About: I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and patient looking after your pets, and I always try to give them lots of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual needs. I currently offer drop-in visits, evening house sitting, and walks. I know every pet has their own personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a senior dog of my own who has a special diet and is partially blind, so I understand the extra patience and attention some pets may need. During walks, I keep her close to me, help guide her safely up and down stairs, and carry her when needed. I also administer her eye drops daily and make sure she stays comfortable and relaxed. Caring for her has taught me how important gentle, attentive care is, especially for senior pets or pets with special needs. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I’m currently available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends for Over night House sitting, drop in visits for both cats and dogs, and dog walking! Visits include feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks and playtime! I’m happy to help keep up with your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed in their own home. For walks, I focus on making sure your dog has a safe and fun outing.

One of the biggest reasons I wanted to become a pet sitter is because I know pets aren’t “just animals”—they’re family. Growing up, I had a cat named Bugsy who was with us until he reached old age. Those experiences shaped the way I care for every animal today. Now I have my own cat, Gumbo, who is absolutely my baby. About: When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you’re caring for your own pets or someone else’s. I believe pets should be treated like people, with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well being. After owning a family retail business for many years, and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past eight years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners, ensuring strict supervision of pets during excursions while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well being of your dog will always be my number one priority. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm. For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.

About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.
