Soul spends half his time in the countryside where he was trained off leash. Being in the city takes a little of adjusting when he gets back into the swing of things but Dona went out of her way to practice sitting and staying at cross walks and correcting him when he would pull on the leash. About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life. I had a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian Spitz of my own, and over the years neighbors, friends, and family have asked me to walk, feed, and look after their dogs. I’ve taken care of all kinds — from small fluffy ones to big energetic breeds. I just really like dogs and try to treat them the way I’d want someone to treat mine. I’m reliable, I don’t mind long walks, and I always send owners updates and photos so they know their dog is doing fine. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits while they’re at work, or staying overnight at their place, I’m happy to help out in Jersey City. I’m currently working part-time, so I have good flexibility during the day. I’m available for dog walks on weekdays in the morning and afternoon, and also on weekends. I can usually fit in walks between 9am and 6pm, and I’m happy to adjust if a regular client needs a specific time. When walking dogs, I always make sure they are secure on the leash and I pay close attention to their behavior and the surroundings. I follow the owner’s instructions about routes, other dogs, and any special needs. I’m calm and patient, and I do my best to give each dog a good, safe walk while keeping them happy and exercised. I also send photos and updates after the walk so owners know everything went well.
