About: I grew up working in a farm around nature and animals. I have experience with care, medication, feed and hearding of animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, cows and horses. I just moved to this country. I really love anímales and their well-being. I’m currently looking for a job, and I’d like to start working in a field I’m passionate about, which is animal care. I would care pets in their own home o just walking around the neighborhood, following the owner’s instructions and keeping their normal routine. I would make sure they have fresh food and water, give them attention and playtime, take them for walks if needed, and keep their space clean and safe. I would also pay attention to any changes in their behavior or health and communicate with owner if there are any concerns.
“This was our first time using Rover to find a dog walker and we were a bit anxious about having someone in our house and taking care of our dog. Katie & Zayn put our fears at ease and walked us through the process. They were flexible, communicative, helpful and good to our dog. We'll happily use them again as needed!”

“Claudine is an excellent reliable dog walker and my pup Pebbie is beyond thrilled to see her during her weekly walks!! She is very attentive to my pup and her needs. Her walks are long and just the right amount of time for my pup to burn energy. She even plays fun games to also make the walks more mentally stimulating. I cannot recommend Claudine and her services enough!”

About: I am comfortable with animals of all ages and size and love spending time with them. I would welcome any opportunity to help out with caring for the fur babies of fellow pet parents. Currently, I work a 9 to 5 with 3 remote days so pet care can fit easily before, after, or during work when I am at home. In September, I will be working 3 times a week as a Nurse Aide and am able to pick my own schedule. I will have free time to walk or pet sit throughout the rest of the week and am able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the family. I am conscious of the importance of understanding the nature of the animals we care for and make an active effort to keep my space as cat friendly as possible for my pets. I make sure all dogs and cats I interact with feel calm and safe in my presence so they can trust me.
About: I treat every pet like my own, giving them patient, reliable, and attentive care. You can count on me to keep your furry friend safe, happy, and loved with every visit. What Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life I have two pets of my own, so my week is built around feeding, walking, playtime, and keeping animals happy and healthy. Adding your pets into my routine is easy and enjoyable, because caring for animals is something I do every single day. While pet sitting, I follow the same level of care I give my own pets regular feeding, fresh water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention and comfort. I stick to each pet’s routine, monitor their behavior closely, and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for until you’re home.

“Steve is fantastic and I look forward to his stories of how the walk went. He is the utmost professional and Hank loves him. Steve is an absolute gem and you can’t go wrong with him taking care of your fur baby. He treats Hank as his own and what more could you ask for?!?”

“Nathalia is wonderful with my puppy, she's very sweet and has great positive energy that she shares with her smile. My puppy gets very excited when Nathalia walks into my home, they have a good connection.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Verona
This was only our first meeting with Brad. We booked him for 1 hour prior to a planned pet sitting stayover to meet us and our loving boy Jackson. To familiarize Brad with Jackson's routine, we wanted him to join us while we took Jackson on his daily walk. Brad was attentive and asked thorough questions about Jackson's care. They got along right away. We feel more comfortable having scheduled a longer initial meet. It gave us more peace of mind in knowing that the care and well being of our sweet baby and the care and regard for our home will be in good hands!

I’m home recovering from surgery and had never used Rover before, so I was really nervous about booking in general. Katie was beyond sweet, patient, and treated Curley so kindly. The first day, she brought her daughter, who was also the sweetest and such a bonus since Curley loves kids! They communicated with me and shared the cutest pictures. I felt really comfortable having them walk Curley and will definitely continue booking with them ☺️

Carolina is fantastic and I highly recommend her! She is punctual, communicative, and our Doggo really loved his walks with her! She sent us plenty of photos of Oli on his walks and photos of him eating his dinner and drinking water. We will definitely continue to reach out to her when we need Oli to be walked! Thank you Carolina! 💕

We had a fantastic experience with Tom and can’t recommend him enough. He stepped in on short notice to help take care of our husky, Talc, and completely exceeded our expectations. He was reliable, communicative, and took the time to understand Talc and make him as comfortable as possible. We were especially happy to hear such positive feedback about Talc’s behavior while we were away – it showed how well Tom connected with him. We’ll certainly be reaching out again next time we need a dedicated and trustworthy dog walker for Talc. Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
