About: I have a 4 year old golden retriever that we’ve had since he was 10 weeks old. I absolutely adore animals of every kind. I know basic training for dogs and am still learning each day. I’m incredibly active with a flexible schedule and would love to help out! I work for myself and create my own schedule. I go on multiple walks a day. I like to be home often and spend most of the time in the Montclair area. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly golden retriever who is 4 years old and trained. It’s mostly me that will be at home though my husband will be around as well who also loves animals.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 20 years, from childhood through adulthood, and have personally cared for five dogs over that time. Being around dogs has always been a big part of my life, so I understand the attention, patience, exercise, and love that goes into making sure they’re happy and comfortable. My current dog, Reyna, is a loving 4-year-old Micro Bully/Frenchie mix with plenty of personality. Caring for her has given me even more hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, exercise, and understanding a dog’s individual needs and behaviors. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit, going for a walk, or spending more time with them while you’re away, I’ll treat your pet with the same patience, attention, and care I give my own. I work remotely and have a very flexible daily schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine. Even on days when I have meetings scheduled, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and spending quality time with your pets. I do train a couple of evenings during the week, but it shouldn’t interfere with providing consistent and reliable care. Working from home gives me the ability to plan around each pet’s normal routine rather than expecting them to adjust to mine. Whether your pet needs attention during the workday, a midday walk, or care while you’re away, I can be flexible and make sure they’re getting the time and attention they need. My home is already set up with pets in mind. My cats have plenty of comfortable spaces throughout the apartment, including a cat tower, a window perch, and different areas where they can relax or have their own space. My dog also has access to a dog park within my apartment complex, which makes regular exercise, playtime, and outdoor breaks easy and convenient. My dog and cats are all comfortable around each other and live together peacefully. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I understand how important it is to keep them comfortable by maintaining the routine and environment they’re already familiar with. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, litter care, and any other routines you have in place. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and get plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a pre-teen. People have always seen me as being so welcoming caring & warm to both cats and dogs. I have plenty of time in the afternoons for walks and drop in visits. The park is 10 minutes away (walking) and I have a fenced-in yard perfect for zoomies. I have a fenced yard, plenty of toys around my house, and 2 lovely parks within walking distance of my home! I live walking distance to both Nishuane Park and Colgate Park. I also have a beagle that’s 8mo old and she loves walks and loves to play. Junie would be over the moon to have another pup to play/walk with. Additionally, I have a large crate and beds of various sizes if needed. Finally, I have 2 extra leashes, so we are good to go. Your furbabies are in good hands with me. Along with energetic and younger animals, I also have experience with elderly animals, as well as blind and deaf animals, and can provide the extra care needed for them. I work a part time job with a consistent weekly schedule, so it is easy for me to plan times to visit pets before and after work. This also gives me the flexibility to spend more time on them during the days where I have time off each week, which also remain consistent. This way I can keep myself and the pets I care for on a regular schedule, which I find helps them feel less stressed while their owners are away! At my home, I have a fenced in backyard, and I am in a suburban neighborhood that is great for walks. Whether at my home or a clients home, I like to keep a schedule with the animals I am watching. I consistently feed and walk them at the same times throughout each day, making sure they have consistent potty breaks after their meals and during the day. It is great when clients have a specific routine for their animal that they would like me to keep, that way I keep their pets on their usual schedule. I do not have any pets or other people living in my home, and it is a very pet friendly environment.
