About: I have experience raising and caring for dogs, including my neighbor’s Labrador Retriever, Max. Over the years, I’ve ensured Max stays happy, healthy, and well-loved by providing regular feeding, grooming, and daily walks. I also enjoy teaching commands and engaging Max in fun activities to keep him active and mentally stimulated. Caring for Max has deepened my understanding of canine behavior and strengthened my passion for providing excellent pet care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule as I am usually available in the afternoons. This allows me to dedicate quality time to meet pets' needs, including walks, playtime, feeding, and other essential care. My flexible afternoons ensure I can provide consistent attention and maintain a reliable routine for the pets I look after. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize their comfort and routine to minimize stress. I ensure their environment is safe, secure, and clean, paying attention to any specific instructions provided by the pet owner. I follow the pet’s daily routine, and I provide plenty of love and attention to ensure they feel comfortable. I also keep the home tidy and respect the client's space, ensuring their pet receives the same level of care and attention as if they were in my own home.
“Janayah is a lovely cat sitter and I highly recommend her. She read and followed all my instructions and took good care of my cat Luna. She provided a couple photos each visit. She played with Luna, kept the litter tidy for her, made sure her food plates were cleaned out and rotated. She has been very responsive in her communication and handled everything well while I was away on vacation. I came back to seeing everything neat and clean in the house as well.”

“It has truly been a pleasure having Zoë as our cat sitter while we were on vacation. Zoë is very pleasant, thorough and thoughtful. She checked in every day with updates, suggestions that were greatly appreciated and even navigated minor challenges very professionally! I will definitely re-book in the future and highly recommend Zoë as a great caregiver! Thank you Zoë🫶🏽”

“Tom showed up on time and quickly got acquainted with our doggies. Doggies warmed up to him quickly. He spent some time with them as we will need him for future visits. He seems to be truly caring for furry friends.”

“Deliris was a great help! She took her time with my kitties and gave them some very needed interaction. She is a great communicator and never left me wondering about what was going on. I would definitely book her again!”

“Ashlee was an amazing fit for our Banji and our baby took to her very quickly ! The photo updates were amazing, and it was such a joy working with her. We will be booking her again !!”

About: For nearly 20 years, caring for pets has been a natural part of my professional caregiving experience. I've also had the privilege of caring for clients of RxTra Care Pet Sitting & Services, PetCare with Love LLC, and currently Pawmunications, entrusting me with the care of pets of all ages, personalities, and care needs. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and individual needs. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy, a senior pet, or a multi-pet household, my goal is to keep their day as consistent and stress-free as possible. I believe the best pet care starts with communication. I take the time to learn your expectations, your pet's routines, and the little details that make them feel safe and comfortable. Every visit is tailored to your pet, because no one knows them better than you do. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering routine oral medications, maintaining feeding and exercise schedules, and caring for multi-pet households. I'll also provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pets are doing. My goal is simple: for you to come home—or finish your workday—to happy pets and the confidence that everything was exactly as it should be. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus, allowing me the flexibility to provide dependable care, accommodate a variety of schedules, and be available for overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks. My availability is updated regularly, so if you have recurring or long-term needs, I'd love to chat! Because I'm caring for your pets in the environment they're most comfortable in, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and respecting both your pet's needs and your home. Before every booking, I take the time to learn your pet's schedule, preferences, medications, and any household routines that are important to you. During each visit, I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, double-check collars and harnesses before walks, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you complete peace of mind.

Jennie was wonderful in caring for our kitties. We have 3 inside and 1 outside. She was timely and thorough with her communication and sent many photos! On one visit, she noticed that the water fountain for the cats wasn’t working so she alerted me. I was able to troubleshoot shoot it with her and she was able to get it running again. Jennie is very professional and caring. We would highly recommend Jennie.

Hira did an amazing job at looking after our cat. She was very responsive and flexible. She was able to get our cat to play with her which is not an easy thing to do and administered medication. Our cat isn’t very social so this was huge. We will absolutely be rebooking with her !

Mark took care of Chumpy for over a week while we were away, and he did an amazing job! He was incredibly patient and caring with Chumpy and went above and beyond, even cleaning up after his not-so-little messes 🫣. Knowing Chumpy was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying. Thank you so much, Mark, for taking such great care of our old man! We truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and the care you showed Chumpy. We would absolutely recommend Mark to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their pet!

This is my second booking with Nicole. I was out of town for 5 days and I felt completely relaxed and without a worry because Nicole was watching my pets. I highly recommend hiring Nicole - she is kind, patient, caring, professional, and just an overall great person!

Tirzah did an exceptional job taking care of my kitties. McLovin connected with her instantly, and she always played with him which he loves. Ms. Vanjie takes more time to get close to new people but Tirzah was patient and gave Vanj the space to come out and play when she was ready. I felt really good on my trip knowing our babies were safe and in good hands

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
