About: I grew up surrounded by animals in Portugal, and my family had Serra da Estrela Mountain Dogs, two German Shepherds and a cat. Living with large guardian breeds taught me how to read a dog's mood, respect their space and stay calm when they're alert or excited. I'm comfortable with big, strong dogs, and with cats too. I also spent two years as an au pair in the US and often work with children, so I'm used to patience, routines and things not going to plan. I'm based in Montclair and available for walks, drop-in visits and house sitting. work part time I have free the most of the days from 9am to 4 pm, and after 8 pm so I have flexible hours during the day for walks and playtime. I'm also available on weekends, including overnight stays. Tell me your dog's routine and I'll fit around it adapt to your dog and your home. We'll agree on the schedule, feeding and any special needs beforehand, and I follow your instructions closely. If anything feels off, I'll contact you right away.

About: I’ve owned a pekingese mixed with pug for 10+ years and a blue nose pit bull for 5+ years. I’ve cared for the dogs of family members in the past and for friends of the family. I find dogs enjoyable to be around, for I have been around them all my life. I am available all day, everyday, so anytime of the day would work. I have a large amount of patience, and I am willing to take longer walks to ensure that my duties have been fulfilled. I take pride in my work and you should expect nothing but the results you expect, if not anything better. Dogs have always been fascinating and fun to me, and making a little extra money taking care of them would be a pleasure for me. I’m currently doing part time freelance work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I can do whatever service is needed aside from pets being boarded at my residence unfortunately. I tend to keep a close eye on pets unless instructed otherwise and likely to stay interactive with them to build a relationship. I've done boarding in client's homes as well as for pets with special needs, and I'm always willing to grow and learn to accommodate as many people as possible.

About: I’ve always loved animals and i believe this love translates in the love and care that i have given to my bestfriend’s furry one. I’ve taken care of my bestfriend’s dog for 3 years; I’ve loved him the very moment i saw him. He is family and I would do anything for him. I work from home full time; i have the time and flexibility to care and love on your furry ones. I live right next to the park so talking them on a walk won’t be a hassle. I’m pretty much home all the time and i would love the company of your furry ones! I have bowls and pee pads in my apartment for your furry ones to be comfortable. I love cuddles and playtime and walks. Dogs are extensions of family in my opinion, so i believe that they should have the best of whatever I’m having.

“We have had many pet sitters over the years, and Nima stands out as one of the best. She is very friendly, considerate, and kind, both with us and with our puppy, Olivia. Nima sent us daily photos and videos with a quick update on how everything was going. Olivia is a very picky eater, but somehow Nima got her to eat every meal! Nima left our house clean and tidy. She was on time and communicative about arrival & departure and about when she needed to leave the house while caring for Olivia. I highly recommend her for pop-in visits with your pet or overnight stays.”

About: I have experience caring for senior dogs, young and energetic dogs, cats, and reptiles. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health with a concentration in Small Animals in 2024. My professional animal-care background has taught me to provide patient, compassionate, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I am available Mondays from 4–8 PM and Fridays from 11 AM–4 PM. Fridays offer my most availability, allowing me to provide attentive care and make sure your pets’ needs are fully met. I’m unable to host pets in my home, but I can travel to your home. I provide individualized care based on each pet’s unique needs, personality, routine, enrichment preferences, and exercise requirements.

About: I’ve taken care of my 70 pound labradoodle along with my family for 13 years, house sat for dogs, and walked neighborhood dogs whilst away at college. I have a patient, calm yet firm approach and enjoy the company of dogs big and small! I’m currently working part-time and have fairly flexible availability for check-ins and potty breaks—just ask! I am also available for house sitting on the weekends; however, I would prefer a week’s notice. I love to play! Whether it’s using toys or simply cuddling/petting, I believe dogs deserve the love and attention that they give to us. About: I am available both mornings and afternoons so I will be able to provide the care your pets need no matter the time! I have had lots of experience with many pets over the past seven years, dog walking for my neighbors, fostering dogs until they find a good home, I have taken care of old dogs who need medicine and I will be able to help as long as you show me how your dog likes/needs to take their pills or medication. I have two cats and a dog of my own so I understand that dogs need frequent walks and sometimes cats need company even if it just means sitting in the room with them. I have also had experience with birds as well. I am usually available to stay for a while with a lonely pet and I can wait for them to finish a meal and/or play with them! My schedule is a little bit tighter during the week and I am not available mornings after 8am on Monday-Thursday because I will be taking classes but if you have a time in mind I will try my best to match that time and get there as close as I can to whenever you need! My Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are busier but I will still have time in the afternoon after 5:30 and the rest of the week I’m more flexible and can give more details about my schedule if you’re interested! I often spend days at home relaxing with my cats and playing with them. I am patient with animals who don’t quite know me yet and I understand that for some pets it takes time. Sometimes one of my cats is a little skittish but after a few minutes of playing she warms up and loves to be pet, my other cat loves cuddles and is constantly ready to play. When I take care of my dogs I take them out for walks multiple times a day, I help prepare their meals (they have special diets), and am always willing to play with them. I am willing to do whatever I can for your pet to make them feel safe and happy!

About: I've grown up around MANY cats and a dog most of my life. I’ve also helped out my family and friends were taking care of their fur babies when they’re on vacation. I currently work a 9 to 5 but I am available before or after that time. I can also stop by in the middle of the day. I’m also completely free on weekends! I live alone now, but I grew up living with anywhere from 3 to 9 cats, 1 dog, 2 birds who are rescues that (as you can imagine) have very different personalities. We had a set routine for them which I believe gave them enough stability and consistency to let them flourish and be comfortable in the spaces we shared. My family and I made it a priority to keep our cats healthy, happy, and well taken care of.
