“Gordon is always great with Asher! He is also really good at communicating and Gordon also makes sure I get some fun pictures of Asher when they are hanging out together. Recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I come from a family of veterinarians so I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t around animals or caring for them. I’ve been lucky to have an array of pets including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, squirrels, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles and exotic fish. I’m currently in medical school and trying to earn some extra cash. I’m busy during the day due to school, but can study anywhere in the evenings to house sit. I can walk, feed, and keep pet company. I’m used to following long instructions for care, such as, different times and types of medications or supplements that need to be given.
“Jeanette was extremely helpful with our pups! She was easily reachable and accessible throughout the process and we felt comfortable with her in our home, with our furry babies!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by pets and spent a lot of time caring for them. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors by walking their dogs, feeding their pets, playing with them, and making sure they felt safe and loved while their owners were away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and always treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make time to give each pet the attention, care, and affection they deserve. I communicate with owners, provide updates, and make sure every visit is a positive experience for both pets and their families. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I always follow each pet owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), exercise routines, and any special care requirements. I make sure pets feel calm, comfortable, and secure by respecting their routines and giving them plenty of patience, attention, and love. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing.
About: I feel as though i have an ability to communicate with animals in ways I cannot communicate with humans. I believe all dogs are gifts from god and we are fortunate to experience their unconditional love. I currently work from home, which allows for a very open schedule, and affords me a lot of freedom when necessary. I can also adapt my current situation to make special accommodations. we have a fenced in yard, I also have a county park located at the end of my street, which also has several dog parks included within it.

“She was wonderful with my knuckle head German Shepard. She walked, feed, and played with him even though he’s an excited nervous dog. She updated me on anything that happened while I was gone for my 5days and even with pictures! Marlita even went one step above and gave me tips and tricks to help with my dogs anxiety and I couldn’t have asked for more. Her jovial attitude has had a profound effect on me and my dog and I will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am comfortable adapting to all personalities ~ from energetic and social to more shy or sensitive. Growing up, our home always had multiple dogs, so I’m very used to different temperaments, routines, and dynamics. I’ve also had hands-on experience supporting pregnant dogs and caring for litters, including situations where extra attention and patience were needed early on. Over time, I’ve learned that every dog is different, and I take the time to understand their behavior, energy, and needs so they feel safe and comfortable. My own dog is very social and friendly, and since we’re new to the area, she would love to make some new friends as well. I’m happy to care for your dog in whatever way they need ~ whether that’s boarding, drop-in visits, or a relaxed walk around your neighborhood. My goal is always to provide dependable care and make the experience easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. I look forward to connecting with you! I currently work full-time in a hybrid remote role. I offer my services on days I’m working from home so I can give your dog consistent attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. If you need boarding services, you can expect that your dog would spend their time lounging in my home with me and my dog, Khalesi. We have a fenced-in dog park within the community, but I prefer to take them on long strolls near the grassy areas so they can get plenty of new smells to sniff.

About: Your Pet's Comfort, First. Animals have always found me. Growing up, I shared my home with a Chihuahua, a Shih Tzu, and a Terrier… three very different personalities who taught me early that every pet has their own language. Since then, friends and family have trusted me with their dogs (and an occasional cat), and I've spent time volunteering at shelters, sitting with animals who just needed someone patient and present. What Sets Me Apart? I don't expect pets to perform affection for me. Some dogs and cats gravitate toward me right away; others need space, and that's okay. My focus is on their comfort, not my ego. I'm tuned in to how animals feel, whether that's an older dog who moves a little slower and needs gentler handling, or a young pup with energy to burn. I match my energy to theirs, not the other way around. Specific Skills • Boundary-respecting care: I read body language and let the animal lead; no forcing interaction • Age-aware attention: attuned to the different needs of senior dogs (joint sensitivity, slower pace) versus younger, high-energy ones • Daily energy management: I know how much play and movement different dogs need to feel settled, and I make sure they get it • Health-conscious routines: tick checks, coat condition, appetite and behavior observations; I notice the small stuff • Multi-species experience: comfortable with both dogs and cats, including shelter animals with varied backgrounds I treat the animals in my care like I'd want someone to treat my own: patient, observant, and responsive to what they need that day. I currently work part time so I’m able to be flexible with your pets needs and schedules. I’m available to house visit/ walk during weekdays and overnight on weekends and Mondays. In-Home Care Approach I care for pets in their own space, where they feel safest. No hosting, no unfamiliar territory — just me showing up where they're already comfortable. What That Looks Like • I arrive calm — no rushed energy, no loud entry. I give them time to adjust to my presence before anything else. • I learn their space — where they eat, where they hide, their favorite spot by the window. I work within their routine. • Energy out, safely — walks, play, or backyard time based on what they need that day. Tick checks after outdoor time. • I notice the small shifts — eating habits, energy levels, anything that feels off. You'll hear about it. • I leave their space as I found it — maybe a little furrier, but otherwise intact Why This Matters Some pets do fine in new places. Many don't. Older dogs, anxious cats, rescues with history — they hold their ground best at home. I respect that. My job is to be the steady, familiar presence in their environment :)
“Neide is a dream! She clearly spends a lot of time with animals and is passionate about them. Leaving my 16 year old senior cat and my 1 year old new cat was nerve wracking, but Neide’s compassion and knowledge put me at ease. I highly recommend Neide!”
About: I’ve been caring for pets for several years and genuinely enjoy building trust with both animals and their owners. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, as well as basic care for other pets. Currently a teacher will have opening availability come summer time. So my availability will be pretty open to whatever the customer/pet needs are. Can’t wait! I make safety and comfort my top priorities when caring for pets. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions from the owner. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and always supervise interactions to ensure pets are safe at all times. I’m attentive to behavior and body language so I can respond quickly if anything seems off. In a client’s home, I respect their space while maintaining a calm, familiar environment for their pet. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away

About: My name is Bianca and I absolutely adore animals. Animals are a privilege and a blessing to those who have pets. I have been around cats and dogs all my life and I am very comfortable with both and they are comfortable with me ;) Family members and neighbors have confided in me to walk, feed, bathe and play with their pets while they’re out of town. I’m currently a college student, the majority of my classes are in the afternoon so I’d be home most of the time, I have two classes so they won’t be left for long. I have a fenced yard so your pet will be allowed to roam freely. I also live near a part so they’ll have space and grass to play or do their business!
About: I had pets growing up-- a dog and a hamster. I used to cat sit (check-in, feed, and play) for my friend in high school. I also walked dogs for my friends in college, and have had my own cat for the past three years! I work part time and am a grad student, but only have one class-- so I am available weekends, Tuesdays and Thursdays. These days I can do visits and walks any time of day! I don't have a car so I am limited to places I can easily reach by public transportation, but I will take care of your pets the same way you would. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kearny
Deb came to meet us before the booking for a meet and greet and we knew that she was going to do a great job. She was so detailed and listened to all of the needs of our two pups. When the day came she sent us photos, videos and updates of the walks and of her playing with our dogs. She did a fantastic job and we will definitely be calling her again!
Joni is just amazing!! Our pup Milo loves Joni. She walks Milo 3 days a week and helps us out in a pinch. We get great updates from her. She’s helped Milo learn how to go on little bike runs with her and tires our little boy out when needed! She’s also so patient with Milo. We love her and recommend her for all your puppy needs :))))

Jadis was an excellent choice to watch my two dogs while I was away on vacation. From the very beginning, she made everything feel effortless…communicating clearly, showing genuine care, and keeping me updated so I never felt unsure about how my dogs were doing. My dogs were calm and happy when I returned, which says a lot about the attention and routine Jadis maintained. I could tell they were comfortable in Jadis’s presence. I’m genuinely grateful to have found someone trustworthy. I’d absolutely book her again for future trips and would recommend Jadis to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
