About: I've been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Apart from my current two dogs, I've also raised three previous dogs from being a puppy into their senior years. I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement training, every dog deserves the utmost love and care. I own my own business and set my own hours so I can accommodate anyone's pet care needs. I'm fine with short notice requests and can work with anyone's schedule! I have two dogs that can run around freely in my fenced in backyard. They each get at least two solo shorter walks (about 15 minutes around the park we live next to) per day and an additional longer walk (around 45-60 minutes) once my girlfriend gets home from work where we walk both together.

I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and observant of body language, so I try to understand each pet’s comfort level, energy, and routine rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Because my work is contract-based, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the week for pet care. I love animals, and as a dog parent myself, I’ve kept my availability open during times I know are especially helpful for other pet parents. I’ve built walks and drop-in visits into my routine and like to keep my schedule manageable so I can be reliable, attentive, and fully present with each pet. I know how important trust is when someone is coming into your home and caring for your pet. About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

About: I have experience with every kind of aged fur babies for 13 years. I’ve always enjoyed caring for animals since a young girl. I have multiple friends and family who rely on me to walk, feed, board and bathe their pets! I currently do online classes from home for Vet Technician. I have plenty of time to watch and play with your pup! I am available daily and even on call! I have three pups who are friendly with other dogs and would have a great day with one another. About: I grew up spending many summers on my grandparent's farms in Portugal and Italy where taking care of our farm dogs, barn cats, and the occasional chicken were the norm! Between the countryside, the suburbs, and living in Brooklyn, I have taken care of bunnies, house cats, budgies and cockatiels, and dogs big and small for the last 9 years. I have experience with providing care and medications for senior cats and dogs as well. My practice as a yoga teacher has even prepared me to stay calm and attentive yet playful when handling your pet's needs. Currently, I am a hybrid online/in-person MSW student and work part-time outside of the house. My schedule is flexible for house sitting stays. For example, schedules could include 12-1pm walks, 4-7pm feeding times, or overnight care! When I stop by to care for your pet, I make sure I reread the instructions provided to me regarding you and your pets needs. I always lock up your home before, during, and after each visit and will take the time to play with your pet, hang out with them, and provide much needed love in whatever way your pet likes! Afterwards, I like to send updated photos of my time spent with your pet to give them an overview of what our time together has been like :)

About: I have owned, worked/handled, studied many breeds as large and powerful as mastiffs and as small as Dachshunds my entire 40 years of life. Handling involved in caring includes feeding, walking, mental and physical enrichment, bathing I am not working for the summer and only work side jobs other times. I am available almost all the time. Very active with a lot of patience and education. My time is dedicated to caring for dogs I live in an apartment and can care for dogs here or at your home. My first priority is safety. I request a meet and greet before accepting to take care of your pet at your home to align on expectations. In this meet and greet, we would review your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medication schedules, and behavioral quirks. Also discuss home access, safety measures, and disclosing security cameras or household staff who may come by during the visit. For house-sitting, I will ensure consistent communication by sending 2-3 updates per day with photos and summaries of how your pet ate, their bathroom habits, and how they behaved. I will also treat your residence with respect.

About: I was a Veterinary Technician for 3 years and I gained many skills as a professional puppy petter and kitten kisser. I can medicate animals effectively and identify and alert the pet parent to potential problems before they become bigger issues. I have a degree in animal behavior and physiology, I've worked at an animal shelter, and I'd love nothing more than to get to know your pet and spend some time with them! I've got a cat and a dog myself, Chipotle and Guacamole, and they are incredible. I am doing this as a second source of income, so I have plenty of time devoted to playing with your pups or kicking it with your kitties! I will do whatever you feel is best for your pet. Your house, your rules. Obviously the pet's safety is paramount, but after that, youre the boss, boss!

About: I have always had dogs and have taken care of friends pets when they travel. I was able to foster a cat for several months as well. I absolutely love animals. I have two dogs whom I walk daily and spend time with regularly. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine between morning, afternoon and nightly potty breaks to our weekend dog park, park or hiking adventures. I treat my pets like my tribe members.
