About: I’m big on personalized, one-on-one care and giving each pet the attention they deserve. I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and observant of body language, so I try to understand each pet’s comfort level, energy, and routine rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Because my work is contract-based, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the week for pet care. I love animals, and as a dog parent myself, I’ve kept my availability open during times I know are especially helpful for other pet parents. I’ve built walks and drop-in visits into my routine and like to keep my schedule manageable so I can be reliable, attentive, and fully present with each pet. I know how important trust is when someone is coming into your home and caring for your pet. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to instructions, and very mindful of a pet’s body language and comfort level. I aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care so your pet feels safe and well looked after in their familiar environment. I make sure pets feel calm, comfortable, and secure by respecting their routines and giving them plenty of patience, attention, and love. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: Hi! I'm a big dog lover who enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and going on walks. I've been caring for dogs for over 12 years and have dog-sat for friends and family countless times over the years. I've cared for puppies as young as 3 months old and senior dogs, including my own 18-year-old dog. I'm also a proud aunt to two dogs! My best friend is a veterinarian, so I've picked up a lot of knowledge about dog care and behavior over the years as well. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. ❤️🐾 I have a hybrid work schedule so I’ll be able to fit in your pup needs through out the day when working from home! Maintaining your dogs regular scheduled routine and providing a safe and loving environment are my main priorities! I make sure collars and harnesses are triple checked before walks, keep owners up to date with photos and give your dog my full attention during playtime, walks and care. My goal is to make sure your pup feel just as comfortable, happy and loved while you’re away!🐶

About: I feel as though i have an ability to communicate with animals in ways I cannot communicate with humans. I believe all dogs are gifts from god and we are fortunate to experience their unconditional love. I currently work from home, which allows for a very open schedule, and affords me a lot of freedom when necessary. I can also adapt my current situation to make special accommodations. we have a fenced in yard, I also have a county park located at the end of my street, which also has several dog parks included within it.

“This was my first time using Rover or any dog walking service, let alone have anyone aside from myself, dad, or brother take care of my pup. And I have ZERO regrets. My dad was supposed to stay with my dog for the long weekend I was away, but last minute he couldn’t and I needed a plan B. I came to Rover to see if I could find a solution and I did- Peter! My pup is very lovable but also not easy, and many are too scared or just don’t want to deal with him. Because of that, I wanted to do a meet and greet first, which Peter happily agreed to. After just one visit, I knew that not only could he handle my dog and he would be well-taken care of, but knew they both were about to become buds. I was able to go away and not have any worries, especially since Peter gave very thorough recaps of his visits and pictures. Needless to say, my heart and mind were put at ease and I can’t think him enough for that. I will definitely be utilizing his services in the future and I know Thor will not mind at all.”

About: Started my pet care career in 2018 at a local dog walking/training company in NJ. Ever since then I've gained the knowledge, experience, and most importantly the trust from dogs and their owners. I am excited to continue improving my skills in pet care. I love to go on long walks already so being able to share that with a dog or 2 makes it even better. It has such a great impact on my physical and mental health. I would typically try to have a few walks throughout the week. I have a medium size dog crate as part of the on-boarding training to help them learn boundaries and create a safe place for everyone. Depending on the environment and tendencies of the pup, I always keep an eye out for anything they could eat off the floor or make sure they don't chew on anything they shouldn't.
