I’ve had rescue dogs for decades, and each one has had their own personality and unique socio-emotional needs. That experience taught me patience, flexibility, and how to make even the most sensitive or anxious dogs feel safe and loved. I typically took my own dogs for 3–5 mile walks every day — so if your pup needs lots of exercise, I’m ready! I’m also experienced with senior dogs, including administering medications and adjusting walks and playtime for their comfort. Whether your dog is a high-energy walker, a nervous rescue, or a sweet senior, I care for them as if they were my own.

Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel safe and secure. I always double-check leashes, gates, and doors, and keep a close eye on them during walks and playtime. I take time to get to know each pet and move at their pace, especially if they’re shy or nervous. And of course, I'm always happy send you updates and photos along the way, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Plus who doesn't love cute dog pics?!

Schedule
Because I work from home, caring for pets is woven right into my day. I can easily step away for walks, playtime, or a cuddle break — and honestly, it’s the best part of my workday. My work and life schedule is flexible Monday through Friday, so I can adjust to your pup’s needs, whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or afternoon hangs. Your dog becomes part of my daily rhythm, not just a quick stop on a busy schedule. I can also sometimes be available on weekends with a little advance notice, please just ask!
