I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. I came to her with a little bit of an odd request—more like an evening of babysitting our pup than a traditional dog sit. Happy is 5 months old and full of energy. And also still learning how to behave in someone else’s house. We were staying with our daughter and her family so we could attend a family wedding in a different city than where we live. I looked on Rover and found this woman with years of experience as a certified dog sitter, who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought she would not be overwhelmed by a 5-month-old golden retriever pup. Holy moly! I can’t brag about Safiya enough! From start to finish the communication was nothing short of incredible. She cared for my baby like he was her own. She cared for my home like she lived here. I feel like a found a member of the family not a sitter. Hands down, the best caretaker for anyone you love. Chris did an amazing job watching our dog Gobi and we will definitely have him watch him again in the future! He has a very calm, comforting demeanor which helped our nervous guy feel safe. But he also loved playing with him and tired him out nicely for us! He went above and beyond by taking him out for 3 extra walks and even brought one of our packages inside the house.
