“Thank you so much for taking care of my girl! I’m always so happy to book Kyra, I know my cat is in excellent hands with her! Kyra is so attentive and leaves such detailed notes about each visit. Would 10000% recommend!”

“Our sitters were easy to communicate with, and we felt comfortable knowing our cats were safe, well cared for, and happy. We came home to a clean house and content pets, couldn’t ask for more!”

“Lindsay was so great to work with! Our Poodle Pippa had major surgery a week prior so my wife and i were nervous about leaving her with someone new (she’s get too excited and tear her stitches) but when we met Lindsay we were immediately reassured. Very professional, pleasant, and responsible. Not to mention she did all of this on Thanksgiving! Highly recommend.”

About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.
“Jon was the best sitter I ever had through Rover. I was very pleased when I met with him ahead of time, during the time he was sitting my dogs and when I came home everything looked as it should - He even brought in my packages for me and set them aside. Great person and a great sitter. Hope to use again -”

“our cats Were very happy with Amy. she feed them , clean the kitty litter and played with them... sent pictures every day..work out great. I'm happy and the cats are happy”
“Jonny was so sweet and patient with Suki! She is a senior dog so she has very particular eccentricities and needs someone who will give her time and patience and he did just that 😊 10/10 would recommend”

“Despite Charlie never coming out from under my bed, Blake showed up daily 2x/day to feed her, try to play, & ensure she had a clean litter box. I think Charlie would have had a pretty fun time, had she stuck her nose out just a little. Lots of funny pics of Charlie's eye &nose! 😁 I'd call Blake again -- he's a responsible cat- sitter.”

“Katrina was great checking in on our 2 cats while we were on holiday. One cat is very skittish but she opened up and played by day 2. Katrina was prompt for all check ins and great with communication (even when we were slow). We will definitely be using her again to watch our babies.”
“Cheryl is great! She visited and went over our dog's needs (she is currently paralyzed), then rechecked with us on her care upon arrival. We got photos and she received lots of snugs from our dog!”
“Melissa was so sweet to our cat Hazel whom immediately took to her. Our road flooded and was closed due to a downed tree and she still came to feed her! I literally can't imagine someone nicer and more responsible.”

“Mark did an excellent job of taking care of Luna and my home and left very detailed updates regarding his drop in visits which gave me peace of mind while I was away!!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and held part-time jobs & volunteer positions fostering and helping animals find homes. I work from home full-time and my partner is a registered nurse, so we have very flexible schedules. I also do have my own amazing, handicapped senior dog, so will only accept dogs that are friendly and we’ll trained. I would love the chance to spend time with your pets & make them feel safe while you're at work or away! I know how hard it can be to find good dog sitters, and I want to be that person for someone else! I work from home full-time so am available day or night to help take care of your pets whenever you need. Usually available on weekends too. I have a one bedroom apartment in a high-rise luxury building that is pet-friendly. There are dog parks nearby and nice areas to walk, so I will make sure your pet gets exercise. I also have dog treats and some toys if your dog needs anything.
About: I've been a dog lover since I was a wee lad, and I used to constantly check out the same informative dog book from my school library until eventually they just let me buy it. I still have it! I've fostered eight dogs and four cats, and my dad currently has two dogs who he trusts to sit for when he goes on work trips or vacations. I have horse experience as well, so if I can care for a horse, I sure can care for your pet. I'm also learning pet grooming, slowly but surely! If you have a well-mannered, not-too-big doggy that doesn't mind the water, I'd be happy to bathe them for you. I'm still looking for a more stable job, so as it stands, my schedule is completely open. I'm not a super big morning person, but I'm willing to sacrifice my extra hours of sleep for your pet! When I petsit at my dad's house, I barely even leave a trace I was there. I'd say I'm quite neat, and I may very well end up cleaning your house if I think I've "made a mess", anyway. LOL I adhere to walk/feed schedules exactly, so please make sure to provide me with a detailed one!

“Victoria is amazing! She gave Bernard the best care and comfort while we were away, from snuggles to nutrition and a clean environment. I highly recommend her for your cats or dogs.”
“Tracy and Steven were awesome—our pets were clearly in great hands. They really took the time to bond with them, playing with our dog and giving lots of attention and cuddles to our cats. They showed up three times a day like clockwork and even grabbed a couple packages from the front door, which we really appreciated. The updates and photos after each visit were thoughtful and reassuring. It made a big difference not having to worry about our animal children while we were away. We’d definitely book them again.”

“I was hesitant to use a new dog walker, but my experience with Natalie was very assuring and she was fantastic with my dog King! She was friendly, always on time for the walks, professional and very responsible. I feel so relieved now that I found another great Dog Walker. I highly recommend Natalie and look forward to using her in the future.”

“We opted for drop-in visits for our dog and Gabby did an amazing job. She understood the instructions well and was super responsible in handling him and getting in and out of our home. My dog had a great time and we’d definitely hire Gabby again! 😊”

Essex Fells cat parents share their Rover experiences
I was very happy with Jenny as my cat sitter. She was very thorough with feeding the kitties and took a lot of time to brush Sweetheart and give her lots of attention. Shadow even came out a few times, something she rarely does. Jenny did a great job keeping the litter pan clean and throwing away the garbage. She also brought my mail in. I received a nice note daily as well as several photos. I would recommend her highly.

Despite Charlie never coming out from under my bed, Blake showed up daily 2x/day to feed her, try to play, & ensure she had a clean litter box. I think Charlie would have had a pretty fun time, had she stuck her nose out just a little. Lots of funny pics of Charlie's eye &nose! 😁 I'd call Blake again -- he's a responsible cat- sitter.
