About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. I have grown up with a range of different animal companions including: dogs, guinea pigs, birds and fish. You know that person you see on the bench surrounded by pigeons because they keep breaking off pieces of their lunch to give to them? That's me! But, due to my experience, I know exactly how much effort and work goes into actually properly caring for an animal and catering to its distinctive needs. Typically, I would take dogs out on long walks in the surrounding areas or backyards, play with and feed all animals, and ensure that their water bowls are changed and filled with clean water, and all litter boxes, cages or tanks are cleaned. I will make sure to be vigilant when it comes to clients' pets to make certain they are safe at all times. And, you can ensure that I will leave the clients' home clean and exactly how it was found, and once finished, all doors and windows will be locked and secured to prevent possible intrusions. About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy. What makes my home safe is that I live a safe area. There is a park across the street across the street. They also get the backyard. There are no kids and they will monitored.

About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.
