“Sherry Lee did an amazing job. She stayed in our home over the holiday weekend and cared for Archie our two year old Cockapoo. She updated us constantly, sent photos and videos, and it was obvious how relaxed he was in his own routine even though we were away. We felt so comfortable and are already looking at additional dates for Sherrylynne to come stay and watch Archie. We highly recommend hiring Sherry Lynne to stay in your home and pet sit your furry friends.”

About: I’ve loved animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. I knew as I grew up I wanted to go somewhere with it, I began by offering my services to neighbours and family friends and now like to branch out and help others with their animals. I am good with dealing with dogs that are anxious or just need a little extra care. I would say a skill of mine is being very attentive to their needs and behaviour. I am available most days to do drop ins or walks. I do have a part-time job, the days I work I mark as not available in the Rover calendar, but usually I can make things work. I’m quite a flexible person and I appreciate flexibility from pet parents. My biggest priority are making sure the pets are happy and safe always. I will follow any boundaries in homes I am staying at. If you are crate or leash training that is perfectly okay with me. I will always make sure to know where the dogs are at all times as well. When I am overnight/day sitting I prefer to stay with the animals most of the time

“Emily came to our hotel to watch our pups while we spent a full day sightseeing. It was a load off our mind knowing they had company and were able to go for walk. She did a wonderful job and sent pictures throughout the day. I would highly recommend Emily!”

“Left our three musketeer pups for the weekend, 2 of which are senior and one that requires a bit of extra assistance. We got the cutest and most detailed updates of our pups, and could tell how well taken care of they were while we were gone. Can’t wait to have Stephanie watch and walk our fur babies again next time!”

“Friendly. Responsible. Reliable. Caring. A great find for my fur baby.”

About: Hey there I'm Steven! Thanks for considering me to look after your dogs/cats! Animal care is my passion and my calling. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I have years of professional experience working at different doggie daycares and also spent one year as a veterinary assistant. I am currently in the process of studying for the Certification for Professional Dog Trainers exam so if you're interested in some basic obedience/behavior modification/clicker training services please feel free to ask during our meet & greet! I currently work full time Monday-Friday except on holidays. I work very early in the morning until 6 or 7 at night so unfortunately I can only provide pet care services through rover on the weekends at this time. I use what's known as the LIMA(least intrusive, minimally aversive) approach to animal care. I prefer to celebrate an animals success' rather than focusing on their mistakes. I use praise, OFTEN. Your furry family member will hear me tell them how good they are A LOT!

“Jestine was on time, friendly, personable, paid attention, asked great questions, and was generally a joy to work with. Our 70lb. Rottsky has Separation Anxiety and can be a handful, but Jestine was awesome with him. We hired her to house sit the dog, but she also calmed our anxieties about leaving him alone! It's always a bit odd to have a relative stranger in your home, but after just a few minutes chatting, our fears melted away. We look forward to welcoming her back again!”

“Anya and El are so very kind and caring. They took excellent care of house sitting and caring for our puppy. They followed our directions and went beyond to enrich our puppy’s world, taking her to dog parks, on hikes, to Petco and lots of walks. They consulted and were generous with their time. They even bought treats and a recommended collar. We highly recommend them!”

About: Let me just preface this— I am a true cat lady. Salesmen know how to work a room of people… I know how to work a room of cats. (=^.^=) Animals have been a part of my life since I was born. Pet birds free to fly around the home, our cats and dogs coexisting peacefully amongst them, bird feeders scattered around the yard, and joining my mother on her dog-walking jobs when I was 8 years old. Pet care has been engrained in my spirit. Naturally, from a young age, I became the girl who friends and family would ask to watch their pets, both dogs and cats. I still do to this day. In college, I started working for a local pet-sitting business here in North Jersey, doing both daily dog walks and vacation cat-sitting where I gained most of my professional experience in this field. Then I started picking up my own clients on the side for cat sitting. While I do have that dog-sitting experience, I would say I specialize in bonding with and taking care of felines most of all! I have experience with all types of breeds; Persian (owned a few myself), Abyssinian, Sphinx, Maine Coons, Siamese, and most of all, trusty old tabbies and Domestic Shorthairs. I truly love spending time with all types of cats and it shows in the bonds and connections I form with them! I'm currently a High School English teacher, so until June 24th, I can only do visits after 4pm and any time on the weekends. After June 24th, my schedule is wide open. DROP-INS— I am clean, respectful, and detail oriented when coming into your home. I make sure to follow all instructions thoroughly, and use my judgement to the best of my ability. I triple-check that I have done everything correctly, and place all of my attention on your furbabies for the time that I am in your home! BOARDING-- you are welcome to request boarding with me. These will be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on how large your dog is, what their needs are, and the length of stay. I live in a spacious apartment with one high-energy cat who enjoys being around dogs. I also live adjacent to a park and the South Mountain Reservation, so you can expect your dog to get lots of exercise! HOUSESITTING— I also do housesitting during the summer! I cannot housesit during the school year as I work full-time (September-Late June).

“Gianna was fantastic with our senior pup, Lily. She was happy, healthy, and well fed when we got home. Our house was clean, and everything was in order. Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart is my ability to be both caring and dependable in moments that require real attentiveness—something I’ve developed through years of working in community programs, internships, and leadership roles. Whether I was leading a team project, supporting a friend, or organizing events through my cycling club, I’ve always been someone who shows up fully and handles responsibility with care. I bring that same energy to pet care—tuning into each animal’s needs, whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy or being patient with a senior pet. I’m calm, communicative, and take pride in making both pets and their owners feel secure and understood. As a recent grad preparing for law school and transitioning into the workforce, my schedule is relatively flexible—especially during the weekdays. Pet care has been a grounding and fulfilling part of my routine. It gives me the chance to stay active, present, and connected in a meaningful way while balancing studying and professional goals. I genuinely enjoy the rhythm of it, and I treat every booking with the same level of care and responsibility I bring to my academic and work commitments. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I love making sure everyone—pets and people—feels comfortable, safe, and at ease. That’s something I’ve really practiced through leading Catching Wind, the cycling and wellness club I started in college. Creating a space where people felt welcomed, supported, and looked after—whether they were riding for the first time or just needed community—taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and how to care for different needs. I bring that same approach to pet care. I listen closely, follow instructions, respect your space, and aim to create an environment where your pet feels loved, relaxed, and understood.

“Jon was great. I had to schedule last minute and he took great care of my dog. Sent photos making me feel comfortable while I was away. I’ll definitely work with him again.”

“Christian really did an excellent job pet sitting for us. He was kind and professional. He stayed in touch while I was away with updates and he took excellent care of my house. He sat for my pet in my home. I would definitely work with him again when I am away.”

About: I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals but and small. Multiple dogs of my own with different temperaments, ages, and medical needs, as well as lots of experience pet sitting, all giving me lots of knowledge and insight about how to best care for your fur babies. It’s hard to be away from them so I’m here to provide the best care I can while you’re gone. I have plenty of availability weekdays and weekends for your pets. As many hours a day/night as you would like I would love to provide. Apartment or house, yard or no yard, your pets are safe with me. I am used to walking my own 100lb dog on leash, as well as doing safety checks on gates and doors to assure security. I’m very detail oriented and follow directions well, so it’s totally up to you how you prefer they be taken out, fed, played with, etc.

“CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. She was so kind, attentive, and loving to our pup. She messaged us multiple updates and photos throughout the day and I know our boy had a wonderful time. I will definitely utilize Gabrielle services again in the future!”

“Dylan looked after Otis and provided me with frequent updates. She sat Otis in our house while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend Dylan!”

About: My pet care experience involves all animals as I’ve spent years working as a veterinary technician before entering vet school. I grew up fostering cats (elderly, kittens, disabled- all kinds you name it) and dogs as well. I am currently home from school for the summer, but at school I live with my roommates 5 cats. At home in New Jersey I have a pitty named Kayla and 8 cats as well as many fosters (my mom runs the animal rescue program in my town). All of my cats live inside at home. As for dogs I do not have any here at my apartment but any dog boarding they would stay in my room with me and go for as many walks a day as their owner would like.

“Alissa was amazing! She kept in contact with us daily and was open to extending her stay and in helping out at the drop of a hat when we needed her for an unexpected overnight trip. We’ve got a crazy bunch (2 dogs, cat and bearded dragon) and she was up to the challenge and especially patient walking our handicapped older dog. I highly recommend her to take the upmost care of your pets.”
