About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and I find so much joy in it. I’ve had a cocker spaniel for my entire life and love to be in the presence of them! Im currently working as a freelance designer remotely so I will have plenty of time to take care and play with your pups. I am available for overnight boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm. I live in an apartment complex but there is plenty of space to walk the pups as needed outside as well as a dog park in the complex.

About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. She is a secure dog and adaptable to any environment. I believe my dog’s calm and friendly demeanor is a direct reflection of my skills. I’m prepared to handle dogs across the spectrum of sizes and energy levels. I live close to many beautiful parks and trails, some with dedicated areas for dog-play. I will closely follow any instructions you have for feeding, exercising, sleeping and socializing your precious pet. I work part-time from home and set my own schedule so I am able to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to your pet easily. I will treat your pet like part of my family if they stay with me. I have a very calming presence that animals seem to react really well too. I am happy to watch your pet at your place if that works best. I provide an engaging, safe environment no matter the location.

This was my first time using the Rover app and I am very protective of my pup so I was apprehensive but also needed a place for him to go for the day since I just got off a long night shift and needed to sleep. Claudia was able to accommodate me last minute and also answered all my questions which immediately put me at ease. When I dropped him off, I had a feeling he would be in good hands. Claudia sent regular video and picture updates through the day which was much appreciated. When I picked him up, I could tell he had a fun day and that she treated my boy as if he was her own.
