About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. She is a secure dog and adaptable to any environment. I believe my dog’s calm and friendly demeanor is a direct reflection of my skills. I’m prepared to handle dogs across the spectrum of sizes and energy levels. I live close to many beautiful parks and trails, some with dedicated areas for dog-play. I will closely follow any instructions you have for feeding, exercising, sleeping and socializing your precious pet. I work part-time from home and set my own schedule so I am able to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to your pet easily. I will treat your pet like part of my family if they stay with me. I have a very calming presence that animals seem to react really well too. I am happy to watch your pet at your place if that works best. My family and friends have relied on me to walk, bathe, feed, and care for their pets for many years! I live in a pretty spacious apartment where your dog can have more than enough space to walk around, and although I grew up with 3 dogs in my home town, I do not have any dogs here in Boston so there is no worry about whether or not your dog with get along with other dogs. I am a student at Berklee College of Music and have some classes during the week but I am pretty flexible as they are only a couple of hours out of the day. I am completely free on weekends. I am always free Monday, Wednesday and Friday . Other days are dependent on how far ahead in advance you apply. I am virtually in college so it's just about making things work. I have a fenced yard and I also live close to a dog park. I'm able to administer medicine. I always keep an eye on the dogs and make sure they don't feel too homesick.

“Very positive experience with a 5 night boarding stay with Carolina's family. She's very pleasant to deal with, and she seems to be a very experienced dog owner. My dog seems to have really enjoyed his stay, playing with her Sheepadoodle. They have a very nice enclosed backyard where the dogs can plan outside. It made it very easy to go away on vacation for the week knowing our dog was in good hands. Will definitely rebook in the future and would highly recommend.”

When we picked her up, she was clearly not stressed. Manuel followed all instructions we provided to him regarding feeding and bathroom breaks and walked her even though we hadn’t requested that. In our opinion, we believe that your pet will be in great hands with him!”

About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy. What makes my home safe is that I live a safe area. There is a park across the street across the street. They also get the backyard. There are no kids and they will monitored.
“Helped out in a last minute notice in a whole different state and treated pepperoni like he was their own 🥰 I can honestly say I got super lucky with them! I booked a trip to Nj to see the American Dream mall and take my son to Nickelodeon amusement park for his 2nd bday booked a hotel that accepted dogs but could not accept my dog barking and he barked when he was alone he had a bit of separation anxiety. Which I doubt it was as bad as the hotel made it but thanks god for Hsin & Paul! They were able to take pepperoni on last minute.”
