Such a relief to know that they were content & well taken care of while we were away for an extended period of time, especially since they are not always in good spirits after a trip! About: Im the go to pet-sitter when my friends or family goes on vacation. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little . I currently have my one pup at home and I know how it feels to leave them alone. I treat any pup like they are my own and will give them all the care they need . I am currently a part time college student. When I have free time I am available to take care of your dogs, take them on walks and play with them . My house I fully fenced. About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. She is a secure dog and adaptable to any environment. I believe my dog’s calm and friendly demeanor is a direct reflection of my skills. I’m prepared to handle dogs across the spectrum of sizes and energy levels. I live close to many beautiful parks and trails, some with dedicated areas for dog-play. I will closely follow any instructions you have for feeding, exercising, sleeping and socializing your precious pet. I work part-time from home and set my own schedule so I am able to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to your pet easily. I will treat your pet like part of my family if they stay with me. I have a very calming presence that animals seem to react really well too. I am happy to watch your pet at your place if that works best. I provide an engaging, safe environment no matter the location.

About: I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and patient looking after your pets, and I always try to give them lots of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual needs. I currently offer drop-in visits, evening house sitting, and walks. I know every pet has their own personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a senior dog of my own who has a special diet and is partially blind, so I understand the extra patience and attention some pets may need. During walks, I keep her close to me, help guide her safely up and down stairs, and carry her when needed. I also administer her eye drops daily and make sure she stays comfortable and relaxed. Caring for her has taught me how important gentle, attentive care is, especially for senior pets or pets with special needs. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I’m currently available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends for House sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking! Visits include feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks and playtime! I’m happy to help keep up with your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed in their own home. For walks, I focus on making sure your dog has a safe and fun outing.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have watched neighborhood dogs for anything from a dog walk to a couple weeks overnight since I was in high school (I just graduated college!) I have always had a knack for training pups using positive reinforcement and have been coined a bit of a “dog whisperer” by friends, family, and clients back home. I am a major dog person and have been my whole life. I just moved back home to Jersey from Austin where I fostered dogs in addition to my own. I would love to meet your furry friends! I am currently a student at the university of Texas at Austin. The maximum hours of class I have a day are two hours and only on busy days. I am home most of the day at my apartment and have time and love to offer a dog! I don’t have any dogs in my apartment here. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, my building is dog friendly and close to parks/good walking routes!!

I am usually available, especially during business hours. l am a college student on summer break. You can count on me to have time for your dog. I always have a leash, poo baggie, and treats handy. Never do I take a dog off lead except in the dog park. I always make an effort to befriend any dog that I am caring for! In my home: We have a dog door (fits smaller medium sized dogs) that goes out to a fenced area.
