My love for animals started when I volunteered to dog-walk and help find dogs a home at an SPCA in Charleston, SC for 3 yrs. Since then, I’ve been taking care of my family, friends, and neighbors dogs :) I’ll only confirm a dog-walk and dog sitting shift if I’m working from home and can guarantee I can be present with your fur baby •Affection (dogs love company that make them feel comfortable and loved). I’m always sure to make them feel seen and cared for. It can be tough on them being away from their caregiver. About: I’ve taken care of my friends pers for years, ranging from a few days to a few weeks! Would get a dog for myself but as the only person at home I feel bad leaving them alone when I’m out. In a previous job, one of my duties was taking care of a French bulldog. I am fully available throughout the day and can also administer medication to pets when needed. About: I grew up with and took care of a sweet and energetic yorkipoo named Milo. He passed away a few of years ago at 15 with dementia and nerve issues. I also lived with an elderly, blind maltese-bichon mix, Coco for three years and helped take care of her as well. I am comfortable and experienced with older dogs that require more medical attention but am more than happy to help with younger pups as well! I also have some experience cat-sitting for friends. I am currently on summer break, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am especially available during weekdays at any time. However, I am available many weekends as well. Joni was a wonderful sitter for Tigger! She communicated well throughout the stay and took great care of him — including giving him his medication and gently comforting him when he was scared. The only minor hiccup was with the Rover card check-in timing (either forgetting or tapping a bit too early), but that’s a small thing. Deb came to meet us before the booking for a meet and greet and we knew that she was going to do a great job. She was so detailed and listened to all of the needs of our two pups. When the day came she sent us photos, videos and updates of the walks and of her playing with our dogs. She did a fantastic job and we will definitely be calling her again!
