About: I promise to love your dog as much as you do, and to give him/her plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and treats! I'm a lifelong dog owner with broad experience with many breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I hail from a long line of dog lovers, and happy to provide references upon request. I'm a single, responsible, dependable professional with a Master's degree, and have studied Animal Behavior and Animal Psychology. I recently lost my own dog (15 year old German Shepherd mix), and getting involved in dog sitting and walking has helped me fill this void. My friends and family often refer to me as a "dog whisperer." Currently I have an extremely flexible, open schedule (including nights, weekends)- I'm also available on short notice. My unconditional love and passion for dogs (and all animals) is indescribable, and this passion and enthusiasm seems to grow more and more by the day. I have spent my entire life around dogs, have owned/cared for many of them. I possess a natural ability to "instantly connect" with new dogs, and I'm able to quickly and confidently earn their trust, love, and friendship. I can honestly say that the only time I'm truly happy is when I'm around dogs- and I would love to meet yours! I also have experience with cats and other pets. Thank you for considering my profile, it would be a privilege to work with you and your four-legged friend!

“Siara was lovely and we will absolutely have her back. Even though it was her first time taking care of our two large pups and she was plagued with frequent storms and an unexpected limp, she handled each challenge with grace and communicated with us well! Highly recommend!”

“Whenever we need to travel and family isn’t around we get super anxious as we can’t trust just anyone with our amazing dog, Peach, who is dog aggressive. Finding Jonnie took that anxiety away. Upon meeting him, he took great interest in Peach and her routines. He walked her and took plenty of notes. He also met up with us again before leaving. By the time we left, my anxiety was gone. Jodie took perfect care of Peach, and our house. He also sent a TON of pictures, morning, midday and evening, which really comforted my wife and I. It was nice to see Peach hanging out in our home and at content in our absence. I highly recommend Jonnie.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life.I've have been sitting, walking, playing with my neighbors, friends, and families pets since I was 12. I have taken care of senior pets to puppies and kittens. I have worked as vet receptionist and as a manager at Petco. I have trained puppies working on basic training. I love dogs and there isn't much better for me than spending time with my own pets and helping out with others. I am currently a stay at home Mom which allows me plenty of time to visit, walk , or provide overnight sitting. I can work my schedule around what the pet owner needs. I will treat your pet and your home as it were my own. Your pet will get tons of attention and affection. On walks or during play I would never put your pet in harms way.

About: I had pets when I was younger and grew up having responsibilities of taking care and being attentive to the care of animals in my life. I am a college student on summer break, I would love to go out for walks and giving your pets the attention that I can give due to my flexible schedule. I have a spacious backyard and being close to a park is wonderful to go on long walks or just let your pets run around.

“Janayah took excellent care of my pup, gave her all the attention she needed and went above and beyond, with great communication with updates and when things were needed. Absolutely would recommend!”

About: I’ve house sat and taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old. I’ll treat your dog as one of my own and give them all the love they’ll be missing while you’re away. I’ll make sure your house runs smoothly and completely any daily upkeep needed. I am located in Montclair with vehicle access to a bike! Preferred bookings to be in Montclair or close by. I currently work remotely full-time and have the flexibility of catering to your dog's needs. I am looking to house sit that way I have the flexibility and convenience of walking, playing, and giving plenty of cuddles to your dog(s)! Whatever you need, I’m more than happy to accommodate to your dog’s schedule that way they can stay in their routine as much as possible while you’re away.

“Jojo was the absolute best. She was soo good taking care of my Great Dane. I was away for 5 days and she sent picture and updates all of the time. She went above and beyond.”

“Andrew was so friendly, communicative and conscientious; it was so wonderful to know our was in his care!”

About: My experience with animals is a wide range from puppies to senior dogs, Pups@Play & Cameron Animal Hospital are amazing places to gain enough experience to be confident and taking care of animals My schedule does fluctuate my current job hours do change from Mornings-Midday(7am-12pm) Midday-Late night closing(1pm,2pm-8pm) Because of this I do get freedom to request time off in advance so planning ahead isn't a problem My experience working with animals started at Cameron Animal hospital/Shelter working as a Vet technician being able to learn a lot of about animals dietary restrictions & maintaining a comfortable & sanitary environment for our animals really come into fruition once I found pups@play. Working for that company was eye opening on what kind of career I wanted to have and this is where I believe my first steps began into being able to open my own spot in Bloomfield

About: I started watching my friends pets when they went on vacation several years ago and I fell in love with the job. My favorite part is meeting all the different breeds of dogs and cats and getting to be a part of their lives, even if it’s only for a brief period of time. I am a highschool math teacher. I have no problem walking and feeding before work and after school I’m free all evening. I’m single and don’t have any kids so weekends are free. I love staying fit so long walks are a plus for me. Usually I arrive to a liner’s home with a spare key or passcode. I tend to ask if we can take the dog for a walk together before dates of service (free of charge) to establish a friendly rapport with the dog so I’m not a stranger upon arrival. We usually go for a walk first, body harness preferred over neck collar, but I use whatever the owner asks me to. I usually walk until poop and then come back. A longer walk at least once a day. I usually fill the food bowl and clean and refill the water bowl upon returning from a walk. (Or follow instructions as specified.) a check-in/walk usually take about 30-40 min. After evening walks I usually stay with the dog for a while to provide companionship, unless overnight stay is requested.

Keith S.
“Keith has been a great friend to me and my pets for about 10+ years now. Whenever I had to go out of town or just needed someone to look after them for a few, he was always there and ready to go. My 3 dogs (a pekingese/chihuahua mix, havanese, and a border collie) were always in great hands with him and I could just see how excited they got whenever he came around. I love, too, that he could get them to use all of their energy so that by the time the end of the day comes, they were wiped out and sleeping like a bunch of babies! He was a lot of fun, too, for my cat, Cappi, even though she's usually so shy around others. He's genuinely one of the best friends and carers that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.”

John F.
“John F has been an incredible dog sitter and walker for my two dogs, Rocco (4 years old) and Abby (1 year old). He has been with us since Rocco was just a puppy, and his loyalty and consistency over the years have been unmatched. Every time John comes by, both of my dogs light up — they wag their tails, jump around with excitement, and clearly adore him. It’s obvious they feel safe, happy, and well cared for in his presence. John goes above and beyond as a caregiver. He frequently sends thoughtful follow-up messages after his visits just to check in on how the dogs are doing, which shows how much he truly cares. He also takes the time to educate himself on dog behavior and how to best meet their emotional and physical needs — something I deeply appreciate as a dog owner. On top of all that, John is professional, polite, and incredibly easy to work with. He’s flexible with scheduling, reliable, and always communicates clearly. His genuine love for animals and the families he works with really sets him apart. I highly recommend John to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and knowledgeable pet sitter or dog walker. He’s been a true gift to our family, and I always know Rocco and Abby are in the best hands with him.”
