20. John Rex L.
About: I grew up in the Philippines, and since I was 3, I grew up with stray dogs that my family took in and I took care of them, fed them, played with them, but most importantly, I understood them. Since they were strays, they did get aggressive occasionally, but I knew it wasn’t out of malice; rather, they were just scared. So, from a young age, I was able to understand dogs and be patient with them in a way where they felt the most comfortable, and still show them the care they needed. To this day, I haven’t changed, and I never will. Regardless of whether I’m staying and watching your dog or if I’m walking them, my main priority will always be to ensure that your dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I am so excited to be able to work with you and meet your dogs and ensure they get everything they need from me, including administering medication. I’ll always make sure to communicate with you before and after the walk, and if I notice that something’s up, you’re the first to know. I’m very attentive, and if your dog is uncomfortable with something, I’ll know. But at the end of the day, just remember that dogs have nothing but love to give. All I want to do is give back the love I receive from them. It fits into my daily routine as I actually already have a job as a dog walker for Lando’s Pet Care. Dog walking is something I regularly do. Aside from that, I’m a student at Seton Hall University majoring in biology/pre-med. My schedule will change in early January due to the spring semester, and I am not available from December 21 to January 12 since I go back home for Christmas Break. As of right now, my schedule is: Monday - Thursday: N/A Friday - Sunday: 2:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. I currently in an apartment and I have no pets here, nor am I allowed to have any pets here, so I unfortunately cannot take in any pets to my apartment. However, I can stay at your house and take care of them. Wherever they go, I go; I’ll ensure the dog doesn’t go out of my sight and I’ll monitor them to ensure they don’t do anything they shouldn’t be doing. But I also don’t want them to just be bored! I’ll interact with them and engage, play with them, give them a little bit of fun every now and then to keep your dog happy! But no matter what I’m doing, my full attention is towards your dog, always.
