“Digdem (Dee) was very responsible and loving with Blue. Blue is an older dog and she knew how to take care of him well. She gave him his meds and his meals every day. Blue didn’t lose any weight in her care. Dee sent us pics of Blue almost every day. He hang out regularly with one of Dee’s dogs and seemed to do everything with his new friend. In the pics Blue always seems to be smiling. Dee had comfy pillow beds for him and at night he slept on one of those in Dee’s bedroom. In the evenings, Blue also watched TV on the sofa cuddled by Dee and next to his doggie friend. All in all, Dee was a wonderful doggie caretaker for Blue during our two and a half weeks of travel. “What a blessing! We had never left our Tumaini (Tutu) for more than a night or two with friends, so we were understandably nervous. From the very start, Manuel put our minds at ease. We first scheduled a meet-and-greet, followed by a full day with Manuel so he and Tu could get to know each other. She had a fantastic time (!!), and we knew right away she was in the best hands. While we were away, Manuel kept us updated with messages and photos, always responding quickly—even to our “we miss Tu so much” texts. He took her on three to four walks a day (which means we officially have no excuse for just three and a backyard romp—lol!). “Katie and Zayn were amazing! My cat has congestive heart failure and needs his meds at very specific times. I had asked them to come and give his night pills while I was at work. Oliver is very shy of new people. But he liked Katie and Zayn. I have tired another pet sitter and he refused to come out from under the bed. Oliver was not like this with them. Katie and Zayn took the time to be with my cats and make sure they were comfortable. The communication they provided me was also amazing. I am a helicopter parent and they were happy to provide me with text updates. I highly recommend Katie and Zayn. I will definitely be using them in the future for any of my pets needs. About: When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you’re caring for your own pets or someone else’s. I believe pets should be treated like people, with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well being. After owning a family retail business for many years, and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past eight years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners, ensuring strict supervision of pets during excursions while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well being of your dog will always be my number one priority. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm. For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and held part-time jobs & volunteer positions fostering and helping animals find homes. I work from home full-time and my partner is a registered nurse, so we have very flexible schedules. I also do have my own amazing, handicapped senior dog, so will only accept dogs that are friendly and we’ll trained. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs ever since I could remember. I have a lot of experience and love for animals of all kinds. My family and friends have relied on me to walk, bathe, feed, and care for their pets for many years! I am currently attending Berklee College of Music so i’m available at anytime on the weekend and most times during the week, if you contact me we can definitely work something out! I live in a pretty spacious apartment where your dog can have more than enough space to walk around, and although I grew up with 3 dogs in my home town, I do not have any dogs here in Boston so there is no worry about whether or not your dog with get along with other dogs. This way I will be able to give my full, undivided attention to your dog while I’m on the job. I am a student at Berklee College of Music and have some classes during the week but I am pretty flexible as they are only a couple of hours out of the day. I am completely free on weekends. I love animals and they deserve the best. I give my pets lots of love, and pets, and cuddles; and I treat every pet that I care for, and my own.

About: I spent the past 4 years running a successful dog-watching business in NYC with my partner. We have since relocated to Northern NJ and intend to provide the same high quality services for pets here. I grew up with animals - dogs, rabbits, birds, mice, turtles and fish. I would’ve had cats too if members of my family weren’t so allergic. As a teen I volunteered with friends at our local animal shelter and chose to work with the cat population because most of the volunteers wanted to walk the dogs. Most recently I trained my own dog - starting from when she was 6 weeks old. I used a combination of training techniques (including crate training) to successfully potty-train her, teach her to walk on a leash and eventually teach her to hike and run together off-leash. My dog is now 3 years old and I bring her to my grandmother’s assisted living facility. She interacts with and plays appropriately with other dogs, pets, adults and children of all ages. She is a secure dog and adaptable to any environment. I believe my dog’s calm and friendly demeanor is a direct reflection of my skills. I’m prepared to handle dogs across the spectrum of sizes and energy levels. I live close to many beautiful parks and trails, some with dedicated areas for dog-play. I will closely follow any instructions you have for feeding, exercising, sleeping and socializing your precious pet. I work part-time from home and set my own schedule so I am able to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to your pet easily. I will treat your pet like part of my family if they stay with me. About: I have had two cats all my life which I have cared for, fed and changed litter for. I also have experience with walking and caring for dogs. I am free anytime from here up until the 16th of August which is when I will be going back to college, but I will be free when winter break comes around. My cats are house cats so it is very easy for me to keep them safe. I shoo them away from anything dangerous or anything they shouldn’t be messing with quickly. As for dogs, I always keep an eye on them and have a tight grip on their leash when walking them so they don’t run off.

About: I've been a dog lover since I was a wee lad, and I used to constantly check out the same informative dog book from my school library until eventually they just let me buy it. I still have it! I've fostered eight dogs and four cats, and my dad currently has two dogs who he trusts to sit for when he goes on work trips or vacations. I have horse experience as well, so if I can care for a horse, I sure can care for your pet. I'm also learning pet grooming, slowly but surely! If you have a well-mannered, not-too-big doggy that doesn't mind the water, I'd be happy to bathe them for you. I'm still looking for a more stable job, so as it stands, my schedule is completely open. I'm not a super big morning person, but I'm willing to sacrifice my extra hours of sleep for your pet! When I petsit at my dad's house, I barely even leave a trace I was there. I'd say I'm quite neat, and I may very well end up cleaning your house if I think I've "made a mess", anyway. About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy. What makes my home safe is that I live a safe area. There is a park across the street across the street. They also get the backyard. There are no kids and they will monitored.
