About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets over many years, starting from when I was a student and continuing to now. As an undergraduate, I raised two cats in my dorm room. One year later, one of my cats gave birth to four kittens. I cared for the mother and kittens until they were independent, kept one kitten, and responsibly found loving homes for the other three. During this time, I learned how to monitor young cats’ health, behavior, and development. I also have experience with medical care, including administering subcutaneous injections to my cat when he was diagnosed with bladder stones. This experience taught me to stay calm, follow veterinary instructions carefully, and monitor pets closely for any changes in condition. When I moved to the U.S. for my master’s degree, a close friend entrusted me with the care of his three cats, as he was unable to bring them with him. I cared for all three cats for over a year, managing daily feeding, litter maintenance, playtime, and monitoring their health and behavior. After graduating, I moved to New Jersey and now live with my wife and our cat. We also run a small YouTube channel for our cat, which has helped me become even more attentive to routines, enrichment, and stress-free environments for cats. In addition, I regularly help friends by feeding and checking on their cats when they are unavailable. I also assist relatives by walking their dogs during holidays, a responsibility I’ve handled since high school. Growing up, I have cared for many different types of pets, including rabbits, turtles, squirrels, and parrots. I am also comfortable around less common pets, as friends with animals such as snakes, spiders, and birds of prey have often invited me to interact with and care for them under supervision. Overall, I am patient, detail-oriented, and highly respectful of each pet’s individual needs and routine. I take responsibility seriously and always prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication with pet owners. I work a regular weekday schedule and am available for pet care after 5:30 PM on weekdays, as well as most weekends and holidays. I am reliable with scheduled visits and make sure to dedicate focused, quality time during each drop-in or walk. I carefully plan my availability to ensure pets receive consistent and attentive care. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking services in my clients’ homes, allowing pets to stay in a familiar and low-stress environment. During drop-in visits for cats and dogs, I carefully follow the owner’s instructions and focus on each pet’s individual routine and personality. Care may include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or pet areas, administering basic care as instructed, playtime, exercise, and companionship. I also monitor the pet’s behavior, appetite, and overall well-being during every visit. For dog walking, I prioritize safety and consistency. I use secure leashes and harnesses as requested, follow the dog’s normal walking routine, and adjust the pace and distance based on the dog’s age, energy level, and health. I also remain attentive to weather conditions and ensure dogs have time to rest and hydrate. Clear communication is very important to me. After each visit or walk, I provide updates so owners know how their pets are doing and can feel confident while they’re away. These videos may include moments such as feeding, walking, or playtime. About: Red Ruff Inn We take the care and well being of your 4 legged family members very serious and understand that separation anxiety not only happens with dogs but with parents as well. As such we provide constant updates via text, email messages, photos and videos. Our home is situated in a very dog friendly community. Many of our neighbors are clients of our dog walking and boarding service. Their pets along with our doggy guests provides your pooch receives plenty of socialization, exercise and playtime. Our large fenced in yard provides a safe and secure area so your doggy will be able to run and romp to their heart desire. All dogs receive 3 to 4 walks daily. A well exercised dog is a happy dog. :) We offer drop off and pick up service, dog walking, overnight boarding, long term care, bathing and daycare service (up to 10 hours) Your 4 legged family member will love us as much as we love them. They will be happy when you drop off and not ready for you to pick up. They will want more time with us and vs versa. That’s a great sign so don’t get jelly:) it happens. We truly love animals! Currently we don't own any pets, so we truly look forward to doggy visitors. We will take care of your pet as if they are our own. Please be sure your pet is bathed before arrival as they have full run of our home. We take great care in keeping our home neat and clean. I work from home. The Dogs will have 24 hour supervision by myself other than my running errands. I walked the dogs three times per day. The dogs are a part of our family while at my home. I provide three walks a day for dogs, one and above for puppies I provide four walks per day.
