About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 6 years old. One of my beloved dogs was part of my family for 20 wonderful years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of a dog's life—from energetic puppyhood to senior care. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I always take the time to help them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Since I work from home most of the time, your dog will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I only host one family's pets at a time, so your dog will enjoy a calm, clean, and low-stress environment with personalized care. I'm happy to follow your pet's feeding schedule, walking routine, medication instructions, and any special requests. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring hands. I work primarily from home, which allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Your dog will enjoy regular potty breaks every 2–4 hours, daily walks, playtime, and lots of companionship. I only host one family's pets at a time, so your dog will receive my full attention in a calm and comfortable home environment. I'm also happy to follow your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a very pet-friendly community with spacious green areas, scenic walking trails, and multiple nearby dog parks, making it a wonderful place for daily walks, exercise, and enrichment. Since I only host one family's pets at a time, your dog will enjoy a calm, personalized experience with plenty of attention and companionship. Every outdoor walk is on a secure leash, and I'll provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring hands.

Nima did a fantastic job walking our Oli and I highly recommend her. She is punctual, professional, and extremely loving to all of our pets! Nima was also flexible with scheduling and willing to accommodate our (Oli’s) needs when we needed to modify the booking. She was also extremely patient when our Oli was being stubborn on walks or potty breaks, which we greatly appreciated, especially the photos of their walks when he was serving serious diva face! 😂 We will definitely be utilizing her services again in the future and cannot recommend her enough!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and understand that every pet has unique needs at every stage of life. I helped care for my family’s West Highland Terrier for nearly 18 years, giving me experience with everything from energetic puppy years to the extra patience and attention senior dogs need. I also have experience caring for my parents’ young dog, dogs in my extended family and am comfortable keeping up with playful, active pets. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind that they’re in caring, dependable hands. As a teacher currently on summer break, I have flexible daytime availability for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I teach private music lessons in the late afternoons (typically between 4:00 and 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday), but I’m happy to work with clients to find times that fit their pets’ needs. Depending on location and scheduling, I may also be able to accommodate visits between lessons. I also have availability on Fridays and weekends, making it easier to provide reliable, consistent care. I believe communication is key and will always do my best to be flexible while ensuring your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is helping them feel comfortable by keeping them in their familiar routine. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other preferences you have for your pet’s care. Whether your pet enjoys lots of attention or prefers a quieter approach, I’ll tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, ensuring everything is left clean, secure, and just as I found it. After each visit, I’ll send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: Hi, I’m Aria✨ I’m a JC local who enjoys long walks at the park (with your dog). My love for animals started when I volunteered to dog-walk and help find dogs a home at an SPCA in Charleston, SC for 3 yrs. Since then, I’ve been taking care of my family, friends, and neighbors dogs :) I’ll only confirm a dog-walk and dog sitting shift if I’m working from home and can guarantee I can be present with your fur baby •Affection (dogs love company that make them feel comfortable and loved). I’m always sure to make them feel seen and cared for. It can be tough on them being away from their caregiver. So affection goes a long way. •Making sure they’re fed & hydrated (always attending them according to their usual/specific routine).

About: If you need a kind, positive dog sitter who loves walking a lot, here I am. My grooming certificate is a big plus in case you need nail trimming or having your dog brushed and dead hair removed. Since I work online, my day is flexible so I can walk with your dog and give your pet more attention. Also, waking up early is never a problem. You need to bring his/her food and favorite snacks. I'll give food that you provide according to your dog's schedule. Also, trying to make your dog feel safe is a must for me. His/her favorite toy would help a lot. So, if you could bring a few, it'd be great. I don't allow dogs on my bed. There is a comfy and soft mat.

I just want to say how wonderful Anna was with my very anxious pup, Brooks. I had asked if she could help me take him for a few hours while I was moving to a new apartment knowing Brooks would not do well with the chaos. She was very patient with him, allowed him to take his time getting to the park he was familiar with and provided me with photos and updates every hour to ensure that I knew how he was doing. I really appreciate all your help, Anna, and look forward to working with you again in the future!

  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
