13. Sasha M.

“I was nervous about finding a dog walker for my almost 13-year-old, 70-pound dog, who is typically very wary of strangers (she's not aggressive, just shy). From the first meeting, Sasha demonstrated an incredible understanding of our older dogs' needs. Sasha moved slowly, spoke softly, and allowed Daisy to approach on her own terms. Sasha's patience with Daisy has been remarkable. Instead of forcing interaction, Sasha allowed Daisy to set the comfort level, using gentle body language and calm energy. Sasha understands Daisy's slower pace and physical limitations, with careful attention to her mobility and comfort. On Sasha's first walk, I failed to mention that Daisy doesn't do well with stairs, but Sasha used the accessibility ramp in our building with Daisy without my mentioning it. What impressed me most was Sasha's detailed communication after each outing. She shared observations about Daisy's energy, gait, and mood, showing genuine care beyond just a standard walk. For senior dog owners seeking a trustworthy, empathetic professional, I cannot recommend Sasha highly enough. She transformed a potentially stressful experience into a positive, safe adventure for Daisy.”

14. Stephanie S.

16. Kayla W.
“Kayla is the best cat momma out there! She has two fur babies of her own and always gives me the best tips for maintaining optimal cat health. She is a cat accessory industry expert with over 10 years of care and maintenance. I would definitely recommend Kayla to house sit because she has extreme attention to detail and cleanliness. Liter box will be cleaner than when you left it.”

17. Marlita M.

“Marli has been taking our dog on weekly walks for several months and she has house-sat for us on multiple occasions as well. She has been absolutely wonderful to work with since Day 1. She is quick to respond, always prompt, and most importantly, our dog really enjoys spending time with her. We have a large dog that has medical needs and she can sometimes be difficult when getting to know new people. Marli demonstrated tremendous patience and kindness with her and she was able to gain her trust as a result. We are incredibly grateful for that. We would HIGHLY recommend Marli to anyone looking for a kind, passionate, and highly communicative caretaker for their pet. Thanks Marli :)”

18. Selim A.
“Selim has taken great care of of my 21lb cockapoo and I would trust that any dog within his care is well looked after. From long walks, to capturing the best photos of my dog, Selim is the best! Kudos to selim for also teaching my dog how to “crawl” which has now become a fan favorite trick at family get togethers.”

About: I grew up spending many summers on my grandparent's farms in Portugal and Italy where taking care of our farm dogs, barn cats, and the occasional chicken were the norm! Between the countryside, the suburbs, and living in Brooklyn, I have taken care of bunnies, house cats, budgies and cockatiels, and dogs big and small for the last 9 years. I have experience with providing care and medications for senior cats and dogs as well. My practice as a yoga teacher has even prepared me to stay calm and attentive yet playful when handling your pet's needs. Currently, I work part-time and freelance as a yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and astrologer, so I have flexibility to support your pet's schedule for care. For example, schedules could include 12-1pm drop in visits or walks, 4-7pm feeding times, or overnight care! When I stop by to care for your pet, I make sure I reread the instructions provided to me regarding you and your pets needs. I always lock up your home before, during, and after each visit and will take the time to play with your pet, hang out with them, and provide much needed love in whatever way your pet likes! Afterwards, I like to send updated photos of my time spent with your pet to give them an overview of what our time together has been like :)

About: My first dog was at 12 years old. This is where I learn the basic responsibilities of taking care of a dog. As I grew older, I did a lot of dog sitting for family and friends. This is where I got experience in following strict routines, making sure I made the dog feel loved and comfortable. I have experience with several breeds of large dogs such as cane corso, Rottweiler, golden retreiver, pitbulls, and huskies. I am available Tuesday through Friday between 8am-7pm and weekends between 8am-5pm for all your dog/cat needs. Please reach out for any additional information or any questions on availability. At home my pets are my babies. They have an eating schedule, a playing schedule, they are allowed to sleep on the couch and bed. We make sure that there is nothing they could get into so they don't get hurt and they have toys and treats.
