He’s usually very shy, doesn’t warm up to strangers easily, and struggles with separation anxiety. He’s also not the most social when it comes to other animals. But somehow, Angie managed to connect with him. Within just a few days, I could see a shift. He looked relaxed, at ease, and even comfortable hanging around her cats, which is a first. Angie kept me updated every day with photos and videos. I never had to ask—she was always on top of it. I could tell he was happy, healthy, and in good hands. It honestly felt like Zeus was on his own vacation while we were away for 10 days. This was hands down the best experience we’ve had with a dog sitter. About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.
