About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have always taken care of them. I am a second year veterinary student at Rowan University’s inaugural veterinary class. Animals are my life! I am in Livingston for the next 4 months with a pretty open schedule, barring a few short trips. I would love to help out! I am very detail oriented and great at following specific instructions due to my experience working in the veterinary field and caring for boarding animals. About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.

About: When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you’re caring for your own pets or someone else’s. I believe pets should be treated like people, with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well being. After owning a family retail business for many years, and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past eight years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners, ensuring strict supervision of pets during excursions while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well being of your dog will always be my number one priority. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm. For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.

I work from home full-time and my partner is a registered nurse, so we have very flexible schedules. I also do have my own amazing, handicapped senior dog, so will only accept dogs that are friendly and we’ll trained. I would love the chance to spend time with your pets & make them feel safe while you're at work or away! I know how hard it can be to find good dog sitters, and I want to be that person for someone else! I work from home full-time so am available day or night to help take care of your pets whenever you need. Usually available on weekends too. I have a one bedroom apartment in a high-rise luxury building that is pet-friendly. There are dog parks nearby and nice areas to walk, so I will make sure your pet gets exercise. I also have dog treats and some toys if your dog needs anything.

About: I've been caring for pets (dogs and cats) belonging to neighbors, friends, and family since middle school. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or just hanging out with them, it's always felt natural. I've also had dogs in my own home since I was 4, so they've truly been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love them like family! I have the most experience with medium/large-sized dogs and have worked with pups as young as around a year old all the way up to seniors. For cats, I've cared for those 2 and older. I'm a graduate student with a flexible schedule that leaves me with some free time throughout the week. Pet care fits in perfectly, and I figured why not spend that time doing something I love! Every pet and home is different, so I always follow the owner's instructions and routines. Whether it's feeding schedules, walking habits, or just how their pet likes to be comforted, I make sure to communicate with clients beforehand so their pet feels safe and at ease in their own space.

I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes (from Yorkies to Bernies and anything in between), as well as cats (single or multiple). I also have experience with seniors and even super seniors, as well as administering medications like pills, liquids, drops, and insulin shots. I look forward to helping your pets feel loved and cared for (and to sending you lots of pics of them)! I work a remote job from home so my schedule is flexible. My husband and I currently have one 5 year old dog who is the light of our lives. We also regularly help my parents with their 16 year old dog and two cats. I believe in paying attention to pets’ needs and how they communicate them. This includes understanding what might make them nervous and what strategies can be implemented to help them feel more comfortable. This also includes regular communication with owners to provide reassurance to them (and their pets)!
