Priyanka was wonderful with Carlos and Chief! Her communication was great and she provided the best photos of them while I was away - even better than I get sometimes! I would highly recommend Priyanka for your cat-sitting needs.

About: I always take into account the priorities of the pet owner to ensure that I give the best care to their pets. I want to provide the best care for them so I ask detailed questions. That way the pets are getting the best care possible! I am currently in grad school full time and not working, so this will be my only other priority. I can be flexible as long as I have a day's worth of notice I ask detailed questions in order to ensure that I take care of the pets as per the owner's request. That way both of us are on the same page.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for my friends and family and love to play, walk, feed or just hang out with them! I used to dog walk every week at a shelter growing up and had fun taking dogs of all size! I am currently in-between jobs so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I can be a sitter in your house if you need someone to feed and play with them or I can take them out on walks. My cat back home is super needy and always needs pets so I’m used to giving lots of love. I always attend to her needs and will do the same with your pets!

I offer dog sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits, with care tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and emotional needs. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or calm and senior, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Daily activities may include: Long or short walks based on energy level Feeding according to your schedule and dietary needs Playtime, enrichment activities, and mental stimulation Frequent photo and video updates for peace of mind I treat every dog as an individual, never rushing interactions and always prioritizing their well-being. I have long lasting experience taking care of dogs, more than 10 years. I can take walk dogs after 3 pm every day. I am a teacher, and I currently work every morning until 3 pm. I would walk dogs after 3:30 pm to make my day full. I would follow any direction the pet owner gives me. I would make sure the pet is comfortable and most of all I would keep everybody and everything safe.

About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

About: I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is that I always prioritize a pet safety their environment, but most importantly, I prioritize them feeling secure, knowing that they’re in the right hands. I currently have a flexible work schedule that can fit into taking good care of any fur babies I meet. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so that will never be an issue either. Once I’m off a meeting I can go right back into giving the pet as much attention possible. Definitely a good distraction from work! To me, I consider pets very similar to humans. So I always assure that they’re in good hands regarding safety. Always better to have fun but to prioritize safety first!

About: I’m a recent graduate and lifelong animal lover. I’ve helped care for neighbors’, friends’, and family members’ dogs since I was young, and I also have two dogs back home in Korea that I’ve raised since they were puppies. Because I’ve grown up with animals, I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from playful, energetic pups to shy or senior dogs who need a gentler pace. I can help with walking, feeding, basic care, and lots of playtime and affection. People who know me trust that I’m responsible, calm, and very attentive to each dog’s unique needs and routines, and I always treat every pet like my own family. As a recent graduate currently not working a traditional full-time job, I have a very flexible schedule and can devote plenty of time and attention to your pets. I can adjust to your preferred routine, whether your pet needs morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening play sessions. I am available on weekdays and weekends and can usually accommodate last-minute bookings or schedule changes. Because pet care is my main focus right now, your dog or cat won’t be squeezed into a busy day. I can be present, patient, and fully engaged with them. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities whenever I care for someone’s pet. Whether I am in your home or out on a walk, I am careful about leashes, doors, and surroundings so your pet stays secure at all times. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding guidelines, medication schedules, and any specific rules you have about furniture, treats, or interactions with other animals. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is in reliable hands and for your pet to feel calm, safe, and loved while we are together.

About: I have always loved animals but was unable to start owning my own dogs until about 11 years ago. I've had two different pit bulls but have been the proud owner of my Puggle, Mama, for the longest time out of the three. Her owner was about to surrender her to the pound so I jumped in and re-homed her. Over the years, I learned a lot about puppies, walking, training, feeding, dog behavior and veterinary care. My dogs have ranged in age from under one to over 13 so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I am accustomed to walking dogs in all kinds of weather also! I don't have a yard but there is a park very close to my house where I can walk your dog(s). Your pooch will have no shortage of love, companionship and playtime! I also can administer medication if needed. I am currently working from home so I will be able to provide plenty of attention and follow routines with ease. I do go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and other than that if I leave the house I'm not gone for long. I am able to schedule errands/outings around caring for your pet. I do not have a yard but I live less than a block away from a park that is pet friendly. I am accustomed to walking a dog daily and anticipating his or her needs because I have owned a dog for years. However, my dog Mama, is a semi-permanent resident at my parents' house in Delaware so I am able to provide undivided attention to your pet(s). I don't have children or any other pets in the house. I typically do not allow pets on the couch or in my bed but I can put a cover on the couch if need be and pets can sleep on a dog bed in my room at night.

About: Pets are more than just being animals, they are family. Being able to experience such a grand love from not only me 2 fur babies, but also every pet i’ve ever cared for is such a blessing. Since I was 10 I walked many neighborhood dogs and that’s is exactly what drew me to my first job which was being a kennel assistant at a doggy daycare. I loved every second being able to bond with not only pets, but their owners as well. And being that I’m a young dog walker you will receive many photos of your pet to make your day. I’m a full time worker at a Hair salon & Spa. Mondays & Sundays are my off days and Thursdays are my half off days. Usually I will get random days off which will be updated on my schedule whenever I do get the heads up. Before any care I like to run down on any rules or concerns the pet parents may have. If there ever is a problem parents will be contacted immediately, but of course all the right precautions will be taken when caring for the pets. I am a very coordinated person with lists, and notes of everything I will ever need.

About: Hi! My name is Carlize, and I’ve been caring for dogs and other pets since I was 7 years old. I’m a huge dog person and a true animal lover! I regularly care for my best friend’s 5-year-old Australian Shepherd, and we’ve built such a great bond over the years. I would love the opportunity to build that same kind of relationship with your pets, making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m knowledgeable about different dog breeds, personalities, and care needs, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just relaxing with a companion, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. Thank you for considering me to care for your pet! I hope you’ll trust me with your furry family member—I look forward to meeting you both and providing the best care possible. 🐾🤍 Hi! I currently work full-time in an office, so my availability is as follows: • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM • Saturday & Sunday: Available all day I’m available for morning visits before work, evening visits after work, and weekend care. I always make sure pets receive the attention, care, and love they deserve, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. 😊🐾 I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but I regularly care for my friends’ and family’s pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure each pet stays on their normal routine. I make sure they’re well-fed, comfortable, and have everything they need while you’re away. I’m a very active person, so I love keeping pets active too! Whether it’s playing fetch, going on long walks, or simply spending quality time with them, I’m happy to provide plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. 😊🐾

Jadis was an excellent choice to watch my two dogs while I was away on vacation. From the very beginning, she made everything feel effortless…communicating clearly, showing genuine care, and keeping me updated so I never felt unsure about how my dogs were doing. My dogs were calm and happy when I returned, which says a lot about the attention and routine Jadis maintained. I could tell they were comfortable in Jadis’s presence. I’m genuinely grateful to have found someone trustworthy. I’d absolutely book her again for future trips and would recommend Jadis to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog sitter.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Harrison stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Harrison choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Harrison with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Harrison. On Rover:

  • 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
