“Digdem (Dee) was very responsible and loving with Blue. Blue is an older dog and she knew how to take care of him well. She gave him his meds and his meals every day. Blue didn’t lose any weight in her care. Dee sent us pics of Blue almost every day. He hang out regularly with one of Dee’s dogs and seemed to do everything with his new friend. In the pics Blue always seems to be smiling. Dee had comfy pillow beds for him and at night he slept on one of those in Dee’s bedroom. In the evenings, Blue also watched TV on the sofa cuddled by Dee and next to his doggie friend. All in all, Dee was a wonderful doggie caretaker for Blue during our two and a half weeks of travel. About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. She is a secure dog and adaptable to any environment. I believe my dog’s calm and friendly demeanor is a direct reflection of my skills. I’m prepared to handle dogs across the spectrum of sizes and energy levels. I live close to many beautiful parks and trails, some with dedicated areas for dog-play. I will closely follow any instructions you have for feeding, exercising, sleeping and socializing your precious pet. I work part-time from home and set my own schedule so I am able to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to your pet easily. I will treat your pet like part of my family if they stay with me. About: I have had two cats all my life which I have cared for, fed and changed litter for. I also have experience with walking and caring for dogs. I am free anytime from here up until the 16th of August which is when I will be going back to college, but I will be free when winter break comes around. My cats are house cats so it is very easy for me to keep them safe. I shoo them away from anything dangerous or anything they shouldn’t be messing with quickly. As for dogs, I always keep an eye on them and have a tight grip on their leash when walking them so they don’t run off.

After checking to make sure that he’d enjoy it, they gave him lots of play time with their kids and other dogs and treated him to multiple trips to the dog park. He started to show signs of an ear infection the day before I had to drop him off, and they were so kind about cleaning his ears twice a day. “We would give 10 stars if we could! Tricia had our Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard mix Lenny for a little over a week and it was the first time we had ever left him anywhere. At our first meeting, it was clear that Tricia has a tremendous amount of experience and know-how when it comes to dogs, and I knew immediately that we were in great hands. She calmed our nerves and assured us that she would keep us updated while we were away. She helped our guy settle into a routine quickly and she did an extraordinary job handling his food issues (we sent pre-made table food for her to give him). While we were away, she was an excellent communicator and sent us various pictures of him during different times of the day. He looked so happy that we were afraid he wouldn't want to come home! When we picked him up, he was happy, healthy, clean, and showed obvious affection towards Tricia. About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy.
