“Michael is simply the greatest dog boarder in the history of the world. When you book through Michael, though, you don't just get him, you also get his amazing wife, too. Michael took care of my dog Lucas during a medical emergency. I was at work at the hospital after midnight. We were terribly low-staffed. There was no one to take over my patients. If I'd left work, I probably would have lost my license and been fired for abandonment. Michael took my dog to an emergency 24 hour vet and didn't get back home until like 2 in the morning. The care he took of my dog went above and beyond. He is awesome, he is amazing, he is smart and capable and caring, I cannot say enough good things about him. You can trust your fur babies with Michael. With him and his wife, they are in amazing hands. I have a big ol' gentle hound who is my whole world. I am a very active person and love getting to explore the neighborhood (that means with your dog too!). If my client already has a schedule they would prefer to adhere to, I will make sure to stick to it! I am versatile and flexible in ensuring that your pup/cat is well situated while they are under my care. I have baby proofed my house in the past for my own dogs and am very observant in taking precautionary measures to create a safe environment. As a fourth-year neuropsychology student, I spend most of my time studying at home and am only out a few hours a day for class or my internship. In My Home: Your pet will have a cozy, safe space where they can relax comfortably, especially if they prefer quiet or personal space. I provide structured routines with regular feeding, walks, and playtimes, always keeping an eye on their comfort and stress levels. Pets are allowed on the furniture. If you'd like your dog to be crated, please provide your own crate. In Clients’ Homes: I ensure each visit feels familiar and comforting for your pet, sticking to their routine as much as possible. I refresh food, water, and any bedding as needed, and provide companionship and plenty of play. My focus is on creating a seamless transition so your pet feels safe and secure while you’re away.

I've taken care of dogs, cats, and other small animals like rabbits, and guinea pigs for more than 10 years. When I was in Seattle, I volunteered at the Seattle Humane Society in my spare time, and was a foster parent. I always help my friends or my parents' friends to take care of their dogs and cats when they are away, and I received very positive feedback every time when they back. “Michael is simply the greatest dog boarder in the history of the world. When you book through Michael, though, you don't just get him, you also get his amazing wife, too. Michael took care of my dog Lucas during a medical emergency. I was at work at the hospital after midnight. We were terribly low-staffed. There was no one to take over my patients. If I'd left work, I probably would have lost my license and been fired for abandonment. Michael took my dog to an emergency 24 hour vet and didn't get back home until like 2 in the morning. The care he took of my dog went above and beyond. He is awesome, he is amazing, he is smart and capable and caring, I cannot say enough good things about him. About: I am a recent graduate of Catch Canine Trainers Academy and am open to giving feedback on training or behavior modification.If I have the solution, I am willing to do some training during my stay. We can discuss the details at the meet and greet. I love to walk and be around dogs. I have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer in Brooklyn and will always be ready with a treat and lots of pets for your pup. I have handled all types of dogs and am in this for the positive benefits of caring for dogs more than anything else. I don't do boardings, but the sitting clients that I have worked for have told me that I did a good job of respecting their home and whatever guidelines they told me to follow during the initial meet and greet.

I live one block off Gantry State Park for a nice long walks along the waterfront and a "woof top" in my building for dogs to run and play!
