“Kelly is the absolute best. This was our first time on Rover, and her communications were clear and quick, and she did great work reassuring us that our pup was in good hands. Loved the photographs, and really appreciated the time she took to communicate with us by phone and by text. We’re only slightly concerned that our pup now likes her more than us! 😀 Hugely impressed with Kelly - she’ll take fab care of your pups.”

About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

11. Karyna C.
About: I have always loved animals and this is the pastime that gives me real pleasure. I want to open my own shelter for homeless animals in the future. All my friends who have animals always contact me if they need to leave. Everyone knows that animal care will be a priority for me and I will not let them down. I have no professional training skills. I live with my boyfriend, we both adore all animals since childhood. I’m currently working part-time in Brooklyn, so I’ll have a time for your pet’s care. Usually I have a time on weekdays as Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and sometimes on Saturday till Sunday But every week I have different free time We don’t have a yard but I can go for a walk 2 hours in the evening and 2 hours in the morning with your pet. I will stick to your recommendations for the care of your pet!

12. Geraldine H.
“Geraldine most recently house-sat Zizi, our golden retriever, for 5 days when my husband and I went to Mexico on a much-needed vacation. Zizi adores Lai-Yee, so I have no qualms about going away for a few days because Zizi is so happy having Lai-Yee to play frisbee, run, walk and snuggle with. Lai-Yee kept me updated with pictures and comments and kept the house clean and tidy, which was a pleasure to return to after travelling. Lai-Yee is a natural with animals. She loves them and they love her!”

13. Skylar E.

“This is my first experience with Rover. I’m glad I picked Skylar. She paid attention to my skittish cats’ behavior and try to give me some recommendations. She updated me with many photos.”

14. Margarie M.
“Margarie is a very responsible young lady. She has always understand pets and helped them the best she can. She the type of person that would rather be around pets then more. Her dream since little is to work with animals she has always wanted to help the homeless animals out there but was to little for that. She very kind.”

15. Leanne L.

“Leanne was great with Subie! She’s a very accommodating sitter. Thanks Leanne!”

16. George D.
“I highly recommend George for pet care! George has been taking care of my mini dachshund for about five years, and we could not be happier. George is incredibly responsible, reliable, and communicative. What separates George from others is his genuine love for and attention to the dogs in his care. George treats my mini dachshund like family, sending me updates and photos to show how much fun they have together. George responds well to my dog's needs and has been a tremendous help with training. I know when I leave my dog with George, he is in loving and caring hands. Thanks George!”

17. Esneda L.
“Esneda is a very loving and kind person and also very patient. I know her since we were little and she has always loved animals and has protected them if she has the chance. She has 3 dogs and 1 cat that she has adopted and rescued so that also talks a lot about her. She has taken care of my 2 dogs that are pinschers and my cat and has taken very good care of them, I can totally trust her with my pets and I give my sincere testimony that she is a great caregiver, you won’t regret anything.”

18. Victoria M.
“I have known Victoria for around 6 years now and she watches my dog who has neurological issues and sometimes is a lot to work with. Victoria is one of the most passionate and caring people I have ever came across. She really does have a passion with dogs and animals and really understands them and if she doesn't she will research it until she does. Myself and a few others refer to her as the “dog whisperer” because she does so well with them and has so much knowledge on them as well. She would really provide a safe and loving environment to any dog she is watching or letting into her home. My dog cant be left alone without someone understanding he has to be watched and taken care of all the time and can rarely be left alone. Victoria is one of the few who truly understands this and provides the best possible environment anyone could with a dog that needs a little more than others. She is the best in my opinion for this job.”

19. Marisa K.
“I've known Marisa for two decades. She's an experienced caregiver and owner whose life revolves around the well-being of her pets. Her dog was always happy and healthy and impressively trained and obedient. He was pampered with the best food, toys and care. I'd have zero qualms leaving my pet in her hands.”

20. Jeremy C.
“Jeremy has been an animal lover since he was a child. He has years of experience caring for dogs, cats & many exotics animals such as rabbits, birds, & reptiles. Jeremy is a respectful and nurturing individual who takes care of all animals as if they were his own. If you want to enjoy your vacation without having to worry if your furry babies were taken care of then choose Jeremy as your next sitter!”
