About: As someone who has had many fur babies, I understand how hard it can be to leave them! My goal is to make that experience less stressful and ensure that you are stress free while away. I have had extensive experience caring for animals ranging from dogs and cats to reptiles, amphibians, fish, guinea pigs, mice, rats and hamsters. I currently have a cat and guinea pigs but have had all of the prior listed animals at one point or another. I am comfortable doing care for special needs animals and don’t mind the extra time that they need. I am available on short notice and during some odd hours due to grad school. I am a current grad student so I have flexible timing as well as last minute availability. I am available most weekdays after 3pm and anytime on the weekends. Given my experience with many pets, I know how to safely handle many species as well as care for cats and dogs. I have two of my own — a 15 year old dachshund (that lives with my mom) and a 5-year-old pitbull and an outdoor Bombay cat, that stay with me. My pitbull struggles with anxiety and can be destructive, so I understand the patience, structure, and consistency it takes to care for dogs that may need a little extra attention. Beyond my own pets, I’ve cared for a variety of households: * Pet sitting for 4 Yorkies at once for a week * Managing 2 senior dogs and 2 cats in one home * Drop-in visits for dogs needing company throughout the day * And more.. My work schedule is Mon & Friday 9am-5:30pm working from home. Depending on the distance I can provide walks/visits during my lunch break from 12pm-1pm and any time after 5:30. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats throughout my entire life whether it was for working families, friends and neighbors in NJ! For a few years, I used to volunteer at the local animal shelter where I’d help bathe kittens, take their dogs outside and play with our furry friends seeking homes. Being around younger or older pets for years has allowed me to pick up signs and stay calm if accidents happen, whether your pet missed the litter box or regurgitated their meal. I’m always glad to help out where and when I can! I mostly work from home where I have a bit more control over my schedule. Early mornings or late evenings are always flexible! If I receive enough notice, I’m glad to accommodate your pets needs throughout the day on any weekday or weekends as well! I have prior experience being with a wide range of larger outdoor pets and smaller indoor pets who are cage trained or not. I’m glad to keep them company, spend time with their favorite toys and make sure they’re cleaned up after! From previous experience, I have a keen eye on a pets body language and can get a sense if some may need more space than others. However, I’ll always be accommodating if some pets need to let their energy out more than others! Similar to my own cat, on a daily basis, I make sure to set aside 30 minutes of play time with them in the day time and the evening to lessen the “zoomies”!

About: ***I recently lost my soul dog, Ace ,of 17 years, so currently there are no other animals in my home. Please note: I go by Liora as a nickname in my day to day, but Emma is my legal name, hence why you’ll see both names in the reviews. I have always been an avid animal lover, but dogs are my favorite! In middle school I would go around door to door asking my neighbors that had dogs if I could walk them, in high school and college I would volunteer at animals shelters every weekend. I recently lost my soul dog of 17 years, Ace. I had him since he was 8 weeks old, and trained him with all the commands as well as potty training. I miss him dearly, but that being said - I can handle taking care of puppies, adults, and senior dogs alike, and am comfortable administering medication when needed. I work from home, so your pet will always have a buddy throughout the day and human interaction, and will rarely be alone. Evening and weekends will be reserved for parks and lots of play time! I have a small back yard space and a few great parks nearby just a few minutes away from my apartment. I can also crate your dog if needed / if they prefer. I also have cameras set up at home should I need to step out, they will always be monitored.
