“Kate spent two weeks with our 17 year old cat, Hunter. For the first four nights she also cared for our 5 year old Labrador retriever, Orli. Kate provided daily updates & great photos. It was obvious from the photos that both Hunter & Orli were comfortable and relaxed with Kate. Kate had no problem giving Hunter his twice daily insulin injections & keeping him on his feeding/meds schedule. It’s a comfort to know your fur babies are well cared for when you are away. We will definitely book Kate again to care for Hunter & Orli!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every size (small, medium, large) and household cats! Love to teach (or at least try to teach) your pups new tricks when you're away. I work at U of M Hospital, so I will have time to hang out with your animals most days of the week (mornings, evenings, nights) and weekends! “We recently met and hired Danuta to overnight sit for our pets for several days. Each day we received updates and pictures throughout the day to let us know how our babies were doing. It was so reassuring to know that they were happy and content while we were gone. She took them outside very often to play fetch and for exercise. Our pets bonded with Danuta very fast. Danuta followed all of our instructions and she asked questions if needed. We returned to a very happy house of pets and our house was nice and clean just the way we left it. About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.
