About: I grew up with dogs and loved looking after neighborhood pets as well including cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, lizards and turtles. When I was little, I used to save earthworms after rainstorms by moving them gently from the road back onto the grass, so I am a lifelong animal lover who followed that passion to college to study wildlife biology. I volunteered at wildlife rehabilitation hospitals during that time, learning how to care for and administer medications to young and recovering animals. I’m a diligent caregiver, and pet willing, I’d love to play with them as well as tending to their basic needs. :) I’m currently working from home part-time, so my schedule is flexible. If your pets have a routine they stick to, I can ensure that continuity until you return! I am great at following directions you’ve left or walked me through. I’ll also ask you about their personalities in case they have any erratic tendencies like intense zoomies so I can let you know if they are behaving normally. With neighbors in the past, I have played with their pups/kitties/birdies or brought a book to keep their pets company at their place for an hour or so after taking care of their basic needs.

About: My partner and I have been dog sitting for five years. Prior to that, we both grew up with family dogs and are very familiar and comfortable with a wide variety of dogs and breeds. We are incredibly enthusiastic, loving, and kind towards all animals. A stay with us if fun for your pet and for us! We love going on walks, and we live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex/neighborhood. We hope you’ll have your furry friend come stay with us! I am dog-sitting full time and my wife, Kayla, works remotely from home most days. Together we give your dogs the utmost care and attention. Attentiveness is the most important thing for us when with pets. In our home, we make sure that we can see the dog playing at all times. We put items away that are not dog-friendly, and we clear out space for playing and downtime. On walks, we are always attentive to the dog and how they behave and interact with other people, dogs and other animals in the neighborhood. A stay with us is always fun for the dog, but we like to make sure that your pet is safe and cared for. We also value communication. You putting your pet in our care while you are away, and we understand the trust that it takes to leave a member of your family with us. We give as many updates as you’d like via messenger and numerous photos or videos throughout the day. We are always reachable and willing to let you know how your dog’s stay is going. I’m currently working remotely. I tutor part-time from home, but I’m almost always home and I make pet sitting a priority. I used to be a teaching assistant, so I am very reliable and used to being responsible for others’ loved ones. I live in a very safe apartment complex. The buildings look like town homes, it is away from the main roads, and the complex Is pet friendly with lots of grass areas for your little guy or girl to do their business. It’s a wonderful welcoming community. I have my own entrance to my apartment and all the dogs in the community are wonderful.

About: I’ve been taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I always had love for dogs in all sizes and their different personalities. Since having a dog on my own last year I’ve learned to practice training and grooming all by myself. I love to spend lots of time to make sure our furry friends stays healthy and happy with full attention and care. I am currently full time at home which I spend most the time with my dog. I take walks daily morning and night. Feel free to ask for availability. I live in a condo. My dog Bagel is a friendly 4 year old girl that likes to play with others and full of energy. Treats, toys, extra leash, water bowl could be provided. (If needed)

I have a lot of experience working with all types and sizes of dogs including reactive, fearful, and overly excited dogs, puppies, and those who need training! I put my training practices into every walk to make sure the dog is safe and doing the best they can! I love walking, running, playing ball or tug with dogs, training, and creating a lot of enrichment activities to tire out their brains! I do have a day job, but I tend to be free in the mornings or afternoons! I have a very active lifestyle so your dog will get all the activities they need! I am very knowledgeable with all types of harnesses, collars, and leashes so I will make sure your dog is fitted properly and safe! Also, I have a lot of experience with feeding dogs and cleaning up after them, so I can make sure your home is spotless! About: I give personalized care to every pet. I also have experience with dogs, whether it’s reinforcing basic training or providing attentive care, I adjust my approach to fit them. I plan my schedule around consistency and reliability. I make sure pets get timely walks, meals, playtime and specific care they need. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I intentionally structure my time around. In a client’s home I focus on maintaining their normal schedule so they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. In my home, I create a safe, calm space where they can relax and feel at ease.

About: I happened to work as Sales & Social Media Coordinater for a dog training school a few years back, and that experience changed my whole outlook on how we care for our pets! The dog trainers I created content for taught me about positive reinforcement and reward-based methods in the process. Since moving to a different field I’ve used those skills to handle, walk, and petsit every animal from bearded dragons to cats on the side in a way that’s fun for everyone involved. Animals are my happy place & I’d love to share that joy with your family! I work 9AM to 6:15PM most days, so I am the perfect candidate for your morning and evening walks as well as overnight stays! I can do afternoon Drop-Ins for Short Hills/Essex County residents as well. It’s also no problem for me to house-sit and care for your home as gently as your pets! I’m very flexible - please contact me to find a schedule that works for you! I do not offer boarding services in my own home at this time, but I will always make sure I leave my client’s home as I left it when I visit and care for their beloved one 🐾

I can also care for them during the weekends as often as possible. I love talking walks around neighborhoods frequently so I am more than happy to take your dog on a nice long walk or just entertain in your home or backyard with toys!
