Hello, my name is Christina. I am truly a lover of animals, and have been since I was a child. I have grown up with a range of different animal companions including: dogs, guinea pigs, birds and fish. You know that person you see on the bench surrounded by pigeons because they keep breaking off pieces of their lunch to give to them? That's me! Or, that person you always see feeding the same stray cats that live in your local area? Also, me! I also happen to be a very strong advocate for the rights and well being of ALL animals and it breaks my heart to see any treated unkindly or unfairly. Work Experience: I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at animal shelters since I was a preteen, and later went on to becoming employed as an Animal Caretaker in my adult years at ASPCA. I have worked with a variety of animals from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, turtles, and even goats. It was a very demanding job, to put it lightly. Though, most people would assume otherwise when it comes to working with animals. But, due to my experience, I know exactly how much effort and work goes into actually properly caring for an animal and catering to its distinctive needs. I was also the owner of a small dog walking/pet sitting business outside of Rover, which I did for 3 years. Lastly, I would like to mention that I am a very detail oriented person, and a bit of a perfectionist. If I do a job, I make sure I do it well. I am also immensely compassionate and emphathic when it comes to all living creatures, so I think with these skills combined, I would be perfectly fit to look after your furry, feathery or scaly friend.
