About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My household includes a Doberman Pinscher, a Great Dane, and two Maine Coon cats, so I'm comfortable managing everything from giant breeds and high-energy dogs to independent, affectionate cats. Living with a Doberman has given me experience with intelligent, active dogs that thrive on structure, exercise, and attention. My Great Dane has taught me the unique needs of giant breeds, including gentle handling, patience, and awareness of their size and comfort. My two Maine Coons have helped me develop an understanding of feline behavior, grooming needs, and creating a calm, enriching environment for cats. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I have the space and resources to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to their individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐕🐈 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As the owner of a Doberman Pinscher, a Great Dane, and two Maine Coon cats, my days are already structured around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I work with a flexible schedule that allows me to be present throughout the day for potty breaks, walks, supervised play, and check-ins. Pets in my care receive regular attention rather than being left alone for long periods. My large rooftop deck also provides a convenient space for supervised outdoor time and exercise between walks. I understand the importance of maintaining consistency, so I do my best to follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding times, medication schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions. Whether your pet is energetic and active or prefers a quieter environment, I can accommodate their individual needs and help them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. 🐾 Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax, play, and feel at home while you're away. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized large dogs—a Doberman Pinscher and a Great Dane—who are accustomed to being around other animals. I carefully manage introductions and always prioritize each pet's comfort level to ensure a positive experience for everyone. One of the highlights of my home is a spacious 1,600-square-foot private rooftop deck, providing plenty of room for supervised outdoor time, fresh air, play, and exercise. Pets are never left unattended outdoors, and all activities are monitored to maintain a safe environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand the trust involved in leaving your furry family member in someone else's care. I'll keep you updated with regular photos, videos, and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. 🐾

Alison was incredibly patient with my new rescue dog, Olive, who tends to need a bit of time to warm up to people. She took some time to give Olive some treats and get to know her prior to taking her out for the walk which was so appreciated! I am excited to have her take Olive on more walks.

Alex and Kate have been amazing! I’m new to Jersey City and finding a dog walker for my pups was at the top of my to do list when I got here. Alex and Kate have been so great! They took time to get to know my dogs at a meet and greet and were so patient with my timid guy. They have sent me pictures and let me know how the walks are going. They have also had great communication. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker!!

About: I’ve been working with dogs since 2015 and became a professional dog groomer in 2017, continuing in that role until 2020. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I’m dedicated to exploring every avenue to deepen that connection. I currently volunteer at the Newark Animal Shelter as a dog walker, and every moment spent with the animals there brings me joy. Whether your pet has paws or purrs, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring, capable hands. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos to keep you connected while you’re away. I’m experienced in administering medications—both oral and injectable—and always prioritize your pet’s health and comfort. Every dog and cat I care for is treated like family, with all the love, attention, and TLC they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the best care possible! Pet care is a natural part of my routine and something I truly enjoy. I’m busiest from Tuesdays through Thursdays, but I make sure to schedule pet care around those days so that each visit or stay gets my full attention. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or cuddles, I always carve out dedicated time to care for each pet like they’re my own. My beagle is a couch potato and will spend most of her day sleeping. My Jack Russell gets walks both in the morning and at night, and training during the day to keep her active. I will do the same for your pets, depending on your wants and the animal's needs!

About: Thank you for your interest in booking with me for your pet care needs 💜 I offer boarding for cats and dogs, daycare and drop-ins throughout the year. I do have specific requests prior to booking so please read below: IMPORTANT: THERE IS A 7 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY. IF YOU NEED TO MODIFY OR CANCEL A BOOKING PLEASE DO SO 7 DAYS BEFORE THE BOOKING STARTS. IT IS STATED ON THE REQUEST ON THE BOTTOM THAT THERE IS A 7 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY. I have this in place because when you book me I don’t reserve any other clients during the times you reserve me and so when I’m cancelled within 7 days I am often asked to waive the cancellation penalty and I cannot. This is put in place to compensate for the time and days I’m unable to book anyone else. 1. I DO NOT give discounts. My normal rate is $55 per 24 hours. My puppy and senior dog rate is $65 for 24 hours. And during holidays it increases by $10. 2. I DO NOT give discounts for long-term care. Rover takes a percentage of my earnings. 3. I offer pick up and drop off for a fee. The fee is a one-time fee and it covers both ways. Please add it to the request if you require that service. Thank you! 4. IMPORTANT: Please provide pick up and drop off times as accurate as possible. I normally make plans after a boarding is finished (whether it’s personal or another dog or cat is on the way). If you believe that your flight might be delayed or not sure at what time you’re going to be able to pick up your pet kindly set a pick up time that covers that timeframe accordingly. 5. I am open to meet and greets! Just let me know what times and days work for you and where you would like to meet and I’ll also check my planner. I DO NOT hold meet and greets in my home as requested by my landlord and neighbors. I can hold meet and greets outside my building however! 6. Please provide me with care instructions, allergies/medications, schedules etc. that way I may provide the best care possible for your pet 💜 7. Please disclose behaviors and/or behavioral issues. Does your dog have anxiety? Can he or she be left alone for at least two hours? Does your pet have a trigger or past trauma? Does your pet get into things in the home or during walks? Is your dog or cat aggressive? Do they get along with other animals, children, men? Safety is my number one priority when it comes to hosting pets for all parties involved 💜 8. Please provide all supplies that your pet will need during my care to make his or her stay comfy. I do have dog beds, bowls, toys etc but feel free to provide whatever you’d like. The one main thing I do not provide is food! Every doggy has their own dietary restrictions so to avoid issues with their tummies please provide what they eat at home. Thank you 😊 9. Let me know how many updates you’d like me to send you daily. That way it’s not underwhelming or overwhelming. Whatever works for you works for me! 10. Please provide an emergency contact and vet information in the event of any occurrence or just for backup. 11. If you request a service but do not wish to proceed please let me know within three days of submitting your request. My dates are immediately blocked when you make a request; therefore, no one else is able to book me if the request isn’t confirmed or archived and my profile immediately goes into “away mode” until the request has been answered. I kindly ask you for courtesy as this is my living, income. Thank you for your courtesy and understanding. After one day I will decline your request and if you wish to proceed at a later time then feel free to submit a new request. I cannot hold dates. 12. If you’d doggy has severe anxiety please let me know so we can determine if we are a good fit for your pet and their needs. While there is always someone at home, I do step out with my son 4 days a week to take him to his karate lessons in the late afternoon/early evening (depending on the day) for about one hour to one hour and a half (with commute). Thank you! Any questions feel free to include them in your request and I will answer everything for you. I thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope that I can be of assistance. Have a great day 💜 I provide three walks daily: morning, afternoon, evening before bedtime. We are home a good amount of time with the exception of my son’s extra curricular activities which normally take an hour to an hour and a half. All doors to the outside are closed at all times. Our building also has two doors to the entrance. For cats, we keep our windows especially closed. We also have a gate that separates the living room and the kitchen so when we are cooking and eating the gate is to keep the dog/s in the living room area in order to prevent them from eating anything that might fall on the ground. Dogs are truly easy to manage when it comes to safety as they tend to be obedient and I’m able to entertain them easily. However, with cats as we know get into everything, on everything and it’s much difficult to know what they do overnight since they are free spirits 🤪 Nonetheless, I do my best to ensure the safety of everyone, your pets and my family. Please read the Rover Guarantee for further details.
