About: I have experience with all linda’s of pets! i grew up around animals and have a farm with goats and chickens, along with my own two dogs and cats at home. i’m currently away at college but i love spending my time off caring for pets and have really enjoyed dog sitting during the summers. i’m hoping to continue dog sitting while i'm away at school. I’m responsible, caring, and will treat your pets like my own! Im currently working part time, and have classes during the week. but have extra free time to come by and sit your dogs, letting them out, walking etc. My classes aren’t all day and I have limited hours with my part time job! About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I also volunteer at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, where I socialize with dogs and cats, take dogs on walks, play with them, and help with their overall care. I’m comfortable feeding pets, providing fresh water, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’m an active person, so longer walks and hikes are always a pleasure, especially for energetic dogs! I’m also happy to handle the less glamorous parts of pet care. If your pet has an accident inside the house, I have no problem cleaning it up and making sure everything is left clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with patience, care, and lots of attention while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I’m available for morning, midday, afternoon, and evening visits, depending on the day and your pet’s needs. On weekends, I’m available throughout the day and can easily accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and longer visits. Safety is always my priority. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks and make sure they’re secure and comfortable at all times. Depending on your preferences and your dog’s routine, I can supervise them in the backyard, take them for walks around the neighborhood, or bring them to a dog park for some exercise and playtime. About: I've been a dog lover since I was a wee lad, and I used to constantly check out the same informative dog book from my school library until eventually they just let me buy it. I still have it! I've fostered eight dogs and four cats, and my dad currently has two dogs who he trusts to sit for when he goes on work trips or vacations. I have horse experience as well, so if I can care for a horse, I sure can care for your pet. I'm also learning pet grooming, slowly but surely! If you have a well-mannered, not-too-big doggy that doesn't mind the water, I'd be happy to bathe them for you. I'm still looking for a more stable job, so as it stands, my schedule is completely open. I'm not a super big morning person, but I'm willing to sacrifice my extra hours of sleep for your pet! When I petsit at my dad's house, I barely even leave a trace I was there. I'd say I'm quite neat, and I may very well end up cleaning your house if I think I've "made a mess", anyway. I was so thankful to have found Maureen to walk my dog, Jimmy, during my surgical recovery when I was not permitted to walk the dog on a leash. Having Maureen walk the dog during my recovery reduced a lot of stress so that I could recover more quickly. She is an incredible, punctual, flexible, and trustworthy dog walker. She truly loved Jimmy, who gave her kisses after every walk. Maureen followed all my direction for caring for Jimmy. What was most incredible was that Maureen walked Jimmy through the extremely cold weather that we just experienced. She went above and beyond in walking Jimmy through these cold temperatures by wrapping him in a fleece blanket and carrying him to spots where he could poop and pee. Maureen is highly professional and will go the extra mile to take loving care for your dog. I would highly recommend her and would book her again to take care of Jimmy.
