About: I have had dogs all my life, I am caring, compassionate, and will treat them as one of my own. I understand the stress you may have to leaving your puppy behind. I will make sure they’re well taken care of, and feel comfortable and baby and spoil them. I am a teacher and I am home early and can provide late afternoon and evening Walks. For dogs that are comfortable staying home alone. I am available all during the week I can give them a walk in the morning and then again late afternoon. I am free on weekends. I have a large fenced in yard that your dog is welcome to run and play in. I have my own little Chihuahua Yorkie mix, so your dog must be friendly. I have a large fenced in yard to provide lots of outdoor and playtime. I have my own small dog who is friendly. your dog will be allowed to roam throughout my house or if they need more restraints, I have a room with a doggie gate that they can stay in. They will be allowed on furniture.

“I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. I came to her with a little bit of an odd request—more like an evening of babysitting our pup than a traditional dog sit. Happy is 5 months old and full of energy. And also still learning how to behave in someone else’s house. We were staying with our daughter and her family so we could attend a family wedding in a different city than where we live. I looked on Rover and found this woman with years of experience as a certified dog sitter, who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought she would not be overwhelmed by a 5-month-old golden retriever pup. We chatted for about an hour to make sure we both felt comfortable and then I booked the appointment. Shannon even came to my daughter’s house the day before the wedding just to meet Happy and give me a chance to share any additional details. Then on the day of the wedding, she came right on time and gracefully managed our pup (walks, potty breaks, dinner, playing with our very young grandkids , settling for the night), which enabled our son-in-law to manage our two grandchildren without any additional complications. Her skill and kindness with Happy made the whole evening stress-free for all of us. It was a dream dog sit. About: My fiancé, Shandy, and I are extremely playful and caring people. We have had pets since a young age and know how to manage pets with social anxiety, rescued animals, animals with need of medication, etc. During our 2018 summer, my fiancé was interning at a Veterinarian clinic and her job was to feed, play, and inject/give animals their medication. If you need a pet sitter than let us know and if we’re available we will be able to give him/her the attention they need. My fiancé and I both work. Shandy works part-time so she will mostly be available but I work full-time 3-4 days a week so that’s why we work on this together. We will respect what is okay or not okay depending on each owner’s pets. For example, we can take them to dog parks if they get along with other dogs or if they don’t like being walked and only wee wee pad trained we will pick up after them.

About: Hello, I’m a 27 year old who has loved animals their entire life. Currently I don’t have any pets but while I was younger my family always had animals in the house. I’ve had the pleasure of growing up around dogs and cats. When I moved away from home I started pet sitting for family friends and neighbors. I have pet sat cats, dogs, even a parrot and a snake. About: I’ve taken care of bigger dogs like mastiffs, greyhounds, and many more. With also maintain strong connections with not only the dogs but the caretakers of these pets. In stressful situations I remain calm and can handle shy or reactive dogs. I’m willing to take dogs on hikes the park or exciting adventures. I’m currently a full time student in New Jersey but I’m constantly back in the city of Washington, D.C. At night I have the most free time during the beginning of the weekdays but towards the weekend my schedule free’s up for any time. I pay very close attention to the pets movement, and signs that it might need sorry or something may be wrong. In both my home and clients home I would apply this as well as on walks.
