About: My story with cats began about 30 years ago, when a friend asked me to watch his cat for a couple of weeks, which turned into several years. I specifically have developed excellent walking etiquette and liken myself to a walk-trainer for younger dogs 🐾 I am self employed which gives me more than ample time to give my utmost attention to your babies. For a few years, I used to volunteer at the local animal shelter where I’d help bathe kittens, take their dogs outside and play with our furry friends seeking homes. Being around younger or older pets for years has allowed me to pick up signs and stay calm if accidents happen, whether your pet missed the litter box or regurgitated their meal. I’m always glad to help out where and when I can! I mostly work from home where I have a bit more control over my schedule. Early mornings or late evenings are always flexible! If I receive enough notice, I’m glad to accommodate your pets needs throughout the day on any weekday or weekends as well! I have prior experience being with a wide range of larger outdoor pets and smaller indoor pets who are cage trained or not. I’m glad to keep them company, spend time with their favorite toys and make sure they’re cleaned up after! From previous experience, I have a keen eye on a pets body language and can get a sense if some may need more space than others. However, I’ll always be accommodating if some pets need to let their energy out more than others! Similar to my own cat, on a daily basis, I make sure to set aside 30 minutes of play time with them in the day time and the evening to lessen the “zoomies”!

Summer is incredibly thorough and attentive, taking the time to understand our dog’s needs and routine. She also sends consistent updates, which gives us peace of mind while we’re away. She is very punctual (i.e., always ready for pick-up/drop-off) and has always been super flexible with our schedule when plans change. She’s even helped us out in cases where we needed a last-minute sitter, which was a huge lifesaver. “They were extremely accommodating with our pick up and drop off schedule. I have used river maybe five or six times in the past, and that last time I use them I had a very bad experience with poor communication and people were so polite and had a beautiful property and kept in constant communication with plenty of pictures and when it was time for me to pick up my dog, we had a lot of traffic and we’re over an hour late and they were happy to oblige. I will definitely leave my stellar with him anytime and I plan to leave her with them in the future anytime I need a sitter. They sent me lots of pictures. They even went as far as printing out some pictures for us, and they gave Stella a little bandanna like she would have when she left a groomer. They were very polite and had a great backyard, and my dog was very happy when I picked her up, so I know that they treated her well. They are definitely an A+ sitter. I highly recommend them and I have used the multiple times was good and bad and I had nothing but good things to say about them.”
