trusting someone new with your dog, which is why I focus on safe, structured walks, clear communication, and dependable care. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so both you and your dog feel comfortable before booking. I recently graduated with my Master’s in Occupational Therapy and am currently studying for my board exam, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. My dog and I spend a lot of time outdoors staying active, whether it’s long walks, neighborhood strolls, or getting some energy out with a run. I’m a longtime volunteer and foster parent with Muddy Paws Rescue, and I’ve spent the past 8+ years dedicating my time to animal welfare — from walking and sitting to helping dogs find their forever homes. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. I’ve fostered over 39 dogs and helped them find their forever home! I have extensive experience with both dogs and cats, and I bring a gentle, attentive approach to every pet I care for. I’m also the proud dad of two rescue chihuahuas, Rocky and Daisy — one of whom is a senior, and senior pups hold a special place in my heart. There’s nothing I love more than helping older dogs feel safe, loved, and pampered in their golden years. I use the earnings from Rover to pay for supplies and food for my foster pups through Muddy Paws. So I try to offer the lowest rates I can since I know how expensive pet care can be, being a pet parent myself. Whether your pet is playful or mellow, young or old, I’d be honored and it would be a privilege to care for them like one of my own. About: I’ve had a dog in my house pretty much my whole life, but since moving out of my parents house earlier this year I have missed that aspect. I love to walk, and I love dogs, it’s a perfect combo! I can promise you that in my care your pet will NEVER be bored :) I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I already go on multiple walks daily so having a dog with me would make them even more fun! I will follow your directions to a tee! I have a backyard area that’s fenced fenced in as well actually, it’s more of a children’s playground but dogs are out there all the time. But at the end of the day, it’s your pet and I will do exactly as I’m told!
