About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

I request a meet and greet before accepting to take care of your pet at your home to align on expectations. In this meet and greet, we would review your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medication schedules, and behavioral quirks. Also discuss home access, safety measures, and disclosing security cameras or household staff who may come by during the visit. For house-sitting, I will ensure consistent communication by sending 2-3 updates per day with photos and summaries of how your pet ate, their bathroom habits, and how they behaved. I will also treat your residence with respect.

About: I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and patient looking after your pets, and I always try to give them lots of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual needs. I currently offer drop-in visits, evening house sitting, and walks. I know every pet has their own personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a senior dog of my own who has a special diet and is partially blind, so I understand the extra patience and attention some pets may need. During walks, I keep her close to me, help guide her safely up and down stairs, and carry her when needed. I also administer her eye drops daily and make sure she stays comfortable and relaxed. Caring for her has taught me how important gentle, attentive care is, especially for senior pets or pets with special needs. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I’m currently available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends for Over night House sitting, drop in visits for both cats and dogs, and dog walking! Visits include feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks and playtime! I’m happy to help keep up with your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed in their own home. Growing up around dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments helped me develop a deep love and understanding for them. While I love all animals, dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. I have worked at two dog daycare/kennel facilities and have over three years of experience supervising anywhere from 40–100 dogs per day. My responsibilities included monitoring group play and ensuring safe behavior between dogs, bathing, scheduled walks, feeding, administering medication when needed, cleaning, and getting to know each dog’s unique personality to help them feel comfortable and cared for. Most importantly, I truly enjoy creating a fun, safe, and loving environment for every pup. Whether your dog enjoys short walks, long active days, or a more relaxed routine, I’m happy to provide personalized care based on their individual needs. I’m not in school and I currently have a lot of free time and would love to get to meet you and your pup! 😊 I have only dog sat a few times but the times I have watched my relatives/friends dogs, I would ensure I’m sticking within the normal routine and instructions provided to me. Making sure the pups aren’t getting into anything they aren’t supposed to, and getting the proper time for exercise. With my dogs, I have a 12 year old senior pittie Rocko and he is deaf so I keep a very close eye on him and make sure he is getting the proper amount of exercise. He loves his walks. We also had to develop a form of sign language in order to communicate with him but most the time he’s always cuddling or laying by someone. My shorkie and maltese are farrrr different 😂 they are high energy especially Leo (the shorkie) he LOOOVES to play and could play for hours!! So I’m always playing fetch with him and Prince (maltese)
