I asked to meet and she agreed, it was an early meet. She was sweet and CoCo liked her, we chatted for a few but I already saw and read everything I needed to know in her profile and the pictures she has available. The hand off went smoothly, no issues. I am home all day and able to provide constant attention to the dogs in my care. I take frequent breaks throughout the day for walks, ensuring the dogs get plenty of exercise and fresh air. In addition to our daily walks, the dog run in my building is a perfect spot for quick play sessions. My flexible schedule means I'm always around to meet your dog's needs! In my two-bedroom apartment, there is plenty of space for your dog to feel at home. About: Hello! My name is Melissa. I am a lover of all animals and am hoping to add your furry family member to the list of pets that I’ve had the honor of meeting. I have grown up around cats and dogs my whole life and took this one step further by adopting my own kitty, Leo, after moving out of my parents house. He is basically my child and my philosophy with pet sitting is to provide the same care to your pet as I would for him. I have further experience with dogs as during college, I spent three years as a club member for a club that raised service dogs in training. My role in this club was being a sitter, meaning I would watch the pups (ranging from 10 weeks to 2 years old) while their raisers were away. I would spend this time practicing commands with them, walking them or taking them on playdates with other pups in the programs, or snuggle with them at my apartment. These times were some of my best memories of college. I also still help my parents when I go home to visit with my childhood dog, Charlotte. She is 15 years old, partially blind and deaf, and requires multiple oral medications daily as well as numerous potty breaks. I have additional oral/eye/ear medication experience as well as general medical knowledge through my day job as a pediatric nurse. Another cool fact is that during college, I briefly volunteered at a wild life refugee and got experience with horses, raccoons, deer, and other cool animals. Like I said- I’m a lover of all animals. I am hoping to offer my services as a way to be around more animals while respecting my cats’ wishes to not have another in the house. I would love to provide any additional details needed :) I will be working full time as a nurse but given that I only work 3 days a week I will have a lot of availability. The days I work do change each week but I will know in advance what days I will be working. I will do my best to earn an animal’s trust in a way that makes them comfortable, so that they feel safe in their own environment and trust me while I’m around. Whether that means an animal warms up to me right away or needs awhile along with some space before I come close to them, I can adapt to either scenario. I would also like to know about any general hiding places the animal may have when they get anxious so that if I am having trouble finding them, I know where to look. This would all be stuff I would like to communicate about with the owner ahead of time so I feel confident while sitting for their pet.

About: Hi! My name is Hallie, and I’m a certified animal lover. I grew up with some wonderful dogs and have been a proud cat mom for the last 10 years. I also worked as a dog walker/pet sitter for about six years at a reputable dog walking company in NYC. My time as a professional animal caretaker left me with a wealth of experience with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, ages, temperaments, and abilities, so whatever your animal’s unique needs are, I am prepared to provide them with the personalized love and care they deserve. About: I absolutely love dogs! Unfortunately I’ve lived in apts that don’t allow dogs so I love being able to pet sit and dog walk. The weather is getting so nice so I can’t wait to go on walks with your pets! Sundays & Mondays - anytime! “Ahmed and Michael are absolutely the best and Rambo can't wait to see them again. The best part of our vacation was knowing that our dog was enjoying his vacation too. They have a large place that easily accommodated multiple dogs and their backyard made it easier for Rambo and his new friends to run around and play off leash in a safe environment.
